00:00Valentina, cosa succede?
00:02What's going on?
00:04I need help!
00:06Are you ok?
00:13And we should be working together,
00:14like Batman and Robin!
00:16You can even be Batman!
00:20You already sound like him.
00:21I'm gonna make you pay for that.
00:23Hi, nice to see you. I'm Valentina from Italy, movie player.
00:26Hi.
00:26Hi Valentina, how are you?
00:29Fine.
00:30So, kudos to you for choosing the toughest role of this show.
00:36It's true, thank you.
00:39And in this season Paul says that you can't escape from your past forever.
00:45Do you agree with him?
00:46And how can we find the courage to face our past, in your opinion?
00:50I think I do agree with him.
00:52I sort of think of life like there's levels,
00:57like as in almost like a computer game.
00:59And if you keep ignoring...
01:01You find it, I find it, I'm sure you find it.
01:04Something will come up, some particular problem.
01:06And you can ignore it and deal with it and move past it.
01:09But it will keep coming back in a different form.
01:11It will keep coming back until you defeat that problem.
01:15You know what I mean?
01:15And then you move up a level.
01:17I kind of think the same things keep popping up in your life.
01:21And what was the second part of the question?
01:23How can we find the courage to face our past?
01:26Oh.
01:26It's not easy.
01:27Yeah, it's not easy.
01:28I don't know if I am an expert on that because I still have the same problems.
01:33But I think in the end, you have to try and be brave and hope that if you can...
01:44It's very difficult.
01:45I think you have to try and lead from your heart and go tell the truth and hope that you
01:53will be able to move past it.
01:56I don't know if I'm the expert though because I may be in the same position as you.
02:03Yeah.
02:03In this season, also Jimmy and Paul say that they are almost like Batman and Robin.
02:11In the first season, Paul says, who are we? Psychological vigilantes.
02:15So, in your opinion, are they the Batman and Robin of mental health?
02:21That's a great callback.
02:26Yeah.
02:26I mean, I think what we're constantly playing with, and it continues through the season,
02:31is, you know, Jimmy keeps saying, we're not so different, you and I. We're the same.
02:37We're cut from the same plot.
02:38And I think that the more we explore it, there is a lot of truth in that.
02:43But some of that is bad.
02:44Some of the bad qualities that Jimmy has, Paul also has.
02:48And so, yeah, I think they're certainly, I suppose they are like Batman and Robin, depending
02:59on which era you're looking at.
03:02And in the first season, also Paul says that two vulnerable people will always find a way to connect.
03:10Do you believe it's true? And how can we find the courage to open to other people? Because again, it's
03:15not so easy.
03:17Valentina, what's happening? What's going on? Are you okay?
03:21I need help for you.
03:23Are you okay?
03:26Valentina, I think we have the same issue. I don't know.
03:29I think you have to, listen. I think you have to, here's what I really think.
03:37Listen to your gut in terms of, is the person that you are talking to a safe space?
03:42And if they are a safe space, then you can be brave and open up to them and know that
03:48you will be held by them
03:50and they won't be disgusted by your vulnerability. But don't just do that to anyone because some people are not
03:58the right person to open up to.
04:00Does that help your current situation?
04:02Thank you so much for this therapy session.
04:05Thank you so much.
04:05Thank you, Valentina. I think we've done very well. We've made great progress.
04:09Thank you so much. Great job.
04:29Thank you.
