00:00Your thoughts on his, and he was asked that question in a bunch of different ways today.
00:06And that was obviously the most direct and the most effective.
00:09But your thoughts on how he handled those questions today, and what do you think he really feels?
00:13What I think he really feels is they shoot too many threes.
00:16And then I feel, but I also think, he just doesn't want to throw his coach under the bus.
00:21Because he knows if he says it that way, it's going to sound like he's ripping his coach.
00:25And he doesn't want to rip his coach.
00:26Because he was a coach, and he didn't want it to happen to him when he was coaching the team.
00:30And I get that part of it.
00:32I also think there's a finer line to walk, and you can make it clear by saying,
00:37Hey, look, this is going to sound like I'm critical of Joe, and I'm not.
00:41But I think we lapse into that, and it happened to me when I coached.
00:45So he did a terrific job this year.
00:47Don't go reading into this any more than it is.
00:50But we lose our way sometimes.
00:52Yes, but that's how I would answer it.
00:54And so I think he was being partly genuine, and it partly concerns me.
00:59I don't think he gets it either.
01:01This thing, he said it over and over again.
01:02We look at each individual shot.
01:04Right?
01:04So what he's implying there is that, and he said it point blank in a couple different answers,
01:12that sequence at the end of the fourth quarter, you're down a point, 3.30 left.
01:16You got three trips down the floor.
01:17Two of the three shots were three-pointers.
01:19One was a Jalen Brown wide-open three, kind of by the top of the key, off a pick-and
01:25-roll with Pritchard.
01:27And then there was the kick-out wide-open three to Pritchard in the corner.
01:31And multiple times, he said those were good shots.
01:34He didn't say that, but that's what he was implying.
01:36Yeah, right.
01:36We'll take those shots.
01:37So he's still saying, in that case, I look at that individual shot, and you say, we'll take it.
01:45He said, Embiid's under the rim.
01:46The rim's protected.
01:47They have good perimeter defenders.
01:49And Embiid's under the rim.
01:50So if you can get that look, that's a good look.
01:53That's what he said, you know, paraphrasing.
01:55Correct.
01:55He's wrong.
01:57That's wrong.
01:59He's got it wrong, too.
02:00The whole organization has it wrong.
02:02So you're not going to win.
02:03You're not going to win until they change their mind or you fire these people.
02:07It's wrong.
