Smoke was seen rising over Dubai Creek Harbour after a reported drone strike triggered a fire at the luxury Address Creek Harbour hotel.
According to officials and reports cited by Dubai Media Office, emergency services quickly responded to the scene after an explosion was reported on the upper floors of the residential and hotel complex in Dubai.
Authorities stated that the blaze was minor and brought under control within an hour. Thanks to the building’s fire suppression systems and rapid evacuation procedures, guests and residents were safely evacuated and no casualties were reported.
Witnesses described seeing smoke and hearing emergency sirens as security teams guided people away from the tower toward the waterfront promenade.
The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions and increased air-defence activity across the UAE, with officials reporting multiple interceptions of drones and missiles in recent hours.
