00:05So if that's the case, why are Holiday and Porzingis both gone?

00:09Well, I think they've been very clear about that.

00:10I know you're going to tell me the second apron and the basketball pen,

00:15but if they're freezing your first-round pick

00:17and you're an NBA championship contender,

00:19it's going to be near the end of the first round anyway.

00:21And I know Chisholm is a Celtics fan and all that.

00:27I get it, but it's, I guess, like I said before,

00:31that power dynamic between him and Wick, it feels like Wick,

00:35and if Pags had bought the team too, would have just kept a lot of these guys

00:39and now some of them are gone.

00:41Again, I can understand trading one.

00:43I think that has more to do with Tatum than anything.

00:46I can understand trading one of them, right?

00:48Holiday or Porzingis, it's just the both thing.

00:51Just one of them wasn't going to get them under the second apron though.

00:53So I guess that's fair.

00:54I mean, it was going to happen no matter what, regardless of the Tatum injury.

00:58And I think people also forget, like, they were going to lose that series regardless.

01:01Even if Tatum was healthy, they were on their way being down 3-1

01:04and losing that series.

01:05So were you going to justify bringing back a $500 million roster

01:10for a team that didn't have its best player and just had a second-round exit

01:13and didn't meet expectations last year?

01:15I mean, the reality is, is the new NBA, the windows are so much shorter.

01:20Years ago, this team should have had another crack,

01:22where they win a championship, they mess around, they find out,

01:26and then they have another chance to right the ship and win another one.

01:28That's the old NBA.

01:29Those days are gone now, just with the second apron,

01:31and they want the parity, and that's what they're getting.

01:33And I think every league office around the whole NBA has been very clear,

01:37like, there's nothing they can do.

01:39Like, teams cannot live in the second apron from a basketball standpoint

01:42and from a financial standpoint.

01:43Like, 선s – you're going to have to pay for them.

01:45Like, if you're going to have to pay for the guys' money,

01:46who are not going to pay for them to be able to pay for next year,

01:48but then they have to pay for it to the first half.

01:51This is alevel game that is not enough for you for years to win,

01:52and have to pay for it.

01:53In the second apron, you're going to have to pay for now for years,

01:54and be proud to pay for it.

01:55And then, you've got to pay for it.

01:55And, of course, a lot of people do not pay for it.
