01:25Dent, as Dirk discovered, it seems we are dealing with something drastically different.

01:37This realm pits you against a number of challenges. Make your way by collecting golden balloons.
01:42These unlock doors to four areas. Dino Domain, Sherbet Island, Snowflake Mountain, and Dragon Forest.
01:49Once inside, you'll explore the worlds and race the boss of each one.
01:52If successful, you'll take the silver coin challenge.
01:55Collect all eight coins, and you're one step closer to the ultimate battle with Whizpig.

02:25But even head-to-head in versus mode, players can race different combinations of vehicles.

04:31Banjo the bear, Crunch the alligator, Conker the squirrel, Timber the tiger,

04:44Early reports indicate an arsenal of weapons is being unleashed.
04:47Homing missiles, multi-shot missiles, oil spills, mines.
04:51In some cases, bubbles are even used.
04:54Players may collect shields to protect themselves,
04:56but we've heard that high-powered magnets like this one have already been spotted.
05:00It seems the tensions are already running high among the participants.
05:03This bag of acorns was found shoved into the exhaust system of Crunch's plane.
05:08Right now, all fingers are being pointed squarely at Conker.

05:25Hot Topic has been granted an exclusive interview with two Nintendo insiders
05:29with some startling information concerning Diddy Kong racing.

05:36It lets you actually feel the obstacles, the terrain, the other vehicles,
05:41and especially the weapons.
05:43You know, I'm over 300 pounds, but it shook me.
05:46We know you've got the inside tips, Daryl.
05:48That's all we want.
05:49What about the turbo?
05:50All right, all right, all right.
05:52When you hit a turbo, let the boost fizzle out before you press the A button.
05:55If you press A, you'll cut off any boost you have going.
05:58And the power-ups?
05:59When you collect three balloons of the same color, one right after another,
06:03you get a totally powered-up item.
06:05Say.
06:06And you can also use the zippers and spinning bananas to increase your speed.
06:09Don't forget the hovercraft.
06:10Ugh.
06:11When you're heading into a sharp turn, use the R button.
06:14Okay.
06:15This will make the hovercraft hop.
06:17Then it's easier for you to make those turns.
06:19Something about an overworld.
06:21When you're exploring the overworld, there are hidden balloons.

06:25You can find them by using all the different vehicles.
