Seth and Sean assess what from this week looks the worst: Team USA Manager Mark DeRosa thinking the USA was advancing when that wasn't the case yet, whoever is responsible for Bam Adebayo's 83 points, or the Ravens backing out of trading for Maxx Crosby.

00:00So a few things happened this week in really yesterday in sport yesterday was a day for bad looks I
00:05thought Seth I started thinking and going back through and sifting through the the three big stories that were bad
00:11looks or either people putting their warts out there yes for specific people or teams or leagues or whatever it
00:18may be so I want to go through these and see if we figure out which ones are these a
00:22bad look and if so which one is the worst we didn't we hit the world baseball classic in US
00:27losing to Italy yesterday a little bit later on in
00:29the show mostly mostly from the same angles that I've been coming at the world baseball classic throughout the whole
00:35WBC but we didn't dig into this part that Mark DeRosa the manager of the United States team prior to
00:42the game against Italy and and after the the win over Mexico earlier this week went on MLB TV and
00:50seemed to intimate that he thought that the win over Mexico sealed the deal for the US to move on
00:56to the quarterfinals to move on to the knockout round of the WBC
00:59that was not the case but here is Mark DeRosa prior to the loss to Italy saying well you know
01:07I'm going to try to get some guys off their feet you know we've sewed up our spot already
01:10bodies ready to roll today I would imagine
01:14absolutely I'm going to look at it I'm going to get some guys off their feet no question about it
01:17I'd like to get Goldie a start and you know he has been awesome just a leader of men behind
01:22the scenes with Aaron Judge I'd like to get him in there I'd like to get Gunnar in there again
01:27um ton of respect for Italy it's it's weird we want to win we want to win this game even
01:32though our tickets punched to the quarterfinals because
01:35Mexico plays Italy actually tomorrow so this the way the way the schedule lines up this is an important game
01:42for us
01:42okay that and that was Ben dropping the buzzer not MLB TV just to be clear um that was uh
01:48so that was a bad look
01:50and it it got exacerbated nobody really even pointed it out at the time because I don't think people thought
01:54the U.S. was going to lose to Italy yeah but they go and they lose to Italy and and
01:59and they they fall
01:59behind 8-0 and they ultimately the game ended up being 8-6 the U.S. lost but it's a
02:05good thing they
02:05scored those six runs because of the way the tiebreakers work you know just in case um but
02:11that that that DeRosa quote started to garner a lot of attention as that Italy loss was unfolding like
02:16did he think that they were already in the quarterfinals because if they lose this game they are not
02:22automatically in the court now we should be clear Mexico played Italy last night and the outcome of
02:26that game sent the U.S. to the quarterfinal so DeRosa dodges a big bullet here but after the loss
02:32to
02:32Italy on Wednesday there was a reporter that brought up that quote from MLB TV with him and DeRosa tried
02:38his best to cover it up yeah I misspoke I was on hot stove with a couple buddies today and
02:43completely
02:44misread misread the calculations we knew that Mexico was going to play Italy and then running all the
02:50numbers with if we lost tonight with the runs allowed and runs scored and outs so I I just
02:56misspoke okay ultimately the tiebreaker didn't matter because Italy went undefeated in the pool
03:01but he got that part right what's that when he when he was good his explanation he got it right
03:05though
03:06right he got the situation right he yeah well yeah at that point they'd lost it yeah sometimes
03:11people make a clarification and like and they're still wrong in the clarification well he's claiming
03:16he misspoke there's people out there Seth that just think he's flat out lying that he misspoke
03:21that he truly did think when he went on with those guys on hot stove before the loss to Italy
03:25that
03:26they were already in the quarterfinals that's what I saw people saying he said but right there it
03:29sounded like he just said flat out that he got it wrong that he was uh but anyway yeah yeah
03:34so he
03:34there's people that just don't believe like mad dog doesn't believe there's people that don't
03:37believe in this yeah I don't care well it's but this is a guy who got this this is where
03:43people care
03:43okay so yeah so you don't think it's a bad at that bad of a look um there are people
03:48that care
03:48because this is the manager of the baseball team and he didn't he started a lineup against Italy
03:53that was resting a bunch of their starters yeah and here's the other thing here's the other thing
03:58you've been brainwashing me into not caring about the world baseball I know and this well I think this
04:03is a yeah you're right though no with the decisions you're making there is malpractice game and
04:09everything yeah yeah it's malpractice and here's the other thing that pisses people off about DeRosa
04:13is that he wants to be a major league manager and he's never managed before so this bad look when
04:18it comes to bad looks I would put this in the category of wearing a t-shirt to a bank
04:22when
04:22you're asking for a loan okay uh you know like okay maybe you're not that into fashion or anything
04:27or putting on airs but there's a certain time where you're like all right yeah I'm gonna pretend
04:31I'm gonna pretend that I play the game at this point and I'm gonna wear I'm gonna dress up nice
04:35when
04:35I go to the bank I mean it's different great you're a Silicon Valley tech genius that's different
04:41the normal person walking to a bank asking for a loan you gotta you gotta play the part a little
04:45bit and it's a t-shirt that says no pain no gain party till it hurts yeah something like that
04:50yeah
04:51or just something it's one of those old uh um um the the Johnson t-shirts yeah the big Johnson
04:58t-shirt
04:58right right it's like a really inappropriate t-shirt something body okay so you agree that it's a bad
05:02look for the manager to not know the rules of the tournament possibly yeah yeah because his behavior
05:06would indicate that he maybe he said in that cut I'm gonna try to get guys off their feet
05:11and it's like well no you need to win no yeah yeah you're 100 bad luck bad luck for de
05:15rosa bad
05:15look for de rosa okay so that's that's number one bam out of bios 83 point game dude I had
05:21a guy in
05:21the lobby today at the building here when I came in at 5 25 or whatever it was some guy
05:28I don't know
05:28who he was he works in another floor of the building and we're both signing in at the desk
05:32downstairs and he looks at me he goes hey how about bam and I'm like the oh the 83 points
05:39was
05:39he saying it like uh is it he was impressed by it yes okay yes and I didn't think he
05:44was disgusted
05:44by it no he wasn't disgusted by it and I was disgusted with him for not being disgusted by it
05:49did
05:49you tell him that no I didn't want to get into a long conversation I wanted to I want to
05:53come up
05:53here and hang out this is a worse look than mark de rosa for you well yeah that guy yeah
05:57for sure
05:58especially if he has a good job um this was there there was the bam and for those just to
06:02get caught
06:03up for those who don't know bam out of bio the miami heat scored 83 points the other night in
06:07one
06:07of the most contrived 83 points that you're ever going to see he shot 43 free throws he averages four
06:14and a half free throws a game he shot 43 free throws he he shot less than 50 percent from
06:21the field he was
06:2120 of 43 this thing got a ton of attention yesterday and I don't think it helps him that he's
06:26passing
06:27Kobe Bryant for the second all-time scoring I think that's I think that's really what got
06:32people's goat the most it was uh that they it was their personal goat that was surpassed yes
06:37yeah here was Tim McMahon who covers the NBA for ESPN saying he was disgusted at bam's 83 point effort
06:44I never ever ever ever ever ever ever want to hear about heat culture and professionalism and all that
06:50crap again because that was the most blatant stat chasing I've ever seen do that honestly is the
06:58worst stat chasing since Ricky Davis tried to get a rebound on the wrong basket to get a triple double
07:03but the difference is this was minutes and minutes and minutes and extend the game stat chasing so
07:11it was embarrassing for the lizards egregious for the heat but hey you got your 83 I enjoyed the
07:19ethical 39 by Wimby more than I enjoyed the egregious 83 but I'm old I'm grumpy I admit it okay
07:25so let me
07:26ask you this yeah I mean by getting that amount of points by uh the free throws yeah I'd like
07:34there's
07:35another party that's complicit in this then that's the people that following uh the team that's
07:39fouling him yeah I that part of it I just I didn't watch a single second of that game yeah
07:44um was it
07:45was it that was he like how was he necessarily stat chasing while also getting fouled uh to such an
07:52extreme degree it's the wizards so they stink um so I don't think the wizards were trying to get him
07:5783 points right yeah I know that yeah I guess like it's just it's hard for me to envision necessarily
08:01if it was just flat out if they were just feeding him the ball and he was now nailing all
08:08these threes
08:08and everything then I I would put more of it as okay that's blatant stat chasing but the fact that
08:14the yeah the foul situation the foul well here's here's the thing the things that have people upset
08:19about this aside from the Kobe part of it which I think is I think plays into it is that
08:25it wasn't
08:26even an efficient game right he was 20 of 43 from the field he was seven of like 26 from
08:32three as
08:33opposed to the notoriously efficient Kobe well no but Kobe when he scored 81 was super efficient in
08:39that game you know when when the the other the other games that fit that ilk were not guys that
08:44were just chucking out there and there's never a game in in the heat's wildest dreams they'd never
08:49run the ball yeah through bam out of bio for 43 shots I just you know what it is for
08:54me it's like
08:54man the old like all right you don't want it to happen stop them it's like don't be disgusted with
08:59bam out of bio uh be be disgusted with the wizards and the state of the league right now to
09:04where things
09:05are as bad as they are but but the here's the other part too Seth is that the the this
09:09is the contrived
09:10part yeah is that we'll play mad dog here in a second just because he's entertaining well you know what
09:14I'll let mad dog uh have his say here and then I'll I'll lay the rest of this out 83
09:19points go ahead
09:20put the sign up enjoy it bow down have fun social media knock them dead you want to call me
09:26a guy who's
09:26gonna throw it to be a dark cloud go ahead I don't care old man screaming on my lawn I'm
09:31not interested
09:31but when you shoot 43 times and shoot less than 50 percent when you shoot 43 free throws and you
09:38go
09:39seven for 22 from three against a horrendous team and you're in the game in the last five minutes
09:44and suppose just fouling the wizards to get more possession so we can score 83 points that's not
09:50the way it should be yeah and I'll tell you right now I never admit it I bet you Pat
09:54Riley feels the
09:55same way oh that's a good one little Pat Riley bomb at the end the heat culture no here here's
09:59the
09:59other thing I was going to say is that this is how I feel now there's a lot of people
10:03out there you
10:04know taking up for bam and saying hey it's 83 points just enjoy it whatever
10:08it's it's when you contrive things it's when you do things that are not the normal course of a
10:13basketball game to go get that record the heat were fouling the wizards in a 25 point margin game
10:20in the fourth quarter just to maximize the number of possessions they were getting yeah yeah that's
10:25the part that's a that's off-putting to people I guess the part is uh the part where I'm torn
10:29a
10:29little bit is I don't feel like it's still worthy of bashing bam out of bio uh bash bash spolstra
10:35if
10:35that's the case it's a bad look for somebody I also think it's it's one of these things where
10:39people are more mad at the the people who are gushing about the performance more so than they're
10:46actually mad at bam yeah that it's kind of like how it worked into with Tebow at one point I
10:52think
10:52I I realized look I like Tebow yeah I don't like the people who are gushing about Tebow because they
10:58don't know what they're talking about so I just separate those two I would have to tell people who are
11:02adamant Tebow followers I love Tim Tebow I hate you you are an idiot you don't know what you're
11:09talking about do you do you agree that it's a bad look for somebody this game or are you just
11:15I think it's a bad look for the NBA in general okay yeah okay yeah I I think uh I
11:21don't yeah I
11:22don't blame bam you know I don't blame him for it uh I I think spolstra is a good one
11:28like spolstra
11:29there's a lot of people absolving spolstra like what's spolstra supposed to do like well he can
11:32take him out of the game he can tell it's like he spolstra could tell his team to stop fouling
11:36yeah wizards you know what it's it's almost like uh it's a this isn't a direct analogy but in terms
11:42of how you feel about it almost maybe like if a if a little league team has a bunch of
11:46kids that
11:47are busting or something you know they're not and there's it's not against the rules but it's just
11:51like it wasn't even a fair okay great you guys swept your way to a championship or something but it
11:57was
11:57like this is the it's not the same as other other things that other little league teams have I just
12:03don't like contrived records they're not real to me and I like the one that immediately popped to
12:08mind for me and I don't know how many people are going to remember this but Nykesha sales was a
12:14basketball player for UConn back in the women's team back in the early 2000s I think yeah everybody
12:19remembers this okay well okay are you being sarcastic are you no no no no I mean I know where
12:25you're
12:25going with it yeah yeah yeah no it's 20 years ago I think there's probably people who've never
12:28heard of it it's been 20 years yeah it's been a long time yeah all right go ahead so Nykesha
12:32sales
12:32was a basketball player for UConn that uh that hurt her leg two points short of the UConn scoring record
12:39so UConn agreed with Villanova to allow UConn to win the toss and they parked Nykesha sales
12:46literally with a brace on her leg holding like on crutches almost yeah they agreed to let UConn win
12:53the tap dish the ball to her and make a layup so that she could I think tie the scoring
12:59record
13:00at UConn it was career or single season or whatever it was but it was one of the most abject
13:04jokes I've
13:04ever seen on a basket on on any playing surface of any sport like you injuries happen that's the
13:11normal course of sports and so so that eventually eventually that record got reversed they didn't
13:18allow for like they at first they they let it go and then it eventually got reversed and they said
13:23no that was it was just very very heated because people were just uh and I was I was in
13:28your I was
13:28in your uh category because she um she broke Carrie Bascom's record right and people would say well she
13:34had she had basically done it already she just hadn't done it yet because she hurt her ankle right
13:39yeah I get it you know who else deals with injuries yeah Carrie Bascom yeah and other people like
13:44the timing of when you got your ankle injury doesn't change the fact that you still you you
13:49still didn't break the record yeah yeah it was 1998 so it's been been almost 30 years now so yeah
13:55that's I was always shocked that Gino Ariema uh like was cool with that with doing that didn't seem
14:01like in line with what yeah he was a he was a softer gentler Gino Ariema back then he might
14:06not be
14:06as into doing something like well no he could be in soft and gentle towards uh towards Carrie Bascom too
14:12you know and upholding her record yeah that's true that's like because Carrie Bascom sprained
14:17her ankle her freshman year or something yeah uh she didn't end up having it be 200 points higher
14:22than what it was yeah it's just the just margins and bad luck and timing don't change the fact that
14:28you haven't scored the point yeah that's that's how I see this at bam out of bio thing I think
14:31it's
14:32as contrived as the nikesha sales layup I think it's as contrived as as Brett Favre going into a
14:38fetal position so Michael Strahan yeah can break a record I think it's I think it's in that category
14:43and I don't like that I take that boy I I did not realize that happened well the way you
14:49said it years
14:49ago the way you said it you looked frustrated that I even brought it up you're like yeah everybody knows
14:53this it's like wait a second um so everybody who matters yes many 18 year olds out there you people
15:02over 45 um so uh so so far it sounds like worst look DeRosa over bam out of bio it
15:09sounds like I
15:10guess yeah I don't think it's I don't I don't uh I don't want to begrudge a guy for scoring
15:14a bunch
15:14of points yeah like even though it's a it wasn't aesthetically what you wanted the fact of the matter
15:18is they scored those points I would say bad look for Eric Spolstra yeah Eric Spolstra should know
15:22better um last one Ravens Crosby trade backing out is this a bad look this was Eric DaCosta
15:31uh the GM of the Baltimore Ravens yesterday um claiming that hey yeah we had the max trade all
15:39lined up on Tuesday and then we started kicking tires on Trey Hendrickson with the thought that
15:44hey we might pair them both together out there I didn't really look at him as like oh you know
15:48we'll do this because of that it was really more how do we get better as a football team
15:52um in terms of uh Trey I think we came to a point um probably after we lost Tyler
16:02where as we're trying to find the best way for us to get better as a football team
16:06um Trey kind of made a lot of sense as a possible guy to look at um so we started
16:13some discussions with
16:14with he and his agent um thinking that you know potentially we'd have two pass rushers on the
16:22defensive line both sides of the line um again I think it was disappointing you know to us and
16:29probably in a way you know potentially disappointing probably to Trey as well okay so do you buy the fact
16:36that the Ravens started seeing what the market was for Trey Hendrickson on Tuesday because they wanted
16:43to pair Trey Hendrickson with Max Crosby um or were they doing it because they needed a plan B because
16:49they got cold feet and they knew they were going to nullify the match I think there's a chance okay
16:55in all of the most likely scenarios it also it includes the Ravens getting cold feet and backing out I
17:03think
17:03there's a real good chance that they were genuinely thinking yeah we should have both of these guys
17:07and and they got stars in their eyes and they started getting aggressive and then all of a sudden
17:12they had a moment of clarity and they and they realized wait what are we doing here this is too
17:17much wait okay so I think at some point it's possible that they did really like the idea of
17:23having both of those guys who wouldn't but somebody said somebody said hey let's take a deep breath and
17:28let's sit back here and think about this for a moment maybe it was maybe Ozzie Newsome
17:33had uh like like taken a walk around the block because he's still in the organization in an
17:38advisory role yep and maybe Ozzie Newsome came in and was like all right guys I want you to really
17:42think about this you know his young students where he's watching them Eric DaCosta's young protege is
17:49he's he's in charge now but Ozzie Newsome comes in and is like all right you know just uh just
17:54you
17:55absolutely ask yourself this are you going to sleep well tonight uh and and DaCosta might have said
18:02god no I'm not no I'm not I'm going to be really nervous about how much we've given up to
18:06have this
18:06scenario we've we've strayed from our core values and they got full cold feet and backed out well
18:11and they they had strayed from their core values and even consummating a Max Crosby trade in the
18:15first place right right but even if their plan was hopefully to get the Max Crosby and the other one
18:20that yes they that they've gone way out way outside of how they normally operate so a combination of
18:27he can speak with truth he can speak truthfully that okay yeah we did want both of those guys
18:33but I'm not buying that it wasn't just simple cold feet that made him back up yeah if I had
18:37to put
18:37the Max Crosby trade yeah dude if I had if I it's absolutely a possibility it absolutely is
18:42if I were power ranking the pot like what the real story is behind it yeah I think that I
18:48think that
18:48they made that Max Crosby trade last week or over the weekend whatever it was and and immediately
18:54they're like kind of like you said yesterday like when someone who lives a certain lifestyle
18:58decides to get a little more out there with their lifestyle they're like this just isn't me yeah and
19:03I think they felt like man this trade just isn't us and the guy has a knee problem yeah and
19:08he's
19:09getting older and Trey Hendrickson is is wow it's Tuesday and Trey Hendrickson hasn't signed anywhere yet
19:16because all reports are that the Ravens started swooping in on this Trey Hendrickson situation on Tuesday
19:21I think the odds are that they started looking at Trey Hendrickson and like wow okay I thought he
19:27seems like a guy that would be scooped up in the first 15 minutes of free agency and he's still
19:33sitting here on Tuesday afternoon so okay then the people what people are saying is oh man who's
19:37gonna want to do business with the Ravens again this that the other um other teams have backed out of
19:42trades because of failed physicals before and a lot of times it does look kind of shady it has never
19:48been as high profile as this that I can remember the Ravens have backed out of a couple trades before
19:53the Raiders have backed out of a trade because of a failed physical um the the thing that I don't
20:00think I don't buy for a second the teams aren't going to want to do business with the Ravens again
20:04yeah they're going to look at it as all right you just you got to be careful it's a good
20:08dose of
20:09reality and on a swivel yeah feels like when a mob boss flips out sometimes you know you're watching
20:14you're watching a mob movie or a series on HBO and like the guy just totally loses it and
20:20beats up one of his underlings to win an inch of his life or something everybody kind of looks at
20:25him like oh that was that was messed up but uh you know at the end of the day we
20:29got to do business
20:30you're still the boss yeah yeah yeah you know mob families you know in the movies I don't know if
20:35it works like this in real life like oh okay somebody uh one of your guys murdered one of my
20:40guys
20:40like listen man like that's not the way we do business yeah and there's a there's a retribution
20:46and whatever a deal is made but then you go on doing business you go on yeah because you got
20:50to
20:50do business man you got to put food on the table this is like Eric DaCosta felt slighted by some
20:56made man from another family and he bashed his head in with uh with a sledgehammer yeah but I
21:03at the end of the day we got to conduct business bashed Tom Brady's head in with a sledgehammer but
21:07Brady's probably gonna have to do business with him again down the road you know that's just
21:11Brady what if Brady with his notorious ability to put a chip on his shoulder I wonder if he started
21:16I wonder if he feels like he's sitting himself look I could see him and I bet he's staring at
21:21himself in the mirror saying like think they think you're weak I bet he's you're stupid they think
21:25you're weak they they're better than that every day in every way I'm getting better and better
21:32Eric DaCosta that's what he sounds like Tom Brady that's pretty much yeah kind of him and David
21:37Beckham no you're right voice doesn't match the face voice doppelgangers yes um okay does this
21:42story from Will Compton Will Compton co-host of Bussin' with the Boys former wide receiver
21:46in the NFL he's got a Ravens story Seth are you does this convince you that maybe DaCosta was playing
21:54a little bit of dirty pool with Max Crosby during the week this is Will Compton telling a story of
22:00Ryan Grant a former teammate of his who left Washington to go to Baltimore in free agency
22:06back in 2018. First time something has happened like this with the Ravens let me take you back to
22:132018 a former teammate of mine Ryan Grant receiver from the Washington Redskins signs a four-year like
22:2230 million dollar deal with the Ravens on Tuesday when like the first day or two of free agency
22:28signs four-year Ryan Grant has never missed a game in his career with Washington Michael Crabtree
22:36gets cut by the Oakland Raiders like the next day or on Thursday and all of a sudden Ravens focus
22:43on a
22:44move that they want to make they want to sign Michael Crabtree they bring Ryan Grant in they fail his
22:50physical and wave his and wave his four-year contract so they don't go through with the like
22:5830 million dollars four years 15 guarantee that Ryan was going to get they void it because they
23:03fail him on his physical dude hadn't missed a game in four years like Max Crosby ain't missing football
23:09games I should point out Seth that Will Compton made that video yeah the night that the Crosby trade
23:16got rescinded on Tuesday night they had not signed the Ravens had not signed Hendrickson yet which makes
23:23that video fascinating to me is that you know Compton did that before Trey Hendrickson was even
23:29mentioned as a possibility for the Ravens what year was that in 2018 yeah the interesting thing about that
23:37was that he would go on in 2018 he played uh he had 50 uh 35 receptions uh 2019 he
23:46only played in two
23:47games and uh that was the end of his career for him so I like I wonder I wonder what
23:53the whatever
23:53they discovered or whatever the physical was or anything that maybe there was actually a lot of
23:58truth to that that's interesting I didn't only go on so he had played four years he ended up having
24:03a
24:03six-year career yeah where he only played two years in the final year of his or two games in
24:07the final year of his career who did he go to Indianapolis okay he played 14 games uh targeted
24:1452 times for 35 catches 334 yards okay next year he had 14 yards and never played again okay so
24:20maybe
24:20they found something I don't know yeah I was like so when um when you say when you ask does
24:25this convince
24:25you maybe that the Ravens were playing dirty pool no I think they were playing dirty pool yeah uh but
24:31I feel
24:31like it's not unforgivable dirty pool right it's uh it's and then maybe it's uh where is it on the
24:36spectrum of it yeah um was it shady all of that probably but I don't think it's an unforgivable sin
24:42that's going to keep DaCosta from ever you know consummating a deal in the NFL I just don't buy that
24:47he was seriously seriously considering signing both guys I don't know well I just I think I think he got
24:55if the timeline that all the nugget hussies put together we'll get to that later in the show
25:00yeah but the word on the street is that a mystery team entered the Hendrickson negotiations there
25:05were like five teams that were very public about courting Trey Hendrickson and that Mike Garofalo
25:10says a mystery team entered the fray on Tuesday afternoon if I'm just piecing it together if I'm
25:16trying to put together a case in court I think the most likely scenario is that they started to realize
25:22the combination of Crosby's injury and this just not being how we've done business before and
25:27the expense of Crosby as a player versus Hendrickson I think they I think they said let's at least
25:33look at plan b here but what I'm saying is I don't it doesn't matter either way it's dirty pool
25:38like it's like either way it's you're like the fact that you're the fact that you just knew what
25:46the medical situation was and then you found a reason to use the medical situation to botch the trade
25:51no matter what the plans were at any point or anything it's dirty pool it's dirtier pool if you
25:56did completely plan on you know well we're gonna we're gonna hold this guy in reserve until until
26:02we find out what's going on with Hendrickson okay so who's the worst of these DeRosa whoever you blame
26:08for Bam Adebayo's 83 point game or DaCosta the worst look out of all of these people I would power
26:15rank
26:15it as I don't know DeRosa uh or um the Ravens I I kind of it's kind of gangsta you
26:22know uh
26:24Ravens is third for me yeah I I kind of I respect the gangsta yeah yeah Ravens is third I
26:31want to say
26:31DeRosa's a bad look because it was just incompetence it was incompetence yeah I mean it was it was
26:36incompetence it almost cost the United States the quarterfinals of the world baseball class but then I
26:41will say that uh you know by the standards and uh of society even though you can be pretty gangsta
26:49still not genuinely approved of being a gangsta right uh I would buy society at large I think I'll
26:55I'll put DaCosta second and um and then I'll put the I'll put Bam third Bam third yeah Bam yeah
27:01go on get yours I don't give a damn no no no and that's not hurting anybody like the like
27:05legitimately
27:05the like the Ravens backing out of that trade I say hurt somebody I mean it's football but like the
27:11the
27:11the Raiders got kind of screwed over in that whole thing the funniest thing for the Bam stuff for me
27:15is that it's just it's still not a record like everybody's pissed off they're talking about it
27:19like you can't have records set this way right it's not a record it's like Will Chay didn't come
27:23anywhere close to Will Chamberlain and by the way do you know who manufactured stats better than anybody
27:29in the history of basketball Will Chamberlain oh that game the hundred there were games where he
27:33would refuse to shoot because he wanted to set the assist record yeah like that was just it was
27:39but because he's an all-time great player yeah you know like it's acceptable or it's passable
27:43no record was set unless you're parsing it out in terms of you know in the last four decades or
27:49what
27:49have you people are upset that he surpassed Kobe it's not like all of a sudden people are going to
27:53be saying like oh wow boy I got to reevaluate whether Kobe was a good basketball player or not
27:58now that Bam Adebayo has surpassed him yeah
28:00yeah
