00:19Stay tuned after this episode to find out how you can join Mary-Kate and Ashley's official fan club.
00:39It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.
00:44Actually, it was bedtime when our great-grandmother would read us stories of mystery and suspense.
00:52It was then that we decided to be detectives.
00:55The story you are about to see is one of the cases from the files of the Olsen & Olsen
01:03Mystery Agency.
01:13We'll get it!
01:16Olsen & Olsen Mystery Agency!
01:19We solve any crime by dinner time. Or else.
01:22Or else we have to go home for dinner.
01:30Who stole the Great Hope Diamond?
01:33What killed the dinosaurs?
01:35Who makes the finest pizza?
01:38What's in your brother's dress or drawers?
01:43Mysteries of life screaming to be solved.
01:47Here we stand in our trench coat, dying to get involved.
01:57We're super duper snoopers, first class private allies.
02:02Figure outers, clearer uppers, mistresses of disguise.
02:08We've got the know-how. We've got the knack. Now all we need is a case to crack.
02:13We're two super duper snoopers. Give us a mystery.
02:19We need a mystery!
02:23It all started on a warm spring afternoon.
02:28As usual, we caught the 325 bus home from school.
02:33Bye-bye!
02:34The Big Yellow Ugly was packed with kids, just trying to make it to summer vacation.
02:41We'd already put in 8 long hours of reading, writing, and recess, but our real work was just about to
02:49begin.
02:51Most kids would have called this a long day.
02:55We just called it the detective business.
03:00Back in our office, really the attic of our house, we checked for messages and got down to work.
03:06We were tackling the usual cases.
03:10Where does Bigfoot buy his sneakers?
03:13And who took a bite out of Penny Peterson's peanut butter sandwich?
03:19When people have to solve a mystery before it's history, they call us.
03:25My name's Ashley.
03:27My partner is Mary Kate.
03:29And that's our silent partner, Clue.
03:31We're the Olsen and Olsen Mystery Agency.
03:35We do it all!
03:37Puzzles, riddles, secrets, mysteries.
03:40You got them!
03:41We solve them!
03:42And our work never ends!
03:44Who stole the Great Hope Diamond?
03:47What killed the dinosaurs?
03:49Who makes the finest pizza?
03:52What's in your brother's dresser drawers?
03:57Mysteries of life!
03:59Screaming to be solved!
04:02Here we stand in our trench coat.
04:05Dying to get involved!
04:12We're super duper snoopers.
04:15First class private eyes.
04:17Figure out ours.
04:19Clearer uppers.
04:20Mistress of disguise.
04:22We've got the know-how.
04:24We've got the knack.
04:25Now all we need's a case to crack.
04:27We're two super duper snoopers.
04:30Give us a mystery.
04:35What is the Loch Ness Monster?
04:38What is a cherry on top?
04:40Where is Amelia Earhart?
04:43Who put the bop in the bop-shoe-bop-shoe-bop-shoe-bop-shoe-bop?
04:46Are tomatoes a veggie or a fruit?
04:49Who is in that Barney suit to find out why or how?
04:53Call who?
04:55Us.
04:55When?
04:56Now!
04:59We're super duper snoopers.
05:02First class private eyes.
05:04Figure out ours.
05:05Clearer uppers.
05:07Mistress of disguise.
05:09We've got the know-how.
05:11We've got the knack.
05:12Now all we need's a case to crack.
05:14We're two super duper snoopers.
05:17Give us a mystery.
05:19Give us a thing that makes no sense.
05:22Look at us gather evidence.
05:24A fingerprint.
05:26A ball of lint.
05:27This light's aroma of peppermint.
05:29A clear mouth soap.
05:30A sand of rope.
05:32Throw it beneath a microscope.
05:35Let's see.
05:36What could it be?
05:37Suddenly.
05:38Aha!
05:39We're super duper snoopers.
05:42First class private eyes.
05:44Figure out ours.
05:46Clearer uppers.
05:47Mistress of disguise.
05:49We've got the gear and everything.
05:52Now if the phone would only ring.
05:54We're two super duper snoopers.
05:57Give us a mystery.
05:59Whoa!
06:00Give us a mystery.
06:01Oh yeah!
06:02Give us a mystery.
06:06We need a mystery.
06:11Olsen and Olsen Mystery Agency.
06:14We'll solve any crime by dinner time.
06:17This is Miss Audrey C. Busybody.
06:20Go ahead Miss Busybody.
06:22I live on Black Widow Lane.
06:24Just across the street from the old Thorn Mansion.
06:27And yesterday I saw something quite strange.
06:30It looked like a ghost.
06:31We love ghost mysteries.
06:33Oh, as I was saying, the old Thorn Mansion is abandoned.
06:37That means no one lives there.
06:39We know that.
06:40I saw shimmering lights coming from the front windows.
06:44Shimmering lights?
06:45Coming from an abandoned mansion?
06:48Say no more, we're on our way.
06:49Uh, where exactly is Thorn Mansion?
06:53Transylvania, of course.
06:58Transylvania?
07:00We consulted our trusty Atlas and found out that Transylvania was exactly 9,000 miles from our attic.
07:10We packed up some of our detective gear, finished our homework, fed the goldfish, washed glue, and hit the pavement.
07:24Only one small itsy bitsy thing stood in our way.
07:29Can I come with you guys?
07:31There we were, stopped dead in our tracks by our little sister Lizzie.
07:36Listen Lizzie, we've got a job to do.
07:39A job for big kids.
07:40But what are my jobs, Little?
07:43You wanna come too?
07:44We know you do.
07:45And maybe someday you will.
07:48She wants to come now.
07:49No way, no how.
07:51Sorry.
07:51Negative still.
07:53Why not?
07:53Why not?
07:54Let's see.
07:55Why not?
07:56Lizzie, baby.
07:58We'd rather you weren't alone today.
08:00But shouldn't we tell her why?
08:03We'd just rather you weren't, okay?
08:05Now back off and say goodbye.
08:07We'd rather be picked up by a twister.
08:11Attacked along after by a sister.
08:13We'd rather eat french fried garden snails.
08:16We'd rather lose all our fingernails.
08:18Or bathe in a pool of slime.
08:21Hasta vista.
08:22Maybe some other time.
08:26B-U-T-T out.
08:28B-U-T-T out.
08:30Turn your tiny frame about.
08:33And B-U-T-T out.
08:35You better, you better, you better, you better.
08:38B-U-T-T out.
08:40It's not that it makes sense gag to drag.
08:43A tag along Totten Toe.
08:45It's not that you embarrass us.
08:48In front of everyone we know.
08:50It's not that you're such a snot nose rat.
08:53It's not that you're nosy.
08:55It's not that you're rat.
08:56Although that may be true.
08:58It's just this mission is dangerous.
09:00And we care so much for you.
09:02So B-U-T-T out.
09:05B-U-T-T out.
09:08You better not cry.
09:09You better not bow.
09:11You better just turn your butt about.
09:13And B-U-T-T out.
09:16You better, you better, you better, you better.
09:18B-U-T-T out.
09:21Beat it.
09:21Am straight.
09:22Hit the highway.
09:23See ya.
09:24Ciao.
09:24Vamoose.
09:26Ta-ta.
09:26Buzza.
09:27Later.
09:27Get lost.
09:28Vanish.
09:29Oh.
09:29Reduce.
09:31You're gonna, you're gonna, she ain't gonna wanna.
09:33B-U-T-T out.
09:36You're gonna, you're gonna, she ain't gonna wanna.
09:39B-U-T-T out.
09:41Lizzy, you just can't come today.
09:43Maybe next time.
09:44We'll see.
09:45Maybe a year from this coming May.
09:48Or maybe next century.
09:50It's not that you might be out of place.
09:53It's not that we just can't stand your face
09:55Or that you're not in the human race
09:58It's just that you're too young
10:00B-I-Sweet T
10:02B-U-T-T
10:03B-U-T-T out
10:05E-U-Z-T
10:07B-U-T-T
10:08B-U-T-T out
10:10Phone homie T
10:12Go homie T
10:13B-U-T-T out
10:15Take a hint
10:17Take a hike
10:18B-U-T-T out
10:20You better, you better, you better
10:23You better B-U-T-T out
10:25B-U-T-T out
10:28After a few kind words
10:30Fetched to music
10:31We finally convinced Lizzie to stay behind
10:36Using our atlas
10:37We had mapped out the shortest way to Transylvania
10:41We headed across America
10:44Skipped across the Atlantic Ocean
10:47And breezed through Europe
10:51Most of the trip was uphill
10:53But we still made it there in about 20 minutes
11:00We stashed our bikes at the end of Black Widow Lane
11:03And headed up the long, gloomy hill
11:06To Thorn Mansion
11:08Are you afraid?
11:09Nah, I'm not afraid
11:14Old man Thorn went toes up years ago
11:17And it looked like no one had set foot in the place since
11:20Are you afraid?
11:22No, I'm not afraid
11:26It seemed like the front steps went on and on forever
11:32But then, who's in a hurry to meet up with the ghost?
11:35Are you afraid?
11:37No, I'm not too afraid
11:40The last few steps were the scariest of all
11:49It's locked
11:51Of course it is
11:53No one lives here
11:54Except maybe a ghost
11:58We took a moment to analyze the situation
12:03Maybe there weren't any shimmering lights
12:06Maybe there wasn't a ghost
12:08Maybe there wasn't even a mystery
12:11Maybe we could go home
12:13But maybe not
12:35Did you see?
12:37Don't tell me you're afraid of a little ghost
12:39No, I'm not afraid of a little ghost
12:43I'm not afraid either
12:44Why not?
12:46Because I have bravery
12:48I have bravery too
12:50I think
13:00I've given up my nightlight
13:02Cause I'm not scared of the dark
13:04I've tasted buttermilk
13:06Sat through Jurassic Park
13:08I've taken off my training wheels
13:11Used adult shampoo
13:12Sometimes there's no limit
13:14To the scary things I'll do
13:18I don't hide in the closet
13:20When I hear a thunder clap
13:22I've dumped my head in water
13:24I've sat on Santa's lap
13:26I never bet an eye
13:28When I get my measles shot
13:30So when things get real scary
13:32It's a good thing that I've got bravery
13:36It's a good thing that I've got bravery
13:38I'm loaded with bravery
13:40When I'm in a pinch
13:43I don't even flinch
13:45I'm cool and I'm calm
13:49Bravery
13:50I'm brimming with bravery
13:54I'm always prepared
13:57And if I'm still scared
14:00I get my mom
14:07First day at kindergarten
14:09Others might have walked
14:11I sat and played with Legos
14:14At nap time I just slept
14:15I climbed the tallest jungle gyms
14:18Slide the biggest slides
14:20When I go to Disney World
14:22I ride the biggest ride
14:25That's Friday at assembly
14:27In front of the whole school
14:29I played a singing carriage
14:32And didn't lose my cool
14:33I hopped out on that stage
14:36And sang out clear and strong
14:38In sticky situations
14:40I always bring along
14:43Bravery
14:44Three tears for bravery
14:48This sight of a ghost
14:51Won't turn me to toast
14:52I'm better than that
14:56Bravery
14:57I'm brimming with bravery
15:01But if I despair
15:04And mom isn't there
15:06There's always dad
15:11Wavery
15:12When my knees get wavery
15:16My heart's in my mouth
15:19My nerve's heading south
15:21And I've got the shakes
15:25Bravery
15:26Bravery
15:27When my voice gets
15:28Cravery
15:30I suck in my gut
15:33I'm lean and I'm mean
15:34I swagger and strut
15:36A pretty marine
15:41Left, right, right, right
15:43I left the jitters behind
15:46Bravery
15:47Three tears for bravery
15:51You won't see us clutch
15:53When we're in the trench
15:55Or when things get hairy
15:59Bravery
16:01Let's hear it for bravery
16:05We're so full of bravery
16:08It's scary
16:11It's scary
16:15It's scary
16:18Anybody home?
16:22The front door was mysteriously unlocked
16:34This was a place only a ghost could love
16:38Don't move
16:40We're carrying Ghost Stopper
16:42That's mom's perfume
16:44Shhh
16:46The ghost doesn't know that
16:48Oh
16:48Now I feel safe
16:50Come on
16:51Let's go
17:00Shhh
17:01Now what?
17:03Listen
17:04Uh oh
17:06The sounds we heard could make your skin crawl
17:11And your hair stand on end
17:13No human can make such strange noises
17:18And the sounds were coming closer
17:21And the sounds were coming closer
17:23And the sounds were coming closer
17:29Suddenly the whole room was filled with shimmering lights
17:37Ghost fog
17:40Traditionally ghosts like to bring along their own cloud of fog wherever they go
17:46It helps make them scary
18:03That was close
18:04It's coming back
18:09We didn't think the ghost saw us
18:12Although we couldn't be sure where it was looking
18:15Because it didn't have a head
18:17Let's get out of here
18:20Let's get out of here
18:21Ah
18:22Ah
18:23Ah
18:24What are you doing?
18:25I can't move
18:27My feet are stuck
18:28I can't move
18:36It's locked
18:40The ghost was coming back
18:42The ghost was coming back
18:42So we did what all good detectives do
18:45Find the place to hide
18:54This is one weird mansion
18:56That is one weird ghost
19:04We decided to look around and discovered we were in the library of the mansion.
19:10What's this?
19:12Ghost goo.
19:14Ghost goo?
19:15The same stuff that stuck to my shoes.
19:18Ew.
19:19As experienced detectives, we knew that ghosts leave a trail of goo wherever they go.
19:27Kind of like our dog, Lou.
19:29Before she was housebroken.
19:32Resting in these containers, the ghost goo was harmless.
19:37But we had to find out who put the goo in these jars and why.
19:44Whoever it was, was into some pretty heavy reading material.
19:50Apiary cultivation.
19:52History of entomology.
19:55Anthropology.
19:56Archaeology.
19:57Sociology.
19:58Zoology.
20:00Pantheology.
20:02What's that?
20:04Seismology.
20:06Beats me.
20:07Rheumatology.
20:09Radiology.
20:11Musicology.
20:14Musicology.
20:15Play that funky, funky, funky, funky musicology.
20:19Play it on your radiating radiology.
20:23Hell, I love it, love it, love it.
20:25Gautionology.
20:26Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
20:28I have that funky musicology.
20:33Now when I wear a pair of pantheology.
20:37I like the extra, extra large seismology.
20:41Which means a lot, a lot of rheumatology.
20:44But when I'm dancing to that funky musicology.
20:48Play that funky, funky, funky musicology.
20:51Play it on your radiating radiology.
20:54Oh, I love it, love it, love it.
20:57Gautionology.
20:58Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
21:00I have that funky musicology.
21:02Yow!
21:06Greek mythology.
21:07Now that I understand.
21:09Genealogy.
21:10Poop.
21:11Your wish is my command.
21:12What's this?
21:13Phonology?
21:14Something about the phone?
21:16It's theology.
21:17It's...
21:18Leave it alone.
21:20Pharmacology.
21:21Uh-huh.
21:22Etiology.
21:23Okay.
21:24Meteorology?
21:24I like.
21:25Ideology.
21:26Do tell.
21:30Down on old McDonald's.
21:33Pharmacology.
21:34They grow the food that we all eat.
21:37Teology.
21:38Even the meat?
21:39You mean the meteorology?
21:41Frankly, I don't have the slightest.
21:44Ideology.
21:47Santee phraseology.
21:48Rings my bell.
21:51Tricky, tricky, tricky.
21:54Terminology.
21:55Sounds so sweet.
22:06She drove off in her lexicography.
22:10Her fancy suit of autobiography.
22:13But then she ran out of gastroenterology.
22:16Had to buy a tank full with her visa cardiology.
22:21Then she drove her lexicography.
22:24Right into the oceanography.
22:28So she had to hail a taxonomy.
22:31To take her homeopathy.
22:38Play that funky, funky, funky, funky musicology.
22:41Play it on her radiating radiology.
22:45Hell, I love it, love it, love it.
22:47Gosh, a-go-ogy.
22:49Got to, got to have that funky musicology.
22:52Got to, got to have that funky musicology.
22:56Ology, ology, ology, ology, ology.
22:59Hut, hut, hut, book your musicology.
23:03Yow!
23:06Yow!
23:08We had a hunch of these books would help us solve the mystery at Thorn Mansion.
23:14Bees!
23:15Honey!
23:18We were right.
23:20In the library were lots and lots of books about beekeeping and the making of honey.
23:27And once we read all about the bees and the honey, the rest of the mystery became clear.
23:34Old Man Thorn loved honey and kept his own bees and special hives behind his mansion.
23:43So the buzzing sounds we heard were from the bees that still live in those hives.
23:50Listen!
23:52The shimmering light, Miss Busybody thought was a ghost.
23:56It looked like a ghost!
23:58Turned out to be sunlight coming through the back door and then clutching off the crystals in the mansion living
24:04room.
24:06The ghost food that we found in the mansion library was really honey left over from Old Man Thorn's special
24:14stash.
24:16But all good ghost mysteries have one last scary twist.
24:24And ours was no exception.
24:27We discovered, after analyzing all of our clues, that the ghost of Thorn Mansion was really Natasha Thorn.
24:38She was taking care of her grandfather's bees and had to wear special clothes so the bees wouldn't sting her.
24:46It was her clothes that made her look like a ghost.
24:51Ghost fog!
24:53And the ghost fog we saw was really a special smoke that beekeepers use when they work with their bees.
25:02It was Natasha who unlocked the front door.
25:06Hello!
25:07Anybody home?
25:09And she spilled the honey that Ashley stepped in.
25:12My feet are stuck!
25:16We felt great!
25:18We had finally solved the mystery of Thorn Mansion.
25:24And without a second to spare!
25:27It was getting closer and closer to dinner time.
25:31So we had to pedal fast to get home.
25:36Miss Busybody was glad to hear there wasn't a ghost after all.
25:41Just a nice woman who liked bees.
25:46Even though the mystery of Thorn Mansion was solved, our work was never ending.
25:52We were still trying to figure out where Bigfoot got his sneakers.
25:57Who took a bite out of Penny Peterson's peanut butter sandwich.
26:03And of course, we were waiting for the next great adventure to come our way.
