A shocking case of alleged medical negligence has surfaced from Nawada, where a man claiming to be a doctor reportedly treated a head injury by inserting stapler pins into a young man’s scalp instead of stitching the wound. A video of the incident is now widely circulating on social media.

According to reports, the incident took place in Naro Murar village under the jurisdiction of Warisaliganj Police Station. The injured youth had reportedly suffered a serious head injury and skull fracture on March 3.

Seeking treatment, he went to a practitioner in Ganesh Nagar. However, the victim alleged that instead of providing proper medical treatment or stitching the wound, the practitioner used a standard office stapler to insert pins into his head.

The unusual and disturbing treatment reportedly stunned those present. Someone at the scene recorded the procedure, and the video has since gone viral online. However, the authenticity of the viral video has not yet been independently verified.

The incident has triggered strong reactions from local residents and social media users, many of whom have called it gross negligence and demanded strict action against unqualified medical practitioners.

Local residents have also urged the health department to crack down on such alleged “quack doctors,” saying such practices put lives at risk.

So far, neither the local administration nor the alleged doctor has issued an official statement regarding the incident. Authorities are yet to confirm whether an investigation has been launched into the matter.
