🔥 THE POWER OF YOUR TESTIMONY ❤️
Your Testimony is far more than a Personal Story…
It is evidence of God’s living power at work. Every time we share what the Lord has done, we remind the world that Jesus is still saving, healing, restoring, and transforming lives today.
A Testimony reveals the faithfulness of God and strengthens the faith of those who hear it. What God has done once, He is able and willing to do again.
Powerful truths about testimony:
✨ It Reveals God’s Faithfulness
Your story becomes living evidence that the Lord is faithful to His promises.
✨ God’s Word Gives It Power
When our testimony is anchored in Scripture, it carries eternal truth, not just personal experience.
✨ Faith Is Stirred in Others
Hearing what God has done ignites hope and expectation in the hearts of those believing for their own breakthrough.
✨ Jesus Is the Center
The purpose of every testimony is simple: to reveal Christ and point people to the Savior of the world.

00:06Revealing the Heart of Testimony
00:081 John 5.9 tells us,
00:11If we accept as we do the testimony of man,
00:15if we are willing to take human authority,
00:18the testimony of God is greater of stronger authority,
00:23for this is the testimony of God,
00:26even the witness which he has borne regarding his Son.
00:30In the powerful true words of Boyd K. Packer,
00:34Keep the fire of your testimony of the restored gospel
00:38and your witness of our Redeemer burning so brightly
00:41that our children can warm their hands by the fire of your faith,
00:47revealing the heart of testimony.
00:50Want to know more?
00:52Hang around.
00:57Welcome, welcome to Lion's Roar 3.8 Ministries.
01:02My name is George Magalhães and Amos 3.8 tells us,
01:06A lion has roared who will not fear.
01:08The Lord God has spoken who can but prophesy.
01:12We are an apostolic ministry with a prophetic teaching edge.
01:16It is our passion, our mission to reignite, equip,
01:19and release Christ-like disciples both locally and globally.
01:23We do that through our itinerant ministry,
01:26but as well as providing you with resources just like this one
01:28to help you, to aid you in your God-given calling.
01:32Today we have our monthly The Boost Revival Night.
01:37Yes, tonight is the Revival Night,
01:40and as usual we have a guest,
01:42and our guest today is going to be our usual guest,
01:46Prophet Sabrina.
01:47Yes, but before I bring her up,
01:50let's get on to our main verse today,
01:52which we heard at the beginning.
01:53And our main verse comes from the book of 1 John,
01:571 John 5, verse 9.
02:00And I'm going to be reading from the voice translation,
02:02as you can see on the screen.
02:04If we accept the testimonies of people,
02:07then we must realize the testimony of God
02:10is greater than that of any person.
02:14God certified the truth about His own Son.
02:19Glory to God.
02:21So as I said,
02:23today we're going to be talking about,
02:26we're going to be discussing,
02:27and then praying,
02:28and then prophesying,
02:30as the Lord leads us,
02:31about revealing the heart of testimony.
02:35You ready?
02:36Cool.
02:37Fire away.
02:38Before I start,
02:39I want to say thank you to all
02:40who wish me happy birthday online.
02:42Really appreciate it.
02:44And I also want to thank this man here.
02:46Really, really...
02:48I can't say thank you enough.
02:50This is how much he's done,
02:52and how cool my birthday was.
02:54Oh, you guys can just think about it,
02:56but this is how it was for me.
02:58Anyway, let's get to business.
03:00In a good way.
03:01Amen.
03:02All right.
03:03So like George was talking about,
03:05we're talking about revealing the heart of testimony.
03:09Right?
03:10What is a testimony?
03:12American Heritage Dictionary describe it as an evidence
03:16in support of a fact or assertion or proof.
03:21Now, this is a description that you can get from a dictionary
03:26concerning testimony,
03:28as an evidence of support,
03:30which means it brings forth proof
03:33that this really happened.
03:35It brings forth proof
03:36that whatever the person has said
03:40or wherever the person has read it,
03:43right,
03:43it brings forth proof
03:44that this is yes and amen,
03:47like we say as Christians,
03:48it is yes and amen.
03:49For example,
03:50as we're talking about the Bible,
03:52it brings forth proof.
03:53A testimony brings forth proof
03:55about how the Word of God is yes.
03:58It's truly happened.
04:00It's not just myth.
04:01It's not just history
04:05that has a story that's been made up,
04:08but it's proof.
04:10Testimony is proof
04:11that the Word of God is alive.
04:13The testimony is proof
04:14that God is in your life.
04:17Like George said.
04:18So, as I said,
04:20we've done a,
04:21or I've done a testimony
04:23a while back,
04:24testimony program,
04:26and I mentioned about the definition.
04:28So, I'm going to be reading it out
04:29to you guys as well.
04:31So, my definition back then,
04:32which is our definition as well,
04:34is testimony is a living,
04:36again,
04:36I'm doing what Sabrina was saying.
04:37I went to a dictionary
04:39to find out what they say a testimony is,
04:42and then I gave it a Christian context.
04:44So, testimony is a living,
04:47experiential,
04:47open declaration
04:48or profession
04:49or confession,
04:50a statement,
04:52evidence,
04:52witness,
04:53a first-hand authentication
04:54of a fact.
04:56So, it's a fact.
04:57It's not a myth.
04:58In the Christian context,
04:59a testimony is a divine seed
05:01that continuously bears fruit
05:04in the individual
05:05and the audience.
05:07So, it's a divine seed
05:09that continuously bears fruit
05:11in the individual
05:12and the audience.
05:13The Bible,
05:14for example,
05:15the very Word of God
05:16is a testimony of God
05:17and His great plan
05:19for all creation.
05:20Amen?
05:21Amen.
05:22Right.
05:23So, we are all familiar
05:25with testimony
05:25and we even have our own.
05:29I'm sure we all have our own.
05:30And if you do not have your own
05:32and you are listening right now,
05:34and this is your first time,
05:35stay till the end
05:36and you will testify
05:38of God's goodness too.
05:40So, what is interesting
05:42about testimony
05:43when you hear about it
05:44is what do you receive from it
05:47or even how do you view it?
05:49See, when I was doing this teaching,
05:52you know,
05:52God was talking to me
05:53about doing a teaching
05:54of testimony.
05:55My first thought was,
05:56why testimony?
05:58And really,
05:59apart from George,
06:00what George did,
06:01I haven't really heard much
06:03about preaching
06:04or teaching on testimony much.
06:06I said,
06:06that doesn't mean
06:07that it's not out there.
06:08I just said,
06:08I haven't listened to,
06:10heard much about it.
06:11So, and I was,
06:13and God was talking to me
06:14and said,
06:15you know,
06:16it's interesting
06:16when my children hear testimony,
06:19what do they receive from it
06:21or even how they view it?
06:23How do you view testimony
06:24when you hear it?
06:25The Bible says in 1 John 1,
06:301 to 4,
06:32in the NKJV version,
06:35I'm just gonna,
06:36you're gonna read first
06:37or I'll read first?
06:37Yes, I'll read.
06:38Okay.
06:39Okay, so 1 John 1,
06:411 to 4.
06:42I'm gonna be reading
06:43from the Amplified Classic version.
06:45This is the story
06:45of what was heard,
06:47seen,
06:47and touched.
06:48Amen.
06:49We are writing
06:50about the word of life
06:51in him who existed
06:53from the beginning,
06:54whom we have heard.
06:55That's a key point.
06:57Whom we have heard,
06:59whom we have seen
07:00with our own eyes,
07:02whom we have gazed upon
07:04for ourselves,
07:05and have touched
07:06with our own hands.
07:07And the life of an aspect
07:09of his being
07:10was revealed,
07:11made manifest,
07:12demonstrated,
07:13and we saw
07:14as eyewitnesses
07:16and are testifying
07:17to declare
07:18to
07:19and declare to you
07:21the life,
07:22the eternal life
07:23in him
07:24who already existed
07:25with the Father
07:26and who actually
07:27was made visible,
07:29was revealed to us,
07:30his followers.
07:31What we have seen
07:33and ourselves heard,
07:34we are also telling you
07:36so that you too
07:37may realize
07:39and enjoy fellowship
07:40as partners
07:41and partakers
07:42with us.
07:43Amen.
07:43And this fellowship
07:44that we have,
07:45which is a distinguishing
07:47mark of Christians,
07:48is with the Father
07:49and with his Son,
07:51Jesus Christ,
07:52the Messiah.
07:53And we are now
07:54writing these things
07:55to you
07:55so that our joy
07:56in seeing you
07:57included
07:58may be full
08:00and your joy
08:01may be complete.
08:03Right.
08:04Amen.
08:04So we see in this passage
08:05John was writing
08:06about how he has seen
08:08and heard
08:09of the evidence,
08:10the proof,
08:11the testimony
08:12of Jesus' action
08:13here on earth
08:14and encourage others
08:16to live their life
08:17with a relationship
08:17with God.
08:18So that's what this passage
08:20was saying.
08:20We're saying
08:21we're not just saying
08:22anything to you.
08:23We are saying
08:23what we've experienced.
08:25We're saying
08:25what we've seen.
08:26That's why I say
08:27that's a key word.
08:27what we've seen,
08:29what we've heard.
08:30That's what a testimony
08:32is about.
08:33Right.
08:33So the key point
08:34of this chapter
08:35is verse 2
08:35where it's,
08:36and I'm reading
08:37from the NKJV version,
08:39the life was manifested
08:40and we have seen
08:42and bear witness.
08:43The word of God,
08:45what he's saying
08:45is the word of God
08:46manifests in all
08:48of those testimonies.
08:49Amen.
08:50Let me interrupt you here
08:51for a second.
08:52So you're talking
08:53about the origins.
08:55That's right.
08:55So straight away
08:57you can hear,
08:58you can see
08:58the heart
09:00of a testimony.
09:01That's right.
09:01Or the heart
09:02of testimony,
09:03sorry.
09:03Not a testimony,
09:04but the heart
09:05of testimony.
09:07That's right.
09:08Divine origin.
09:09Let me give you
09:10some cross-reference
09:13Bible verses
09:14so you get the picture
09:16of what we're trying
09:16to say here,
09:17what Sabrina was saying.
09:19For example,
09:19Psalm 19 verse 7.
09:21In Psalm 19 verse 7,
09:22and I'm reading
09:23from the Amplified Classic,
09:25the law of the Lord
09:26is perfect.
09:27What is the law
09:28of the Lord?
09:28It's talking about
09:29the word of God.
09:31Restoring the whole person.
09:33The testimony
09:34of the Lord
09:35is sure.
09:35In other words,
09:36it's complete.
09:38It's assured.
09:39It's reliable.
09:40That's right.
09:41It's factual.
09:43Making wise
09:44the simple.
09:45Mm-hmm.
09:46Again,
09:47I'll give you
09:47just one other verse.
09:48Mm-hmm.
09:49Isaiah 8 verse 20.
09:50In Isaiah 8 verse 20,
09:52in the Amplified Classic version,
09:53again,
09:54we see the origin
09:55or the heart
09:56of testimony.
09:58See,
09:59why am I saying the heart?
10:00I keep emphasizing that
10:01because,
10:03and we will get on
10:04to that point,
10:04but
10:07the heart,
10:09the keystone
10:11of testimony
10:12has to be
10:13the origin,
10:15the divine origin,
10:16as I said
10:17at the beginning
10:17in the definition.
10:18So Isaiah 8 verse 20,
10:20direct such people
10:22to the teaching
10:23and to the testimony.
10:25If their teachings
10:26are not in accord
10:27with this word,
10:28talking about the word of God,
10:30it is surely because
10:31there is no dawn
10:32and no morning
10:33for them.
10:34That's right.
10:34Amen.
10:37Adding to that,
10:38a testimony
10:38that doesn't have
10:39the word of God,
10:42really,
10:43I will doubt
10:43if it's a testimony
10:44in itself.
10:46Let's continue.
10:48And we'll explain
10:49a little bit more
10:49what you're trying
10:50to say with that.
10:51R.C. Sproul,
10:52is that how you say it?
10:53Sproul?
10:54R.C. Sproul.
10:55Yeah.
10:56R.C. Sproul
10:57says this brilliant quote,
10:58I love that,
10:59your personal testimony,
11:02however meaningful
11:03it is to you,
11:05is not the gospel.
11:08Right?
11:09I'll say it one more time
11:10and it's got so much
11:11in this one quote,
11:12right?
11:12Your personal testimony,
11:15however meaningful
11:16it is to you,
11:18is not the gospel.
11:20Like I asked before,
11:22how do you view testimony?
11:23Do you see
11:24the word of God
11:26manifest in the testimony?
11:28That is the heart
11:29of a testimony.
11:30Is the word of God
11:31in the testimony?
11:33Or is it a wow?
11:35Look what God has done
11:37for this person.
11:38Hope he will do
11:39the same for me.
11:41Or is it another wow?
11:42The person has gone
11:44through a lot.
11:45Unless I go through a lot,
11:47God won't have mercy on me.
11:49So how do you view testimony
11:50when you hear someone,
11:51you know,
11:53testifying of the goodness
11:55of God?
11:55What do you see?
11:56Do you see the pain
11:57the person has gone
11:58and I'm like,
11:58oh, I'm in the same situation
12:00but I haven't gone through
12:01as much pain
12:02as that person.
12:02They've suffered so much.
12:04You know,
12:05because they've suffered
12:06so much,
12:08God answered,
12:08because I haven't
12:09suffered that much,
12:11maybe God won't answer me.
12:12Maybe it's still time.
12:13Or even like,
12:14you know,
12:15like I said,
12:16look what God has done.
12:17Hope he will do it.
12:19Since he's done it
12:19for that person,
12:20maybe he will do it for me.
12:22You know,
12:22George and I,
12:23I was talking to George
12:24when God talked to me
12:25about testimony.
12:26He bring up
12:27an interesting thing,
12:28right?
12:28He bring up his grandma,
12:30right?
12:30And one of the questions
12:31I ask,
12:32it's really relatable.
12:33Wow,
12:34the person has gone
12:34through a lot.
12:35Unless I go through
12:36a lot,
12:37God won't have mercy on me.
12:38And he reminded me
12:40when,
12:41ages ago,
12:42when his grandma
12:42was alive,
12:43and she was Catholic.
12:46So,
12:46there was an issue,
12:47I think,
12:48in the family,
12:48right?
12:49And she had to,
12:50you say,
12:51well.
12:51there was several.
12:53Both my brother and I,
12:54we had eye operations,
12:55we had issues with our eyes
12:56and things like that.
12:58And my grandma,
12:59being a prayerful woman,
13:01she,
13:02especially in the Catholic Church
13:03and in those days,
13:04in Portugal,
13:05they thought that
13:06if they made
13:07personal sacrifices,
13:08like they would walk
13:09on their knees
13:10for a kilometer,
13:11that God would somehow
13:12feel pity for them
13:13and answer them.
13:15All sorts of weird
13:16stuff like that.
13:17It's their,
13:18they just didn't have
13:19that understanding
13:21of God's,
13:22and foundation
13:22of God's word
13:23and also who God is.
13:25That's right.
13:25So,
13:26they saw God
13:26in that sense.
13:28But what you're trying
13:29to say is,
13:30even though she's
13:31done those things,
13:34her heart
13:35was in the right place.
13:36That's right.
13:37In other words,
13:38what you were just
13:39saying before
13:39about saying
13:41your testimony
13:42and not including
13:43the word of God
13:45is not powerful.
13:46Now,
13:46you think,
13:47what I'm saying
13:48by this is that
13:48when you say
13:50your testimony,
13:50everything,
13:51you make up
13:51the whole story,
13:52the true story
13:53of your testimony,
13:55but everything
13:56has to be done
13:56with the word of God.
13:58I'm not saying that.
13:59What we're saying is,
14:00does it align
14:01with the word of God?
14:03Does the heart
14:04of what you're testifying
14:06align with the word of God?
14:08If most of the time
14:09you find yourself
14:10saying,
14:11and I did this
14:12and God told me this
14:14so I did that.
14:16If I didn't do that,
14:17this wouldn't happen.
14:18Exactly.
14:18If you find yourself
14:19doing that sort of a thing,
14:21where's the glory going?
14:23What's your heart
14:25behind that testimony?
14:26Because it sounds to me,
14:27no matter how many times
14:28you mention the name of Jesus,
14:29it sounds to me
14:30that you're drawing
14:30the attention to yourself.
14:32So,
14:32we need to understand
14:34that the heart
14:35of a testimony
14:36has to draw people
14:37to the origin
14:39That's right.
14:40of the rescuer,
14:42the saviour,
14:43the one who rescued you
14:45from that test
14:46and turned it
14:47into a testimony.
14:48So with my grandma,
14:50when she would pray
14:50and she would intercede,
14:52intercede
14:52even through the rosary,
14:54her heart was in
14:55the right place
14:56and because her heart
14:57was in the right place,
14:58it wasn't the actions,
15:00nevertheless,
15:01but the heart
15:01was in the right place,
15:03God heard her prayers.
15:04That's right.
15:05And many people
15:06have this misconception
15:08because of weak foundation,
15:10if I may say.
15:11And not just heard,
15:13answered.
15:13That's right.
15:14So,
15:15we would ask,
15:16well,
15:16why did God answer,
15:17for example,
15:18a person who walked
15:19100 kilometers
15:20on her knees
15:20just to get,
15:21forgot to answer her prayer?
15:22God.
15:23Not 100 kilometers.
15:24What?
15:24I don't know how long.
15:26100 kilometers.
15:28What was it?
15:29100 steps?
15:30100 steps?
15:30I don't know.
15:31I don't know.
15:31I don't know those things.
15:33But from what,
15:34from what I heard you spoke about,
15:37what I got from it,
15:39what God talked to me about,
15:40it was not the action
15:41that she did.
15:42It was when she released it
15:45in God's hand,
15:46that's what answered the prayer.
15:48That's the other.
15:48That is the important part of it.
15:50So,
15:51it's not like,
15:52oh,
15:52God answered her
15:53because she went through
15:54all those heartache,
15:55right?
15:56That's why God answered her.
15:57No,
15:58God was true to his word
16:00because he prayed,
16:02she prayed,
16:02sorry,
16:02she prayed to God
16:04and when she released
16:05that prayer into God's hand
16:07and without taking it,
16:09the moment a release for her
16:11was when she accomplished
16:13what she set as her own goal.
16:15So,
16:15you're saying us two points here.
16:16Yes.
16:17So,
16:17the first point was what I was saying,
16:18her heart was in the right place.
16:20Second point,
16:22which is part of that heart
16:23of testimony,
16:25which is so vital,
16:27is the faith part.
16:29That's right.
16:29What you're talking about is faith.
16:31When my grandma,
16:32she had this,
16:33even though it was a distorted way
16:35of thinking in the Catholic movement,
16:37that if I make this sacrifice,
16:39God's going to answer.
16:40Now,
16:41it may be distorted,
16:43but she had enough faith
16:44to believe
16:45without any uncertainty
16:47that by the time
16:49she finished that sacrifice,
16:50that's it,
16:51it's sealed.
16:52God is definitely going to answer.
16:53She had no doubt
16:53that God would answer.
16:55But it's not the sacrifice
16:56that God answered.
16:57Remember,
16:57it's her faith.
16:58It's the faith.
16:59So,
16:59here we are not,
17:00how do you call it,
17:02condoning,
17:03is that what you say it in English,
17:04right?
17:04Yeah.
17:04Yeah,
17:04we're not condoning actions like that.
17:06Please do not take it
17:08and stretch our word
17:09and our preaching today.
17:12What we are talking about
17:13is a faith,
17:14right,
17:14in the faith
17:16that she had
17:17in order for that to be answered.
17:19So,
17:19when other people hear that,
17:21when you heard what we just said,
17:22what did you hear first?
17:23Did you hear her going on her knees
17:25and walking for I don't know how long?
17:27And then God answered?
17:29Or did you hear the fact that
17:30because she had faith,
17:32she finished that bit with faith
17:35and God answered?
17:36So,
17:36the whole point
17:37of this teaching today
17:39is how do you hear
17:40the heart of the testimony?
17:42What do you get
17:43when you hear a testimony,
17:44right?
17:45Do you get,
17:46oh,
17:47God has done it.
17:48Hope he will do it.
17:49Because,
17:50you know,
17:50I may sit here,
17:51like for example,
17:52last,
17:52what,
17:54when we did
17:55one of our revival boosts,
17:58I gave the testimony
17:59how God healed me,
18:00right?
18:01And,
18:01and how it happened
18:03and all that.
18:05What did you hear?
18:06Did you hear,
18:07oh my gosh,
18:08she ministers on to people
18:09and she's been ministering
18:10since she was 16.
18:11Oh wow.
18:12And she got sick.
18:13Or did you,
18:13did you hear out of my testimony
18:15that God healed me?
18:17Did you hear out of my testimony
18:18that because I told you
18:20that I prayed
18:21and I kept declaring
18:22the word of God,
18:24even though it took six months,
18:26God actually healed me completely.
18:28Did you hear that
18:30or did you say,
18:31did you,
18:31what you hear
18:32and what you viewed,
18:33like we just talk about
18:34the scripture,
18:35what you have heard
18:36and what you have seen
18:36is,
18:38oh,
18:38here's a minister
18:39and here she wasn't well.
18:41How do you view the testimony?
18:43That is a very important thing.
18:46This sounds very,
18:47very simple.
18:48But it's important.
18:49This sounds extremely simple.
18:50You're probably thinking,
18:51what,
18:51what are they talking about?
18:52That's so simple to understand.
18:53It's important what you receive.
18:55It sounds like it's simple,
18:56but the reality,
18:56it's not.
18:58You need,
18:58you need that actual revelation
19:00to understand
19:00and implement this in your life
19:02because I'm telling you,
19:03even good things,
19:05what I mean by good is,
19:06even good actions,
19:07for example,
19:08you can be watching
19:09and we all get influenced somehow
19:11by some of those leaders
19:13or ministers
19:14that we honour
19:16and we love to watch
19:17or to listen
19:18or to learn from.
19:20Say,
19:20for example,
19:21a Bill Johnson
19:22from Bethel Church
19:23and Bill Johnson,
19:24sometimes you see him
19:25very calm,
19:25very relaxed
19:26and because he's so relaxed
19:28in front of people
19:28and he gets so much revelation,
19:30so good in his,
19:31in how he delivers the word,
19:33sometimes you see him
19:34put his hand in his pocket.
19:35Now,
19:36I understand
19:36that when he puts his hand
19:38in his pocket,
19:38he doesn't do it with malice.
19:40He doesn't do it
19:40in a disrespectful way
19:42towards God
19:43but religious people
19:44will see that,
19:45that,
19:45that way.
19:46Now,
19:47again,
19:47you could be watching that.
19:48What are you looking at?
19:50Are you looking at
19:50the words that he's speaking?
19:53Are you looking at
19:54the language he's using?
19:55Are you looking at
19:56his body,
19:56his behaviour,
19:57his posture,
19:58the way he put his clothes,
20:00the way,
20:01because I'll be sincere with you,
20:02I've seen people
20:03try to imitate Bill Johnson,
20:04try and be like Bill Johnson,
20:05put their hands
20:06in their pockets.
20:08I mean,
20:08I even found myself
20:10doing that once
20:10in a mission field
20:11and I remember somebody
20:12telling me,
20:13George,
20:13take your hand
20:14out of your pocket
20:14because it was disrespectful
20:15to do that
20:16in the Indian context,
20:18Indian culture
20:19and I was like
20:20taken back,
20:21like I can't believe
20:21I was doing that
20:22but,
20:24again,
20:24we're trying to emphasise
20:25that it sounds simple
20:26but it's not
20:28because we have to look
20:30beyond the words,
20:31we have to look
20:32beyond the culture,
20:33we have to look
20:33beyond the behaviour,
20:34beyond the person
20:35and see
20:37and get right
20:37to the core,
20:38to the essence,
20:40to the heart
20:41of the testimony
20:42which has to be
20:44God.
20:45That's right.
20:46See,
20:46it's the word of God
20:48in the testimony
20:49that brings alive
20:50the faith of hearing.
20:52See,
20:52we always say that,
20:53you know,
20:54you receive faith
20:55by hearing the word of God
20:56but a testimony
20:57is as much alive
20:59because when you're hearing it,
21:01the testimony,
21:01what brings it alive
21:02is the word of God in it,
21:05right?
21:05Because if I,
21:06for example,
21:07I'm the type of person
21:08if you said to me,
21:08oh,
21:09you know,
21:09this person,
21:10like we know,
21:11I remember we heard
21:12the testimony
21:13of a mafia guy,
21:14right?
21:14And what he's done,
21:16what he thinks.
21:17See,
21:17what gets me
21:18is not about
21:19who he murdered
21:20or how bad he's done.
21:22What gets me in it
21:23when I heard the testimony
21:24of that mafia guy
21:25was the grace
21:27and the mercy God had.
21:29And then the word of God
21:31where grace is concerned,
21:32the word of God
21:33where mercy is concerned,
21:34that becomes alive.
21:35It shows me more alive.
21:37It makes me more excited
21:38to see the word of God,
21:40to see Jesus being alive
21:41in those words,
21:43you know?
21:43When I heard,
21:45for example,
21:45the testimony of,
21:47what his name?
21:51Oh,
21:51I forgot.
21:53Okay,
21:53I forgot his name.
21:54Anyway,
21:55this minister
21:56whose mom had cancer
21:58for a long time.
22:00And she was giving a testimony
22:02about it
22:04and how,
22:04you know,
22:04it was getting worse
22:05even though she was
22:08declaring the word of God
22:09before it went better
22:11because now she doesn't have cancer
22:12and she hasn't had it
22:13for 30 years,
22:14right?
22:14And praise God.
22:16So when I hear that,
22:17I don't look like,
22:17oh my gosh,
22:18her husband was a pastor,
22:19her son is a pastor,
22:20they are praying people
22:21what's happened to her,
22:22you know?
22:22I don't look like,
22:24oh,
22:24she's still declaring
22:25the word of God,
22:25she's saying it
22:26and look,
22:27you know,
22:28it's taking time.
22:29No,
22:29what I see is,
22:31wow,
22:31look how she finished
22:32that race,
22:33right?
22:34Look,
22:34the word of God says,
22:35by your stripe,
22:36we are healed,
22:38which means it's done,
22:39like she was declaring as well
22:40and she's healed.
22:41That's what I see.
22:42So again,
22:43I say,
22:44so it's not the experience,
22:47but the word of God
22:49in the experience
22:50that matters.
22:51How you hear the testimonies
22:53matters.
22:54In the Bible,
22:54places where the word
22:55hear was written,
22:58right,
22:59it always followed
23:00by an action,
23:02right?
23:03So what does hearing the word,
23:06the word in a testimony do?
23:08So I'm going to,
23:08I'm going to give you guys
23:09a question.
23:10What does it do?
23:11Well,
23:11it brings life in the situation
23:13you're believing for,
23:14right?
23:15Let's read John 6,
23:1763.
23:18John 6,
23:1963,
23:20Amplified Classic.
23:21That's the story
23:21of the many disciples
23:22turned away.
23:23Remember,
23:23many people turned away
23:25after hearing something
23:26hard from Jesus.
23:27It is the spirit
23:28who gives life.
23:30He is the life giver.
23:31The flesh conveys
23:32no benefit whatever.
23:34There is no profit in it.
23:36The words,
23:38truths that I have
23:39been speaking to you
23:41are spirit
23:42and life.
23:44Amen.
23:44So I'll read that
23:45in NKJV version.
23:46It is the spirit
23:47who gives life.
23:48The flesh profits
23:50nothing.
23:51The words that I
23:53speak to you
23:54are spirit
23:56and they are life.
23:57Here,
23:58Jesus is speaking.
23:59So which word
24:00brings life?
24:02What did he say?
24:03The word I speak
24:04brings what?
24:05Life.
24:05Which word brings life?
24:06The word of God
24:07brings life.
24:08So the word
24:08he spoke,
24:10the word of God
24:10brings life.
24:11That's why
24:11when you hear
24:12the testimony,
24:13it's the word
24:14of God
24:15in that testimony
24:16that brings
24:16that testimony
24:17up.
24:18That what?
24:18Give value
24:20to a testimony.
24:21That's why
24:22Because as you
24:23just said
24:24and as we
24:24just heard,
24:25the words
24:26that I have
24:27been speaking
24:27to you
24:28are spirit
24:28and life.
24:30That's right.
24:30Spirit.
24:31That's a key word.
24:32We have to understand.
24:33That's why
24:33in the last few weeks
24:34I've been emphasizing
24:36a lot.
24:37God's been
24:40declarations.
24:40That's right.
24:41Some people
24:42say confessions,
24:43others say
24:43proclamation.
24:44Depending on which
24:44state you're in America.
24:46Declarations.
24:46Why is it so important?
24:47Because we have
24:48to understand,
24:49we have to remember,
24:50sometimes we think,
24:51oh, it's the word
24:52of God,
24:52like a human being
24:54that speaks.
24:54No.
24:55When God speaks,
24:57when we use
24:58God's word,
24:59his word
25:00is spirit
25:01and life.
25:02It's not
25:04conformed
25:05or it's not
25:06limited
25:06to the things
25:08of this world.
25:09His word
25:10is spirit
25:10which means
25:11it has authority
25:13over all things.
25:14So when you speak
25:15out his word,
25:16spirit,
25:17whether it's through
25:17declarations,
25:18whether it's through
25:19a testimony,
25:19you're releasing life.
25:21And I'll get to that
25:23as well, right?
25:23So why does
25:25the word of God
25:26bring life?
25:27Like George was saying,
25:28I'll add to that.
25:29Because when you speak
25:30the word of God
25:31or hear,
25:32where the word
25:33of God is
25:34in a testimony
25:35and apply it
25:36to your situation,
25:38it's not using
25:39your word
25:39like George was saying.
25:41It's using
25:42the word of God
25:44that is in line
25:45with God
25:46for you.
25:47And the Bible
25:48says so well
25:50in Jeremiah 1.12.
25:51Jeremiah 1.12,
25:53Amplified Classic.
25:54This is the story
25:55of the prophet
25:56is called.
25:57Then said the Lord
25:58to me,
25:59you have seen well
26:00for I am alert
26:01and active
26:02watching over
26:03my word
26:04to perform it.
26:07Watching over
26:07what word?
26:08The word.
26:09When we speak out
26:10his word.
26:11That's right.
26:12Then he watches it,
26:13he listens to it,
26:14and he'll perform it.
26:16How do you think,
26:17let me put this in
26:18for a second.
26:19How do you think
26:20in the Old Testament
26:21you see Abraham,
26:22you see all these characters,
26:23did they have
26:24the New Testament?
26:25No.
26:25Did they have
26:26the majority of the Bible?
26:27No.
26:27They had the Torah.
26:28They had a few
26:29of the books
26:30of the beginning
26:31of the Bible.
26:32Yet,
26:33God still answered them.
26:35Remember,
26:36in the New Covenant,
26:37Jesus fulfilled
26:38the law.
26:39In the Old Covenant,
26:41we were supposed
26:41to fulfill the law,
26:42even though there was
26:43still grace.
26:44I don't want to get
26:44too much into it.
26:45Grace in the...
26:46Because that's grace
26:47through faith.
26:49That's right.
26:49Nevertheless,
26:51it was...
26:52They didn't know
26:53the word,
26:53but because their words
26:54that they spoke out,
26:55their faith
26:56that they expressed
26:57through their mouths
26:58and through their actions
27:00lined up
27:01with the word of God,
27:02that's the key word.
27:03Bam.
27:03God performed it.
27:05That's the key word.
27:06The key word
27:07for breakthrough.
27:09The key word
27:09for God answering prayer.
27:11And I'm not just
27:12talking about sickness.
27:12I'm not just talking
27:13about marriage.
27:14I'm talking about everything.
27:16Health, finance,
27:17everything.
27:17The key word
27:18for breakthrough,
27:20right,
27:20is this.
27:22As long as it's aligned
27:23with the word of God,
27:24according to God's word,
27:28you're sure,
27:29you're sure
27:30that it is yes and amen,
27:31right?
27:32Let's go.
27:32Open your Bible to...
27:34If you have your Bible
27:35right now,
27:35open it to 2 Kings 8,
27:373 to 6.
27:38Okay.
27:392 Kings 8,
27:403 to 6
27:41is the story
27:42of the king restores
27:43the Shunammite woman's land.
27:46The king restores
27:47the Shunammite woman's land.
27:49All right.
27:49At the end
27:50of the seven years,
27:51the woman returned
27:52from the land
27:53of the Philistines
27:54and she went
27:55to appeal to the king
27:56for her house
27:57and land.
27:57The king talked
27:59with Gehazi,
28:00the servant
28:00of the man of God,
28:02Elisha,
28:03saying,
28:04Tell me
28:05all the great things
28:06Elisha has done.
28:08And as Gehazi
28:09was telling the king
28:10how Elisha
28:11had restored
28:12the dead
28:12to life,
28:13behold,
28:14the woman
28:15whose son
28:16he had restored
28:17to life
28:17appealed
28:18to the king
28:20for her house
28:21and land.
28:22And Gehazi said,
28:24My lord,
28:25O king,
28:25this is the woman
28:26and this is her son
28:27whom Elisha
28:28brought back to life.
28:29When the king
28:30asked the woman,
28:31she told him.
28:32So the king
28:32appointed to her
28:34a certain officer
28:35saying,
28:35Restore
28:36all that was hers
28:37and all the fruits
28:39of the field
28:40since the day
28:41that she left
28:41the land
28:42even until now.
28:44Amen.
28:45So,
28:46I mean,
28:46this is quite
28:47straightforward,
28:48but the king
28:49heard the testimony
28:51of the woman's son.
28:52The king heard what?
28:54The testimony
28:54of the woman's sons
28:56being raised
28:57from the dead.
28:58You know,
28:58when you hear
28:59testimony,
29:00I mean,
29:01we don't have time
29:02to go in all aspects
29:03of it,
29:04so it's really,
29:06how do you call it,
29:06a big amount
29:08which is not too
29:09detailed for testimony.
29:10More like an introduction.
29:12Yeah,
29:12more like an introduction
29:13because it is more.
29:14Testimony brings
29:15for favor as well.
29:16That's another topic
29:16for it.
29:17But anyway,
29:18but you see
29:18a snippet of it here.
29:20So the king heard
29:20the testimony
29:21of the woman's son
29:22raised from the dead.
29:24What did he see?
29:25He saw God's word
29:26in the testimony.
29:28What did he saw
29:29God's word?
29:29He saw God
29:30restore life
29:31to her son.
29:32And what did he do
29:33in turn?
29:34He restored her wealth
29:35back to her
29:36and much more.
29:39Testimony,
29:40again,
29:40a small snippet,
29:41actually can bring
29:43open doors,
29:44can bring for favor.
29:45Let's continue.
29:46Now we're going to,
29:47I'm going to give you
29:49another example,
29:50but this time
29:50in the New Testament,
29:52right?
29:52So we're going to read
29:53on Luke 7.
29:55Do you want to read that?
29:56Luke 7,
29:56verse 3,
29:58Amplified Classic.
29:58This is a story
29:59where Jesus heals
30:00a centurion's servant.
30:02So Jesus heals
30:03a centurion's servant.
30:05And when the centurion
30:06heard of Jesus,
30:08he sent some Jewish
30:09elders to him,
30:10requesting him
30:10to come
30:11and make his bond
30:12servant well.
30:14So what did we hear
30:15that?
30:15When the centurion
30:17heard of Jesus.
30:19Here the word
30:20heard means
30:20he heard
30:22what Jesus
30:23have done.
30:24So what is it?
30:25He heard the testimony
30:26of what Jesus
30:28has performed,
30:29has done.
30:30That's when
30:31he sent
30:32some Jewish elders,
30:34I mean,
30:35I won't go too
30:35detail why
30:36the Jewish elders
30:37and all that,
30:37to him,
30:38requesting,
30:39right,
30:40help for his
30:41bond servant,
30:41right?
30:43Because he heard,
30:44in another word,
30:45he heard the testimony
30:46of what Jesus
30:47has done.
30:48Now Luke 7, 7.
30:49Luke 7, 7.
30:51Same story still.
30:53Neither did I
30:54consider myself
30:55worthy to come
30:56to you,
30:56but just speak
30:57a word
30:58and my servant
30:59boy will be healed.
31:00So here,
31:01Jesus was on a way
31:02like really close
31:03to the house
31:05of the centurion
31:06and he sent
31:07some of his friends,
31:09like George said,
31:10I'm reading
31:11from the
31:11NKJV version.
31:12Therefore,
31:13I did not
31:13even think
31:14myself worthy
31:15to come to you,
31:16but say the word
31:17and my servant
31:18will be healed.
31:20What did he say?
31:20Say the word,
31:24right?
31:24That's a key point,
31:25the word of God.
31:26Say the word.
31:27So say the word
31:29and it will happen.
31:30Say the word.
31:31So he heard
31:31the testimony,
31:32right?
31:33And then he says
31:34to Jesus,
31:34say the word,
31:35you don't even
31:35have to come there
31:36because what?
31:37It involved faith
31:38again,
31:39again in everything
31:40because without faith
31:40you can't please God,
31:41right?
31:42So it involved faith.
31:43But what you see
31:45in that is
31:46the word of God
31:48in the testimony,
31:49right?
31:50Let me seal it
31:51with a cross reference.
31:53If you can hear
31:54that story
31:55in Matthew,
31:56you can read it
31:57and study about it.
31:58In Matthew 8,
31:595 to 9 as well.
32:01Matthew 8,
32:015 to 9.
32:03And I'm going to be
32:04reading it to you guys
32:05so that you get
32:05the whole picture
32:06of what Sabrina
32:07was trying to say
32:08and what we've
32:08been talking about.
32:09So as Jesus
32:10went into Capernaum,
32:12a centurion came up
32:13to him begging him
32:14and saying,
32:14Lord,
32:15my servant boy
32:15is lying at the house
32:17paralyzed.
32:18Now here it says
32:18a centurion came up
32:19to him.
32:20But obviously
32:21this is
32:23Matthew's way
32:24of explaining.
32:26It doesn't necessarily
32:27mean that it was
32:28the centurion
32:29because we just read
32:30before that he sent
32:31people.
32:32Say when it says
32:33a centurion came up
32:34to him,
32:35it's saying
32:35the representatives
32:36of that centurion.
32:38Came up to him
32:39saying,
32:39Lord,
32:39my servant boy
32:40is lying at the house
32:41paralyzed and distressed
32:43with intense pains.
32:44And Jesus said to him,
32:45I will come and restore him.
32:47But the centurion replied
32:48to him,
32:49Lord,
32:49I am not worthy
32:50or fit
32:51to have you come
32:52under my roof,
32:53but only speak the word.
32:55The word.
32:56That's right.
32:57How did he know
32:58that if he only spoke
32:59the word,
33:00that would be enough
33:01because he had
33:02her testimonies
33:04he had her testimony
33:06of Jesus.
33:07That's right.
33:08So he knew
33:08that was enough.
33:10Only speak the word
33:11and my servant boy
33:12will be cured.
33:13For I also
33:14am a man
33:15subject to authority
33:16with soldiers
33:17subject to me.
33:18And I say to one,
33:19go,
33:19and he goes.
33:20And to another,
33:21come,
33:21and he comes.
33:22And to my slave,
33:23do this,
33:23and he does it.
33:24Why?
33:25Because the word of God
33:26has authority.
33:27Like the scripture
33:29he just read,
33:30right?
33:31The word of God
33:32has authority.
33:33Even in the testimony
33:34when you hear
33:35the word of God,
33:36you see.
33:37That's the cool thing
33:38about testimony.
33:39When you hear
33:39the word of God,
33:40you see,
33:41you hear the authority
33:44that has given victory
33:47over the situation
33:49because that's what
33:49a testimony is.
33:51It showed the victory,
33:53all right,
33:53of the word of God
33:54over the enemy,
33:55over the situation
33:58you went through.
33:58So the authority
34:00of the word of God
34:01over the situation.
34:02You see the authority
34:03of the word of God
34:05over cancer,
34:06like by your strap
34:07I am healed.
34:08You know what I mean?
34:09You see the authority
34:10of God
34:11over the testimony
34:12of someone saying
34:12that we had
34:13lots of testimony
34:14where,
34:14we even had testimony
34:15where money multiplied,
34:18right?
34:19And the same money
34:21we counted
34:21after praying
34:22and stuff,
34:23it multiplied,
34:23it doubled up,
34:24right?
34:25Yeah,
34:25you see,
34:26you know,
34:26God says that
34:26you're a couple overflow,
34:28right?
34:28You get,
34:29you see,
34:30you see the word
34:31of God,
34:31the authority
34:32of the word of God
34:33in those testimony.
34:34So how do you receive
34:37testimony
34:38when you hear it,
34:39right?
34:40First,
34:42look for the word
34:43of God in it.
34:44When you hear a testimony,
34:45look for the word
34:46of God.
34:47Declare the word
34:48of God
34:48over your situation.
34:50Second,
34:51and third,
34:51praise God
34:52that his word
34:53is yes and amen.
34:54Why do I say praise?
34:55Just like we were
34:56giving an example
34:56of his grandma
34:59and it's only
35:00when she
35:01let go
35:02of that prayer,
35:03let go of that word
35:04and it's set into her
35:05that way she feels like,
35:06oh,
35:07I know God has received it,
35:08right?
35:09That's when it clicked.
35:10That's when something happened
35:12because she wasn't kept,
35:13she didn't keep,
35:14kept holding onto that,
35:15right?
35:16It's funny,
35:16it's funny because I do,
35:18I don't recall,
35:20now that we're talking
35:21about it,
35:21I don't recall her doing,
35:23like praying for something
35:25and then doing what,
35:27especially in the Pentecostal circles,
35:29what we usually do,
35:30we pray for something
35:31and then out of fear
35:33and the next day
35:33we're praying for it again.
35:34Again and again.
35:34And then we keep praying
35:35for it again.
35:36We don't release it.
35:37No,
35:37you've already prayed for it.
35:38That's right.
35:38It's already been released to God.
35:40Now it's time for you
35:40to make the declaration,
35:42the thankfulness,
35:43the thanksgiving.
35:44She used to do that.
35:46So when my mom
35:46would bring things up
35:47or my dad
35:48or anybody
35:48would bring things up,
35:49she'll just go,
35:50don't worry,
35:51God is going to answer.
35:52That's right.
35:52God got my way.
35:53She already knew
35:54that something had to happen.
35:55Something was going to happen.
35:57It's pretty cool.
35:58You know,
35:58like I've given testimony about,
36:00I mean,
36:01again,
36:01I say I have a book
36:02of full testimony.
36:03You just name the subject
36:04and I'll tell you
36:04how cool my God is.
36:06Right?
36:06And it's the same thing.
36:08It's not wishful thinking
36:10when it's according
36:12to the Word of God.
36:13You have to remember
36:13it has to be according
36:14to the Word of God.
36:16Then,
36:16yes,
36:16it will come to pass
36:17without fault
36:17because he watched
36:18over his Word.
36:19If you're having
36:20wishful thinking
36:21and you're going to keep
36:21repeating wishful thinking,
36:23first of all,
36:24God won't answer you.
36:26Right?
36:26If you're asking,
36:27why is my prayer
36:27not being answered?
36:28First of all,
36:29look,
36:30assess if your prayer
36:31is according
36:32to the Word of God.
36:33Right?
36:34Then,
36:35exercise that authority
36:37that God has given you.
36:38Right?
36:38With his Word
36:39because we are cohere
36:40in Christ Jesus.
36:41Then,
36:42right,
36:43declare it.
36:44Keep declaring it
36:44that you see yourself
36:45already in that victory.
36:46and then praising him
36:48for that victory.
36:49Amen?
36:49So,
36:50these are the practical
36:51point for it.
36:52I love what John Calvin
36:53once said.
36:54Scripture will ultimately
36:57suffice for a saving
37:00knowledge of God
37:01only when its certainty
37:03is founded upon the
37:04inward persuasion
37:06of the Holy Spirit.
37:08Indeed,
37:08these human testimonies
37:10which exist
37:11to confirm it
37:13will not be in vain.
37:15if our secondary
37:17aids to our feebleness
37:19they follow
37:20the chief
37:20and highest testimony.
37:23But those
37:23who wish to prove
37:24to unbelievers
37:25that Scripture
37:26is the Word of God
37:27are acting foolishly
37:28for only by faith
37:30can this be known.
37:32So,
37:33thinking out loud now,
37:34this is not something
37:35I planned,
37:35this is just something
37:36I was thinking out loud now.
37:38If you were to put that
37:39into a simple
37:41couple of words,
37:42a few words,
37:43not a couple,
37:44a few words,
37:45the heart
37:46of testimony
37:48is
37:50to get us
37:51to know Him
37:53and to get us
37:54to make Him known.
37:55That's right.
37:56So,
37:57to get us
37:58to know Him,
38:00Jesus,
38:00and to get us
38:02to make Him known.
38:03That is the heart
38:05of testimony.
38:07Amen.
38:07So,
38:08let me leave it
38:08with just a couple
38:09of Bible verses
38:10before we start praying
38:11and whatever the Lord
38:13leads us.
38:14Because,
38:14as I just said now,
38:16that is the purpose,
38:17the heart
38:18of testimony.
38:19We need to
38:19not forget
38:21that there is a purpose.
38:23It's purposeful.
38:25Testimony is purposeful.
38:26That's right.
38:27Everything God does
38:28is with purpose.
38:29So,
38:30Psalm 66,
38:3116,
38:32Come and hear,
38:33all you who reverently
38:35and worshipfully
38:37fear God,
38:38and I will declare
38:39what He has done for me.
38:40Again,
38:41I will declare what?
38:42What He has done for me.
38:44That's right.
38:44Revelation 12,
38:45verse 11,
38:46And they have overcome,
38:48conquered Him
38:49by means of the blood
38:50of the Lamb
38:50and by the utterance
38:52of their testimony.
38:53For they did not love
38:54and cling to life
38:55even when faced with death,
38:58holding their lives cheap
38:58till they had to die
39:00for their witnessing.
39:02John 5,
39:0334,
39:03But I do not receive
39:05a mere human witness.
39:06The evidence
39:07which I accept
39:08on my behalf
39:09is not from men.
39:10That's right.
39:10But I simply mention
39:11all these things
39:12in order that you may be saved,
39:14made kept safe
39:16and sound.
39:17And finally,
39:181 John 5,
39:1811,
39:191 John 5,
39:2011,
39:20and this is that testimony,
39:22that evidence.
39:24God gave us
39:25eternal life
39:26and this life
39:27is in His Son.
39:29Amen.
39:30Amen?
39:31Amen.
39:31Amen.
39:32Alright,
39:32before we pray,
39:33I want to give a chance
39:35to those that are listening,
39:36especially those
39:37that are new here today.
39:39Because if you're new here today
39:41and you don't know Jesus that way,
39:43you don't know
39:43the purpose that God has
39:45for your life,
39:46this is the moment.
39:47This is a divine appointment.
39:49It's not a coincidence
39:50that you are here.
39:51Maybe you're listening
39:52to this live.
39:53Maybe you'll listen to it
39:54in a couple of hours,
39:54a couple of days,
39:55a couple of weeks,
39:56a couple of months,
39:56whatever,
39:57years.
39:57It doesn't matter.
39:58God is not limited by time
40:00or space
40:01or wherever you may be
40:02or even language.
40:03He's not limited by that.
40:05You could watch this video.
40:06It's happened before.
40:08In English.
40:08I'm speaking in English right now
40:10and you could hear it in Portuguese.
40:11You could hear it in Chinese.
40:12whatever it is,
40:13whatever the Lord decides to do.
40:16He can do anything
40:17and everything.
40:18So,
40:19what do you need to do?
40:20How do you make Him
40:21your Lord and Savior?
40:22It's very simple.
40:23Romans 10,
40:249-10
40:25tells us
40:26that if you confess
40:27with your mouth
40:28the Lord Jesus,
40:29confess means declare
40:30with your mouth
40:31the Lord Jesus
40:32and believe in your heart
40:33that God has raised Him
40:34from the dead,
40:35you will be saved.
40:36For with the heart,
40:37one believes unto righteousness
40:39and with the mouth,
40:40confession is made unto salvation.
40:41And we're going to do that together
40:43in a minute.
40:44But it doesn't end there.
40:45It goes on to say
40:47in His Word,
40:47Titus 3,
40:48verse 5,
40:51then He saved us.
40:52So,
40:52you declare Jesus
40:54your Lord and Savior
40:56and believe in your heart
40:57that God raised Him
40:58from the dead,
40:58you get saved,
40:59but then,
41:00not because you were good enough
41:02to be saved,
41:02but because of His grace,
41:04His mercy,
41:04His love,
41:05by washing away our sins.
41:07Now,
41:08again,
41:08I know when people hear sins,
41:10it's been so misunderstood,
41:11so miscommunicated
41:12throughout the years
41:13that the world has this fear of,
41:16oh,
41:17sin is a dirty word
41:18and you're judging me,
41:20brother,
41:20and all this sort of stuff.
41:21But sin,
41:22in the most simplistic definition,
41:24is when we try to live
41:25our lives without God.
41:26We were made by a loving creator,
41:28a perfect creator,
41:29and He's made us in His image.
41:31We are the only creation
41:32that's been made in His image.
41:33That's amazing.
41:34That shows us how much price,
41:37how much affection,
41:39how much divine love
41:41He has for us,
41:42how much purpose He has for us,
41:44that we are the only ones
41:46created in His image.
41:46We are His most prized possession,
41:48as Ephesians 2.10 tells us.
41:50He washes away our sins,
41:53and then He gives us
41:54the new joy
41:55of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
41:56What does that mean?
41:57He sends His very Spirit,
41:59Holy Spirit,
42:00God Himself,
42:01will come down
42:02and live inside of us,
42:04we become His temple,
42:05His synagogue,
42:06His church,
42:07His dwelling place,
42:08His home,
42:08where He resides,
42:09where He will comfort us,
42:11correct us,
42:13discipline us,
42:14teach us,
42:15love us,
42:17be there for us,
42:19and guide us throughout life.
42:21He will be with us
42:22at all times.
42:23He never leaves us.
42:24Not even when we decide,
42:26after getting saved,
42:27we decide to stuff up again
42:28and sin
42:29and do something intentionally bad.
42:31He will never leave us again.
42:34This is your moment.
42:35We're going to do this together.
42:36You can repeat after me.
42:38Not that it's a generic prayer.
42:39I'm not telling you to repeat
42:40a generic prayer.
42:42But if you feel more comfortable
42:43repeating,
42:44you can do that.
42:44Otherwise,
42:45you can do it yourself.
42:45Because at the end of the day,
42:47the heart of the matter
42:48is the matter of the heart.
42:50So as you heard in Romans,
42:52that you cry out with your mouth.
42:54We're going to do that together.
42:55Amen?
42:55All right,
42:56let's do it.
42:58Lord,
42:58thank you for this privilege,
42:59for this honor to pray
43:00with my brother and my sister.
43:01In the mighty name of Jesus,
43:03we thank you
43:03that you always hear
43:04the words of your people,
43:06of your children.
43:07In Jesus' name.
43:08Now you can repeat after me
43:10if you want.
43:11From this day forward,
43:14Lord Jesus,
43:15I make you my Lord and Savior.
43:18Wash me clean
43:19of all the sin.
43:22Make me a new creation.
43:25Today,
43:26I choose to believe
43:27that God raised you
43:29from the dead
43:31in my place.
43:34And you rose again
43:35after three days,
43:38victorious over the curse
43:40of sin and death.
43:42And together with you,
43:44Jesus,
43:44we are co-heirs
43:47of the kingdom of God.
43:49We are victorious
43:51and we are new creations
43:54in Christ Jesus.
43:57Use my life for your glory.
43:59In Jesus' name.
44:02Amen and amen.
44:03Lord,
44:04right now as they watch,
44:06as they listen,
44:07Lord,
44:07in your word it says
44:09that Jesus spoke to his disciples
44:11that he breathed
44:12the breath of life over them.
44:14And he said,
44:15receive the Holy Spirit.
44:17That's right.
44:17So in the mighty name of Jesus,
44:18we say,
44:19Lord,
44:20let your fire fall.
44:22That's right.
44:23Let the baptism
44:24of the Holy Spirit
44:25and fire
44:25fall upon us afresh.
44:27Yes,
44:27Lord.
44:29Fall upon us
44:30in Jesus' name.
44:33Amen.
44:35Glory to God.
44:36Hallelujah.
44:38I kind of learned it.
