00:00Celtics lose last night.
00:01They're shorthanded against the Spurs.
00:03Pritchard was ruled out before the game.
00:06Jalen Brown ruled himself out right before halftime.
00:09Do you think the Celtics prove they can hang,
00:11even shorthanded, with one of the best teams in basketball?
00:14I do. Yeah, I do.
00:16You know, obviously the Spurs were pulling away a little bit,
00:18but the Celtics stayed with it
00:20and made it really close towards the end.
00:21And obviously final scores, whatever it was, like nine points,
00:24but they were right there
00:25and they played more than half the game without Jalen Brown.
00:27All the game, as you just said, without Peyton Pritchard.
00:30So it's also game three back for Jason Tatum.
00:33Like I would think at some point,
00:35Tatum's going to start to shoot it a little bit better
00:37and a little bit more efficient.
00:39He's still finished with 24 points,
00:41but 10 of 24, 4 of 14 from three.
00:44So I think that's going to improve a little bit.
00:46The Spurs are really one of the three best teams in basketball
00:50and they're a great home team.
00:52And Victor Wimbayama had one of his best games of the year.
00:55So you needed all that and the Celtics were right there with them.
00:59So, you know, you hate to be happy after a lot,
01:02not even happy, but just sort of, you know,
01:04like a good loss or anything like that.
01:05But the truth is like, yeah,
01:07I think they absolutely proved they can hang with them.
01:09It'd be an amazing seven game series in my mind.
01:11And you were hitting on this the other day
01:14is we're all looking at the East
01:15and they should win the East.
01:17And now you're like, well, why not go further than that?
01:19They got Tatum back.
01:20The Spurs and Thunder are both really good,
01:23but not like unbeatable.
01:24It doesn't feel like Durant with the Warriors,
01:26like those two years where you're like,
01:28well, if they're healthy, they're going to win.
01:29I don't, I thought the Thunder were going to be that.
01:32And we'll get a good look at them tomorrow night.
01:34And the Spurs might be a year early,
01:36but they're playing really, really well.
01:38So yeah, maybe they could,
01:39or at least make it a hell of a series.
01:41Like they're going to go up there
01:42and have like a really competitive six, seven game series.
01:45So no, overall we can get into the Jalen Brown aspect of it,
01:49but overall with the team,
01:50I thought that was pretty positive.
