00:00Acting President Delos Rodriguez enacted the law of the Venezuelan Red Cross on the occasion of National Doctors' Day.
00:06Upon enactment of this important law, which was approved by the Parliament,
00:11the Acting President considered the initiative to be historic as it was approved by both political blocs,
00:16demonstrating a spirit of political coexistence and conviviality.
00:19The Acting President also stated that this law is for all Venezuelans
00:24and that the Red Cross has played a humanitarian role in supporting the public authorities for many years.
00:29The law of the Venezuelan Red Cross is a legal instrument that redefines the institution as a public law entity
00:34auxiliary to the state, modernizes its infrastructure,
00:38and formally integrates the organization into the national risk management system
00:41under the principles of sovereignty and neutrality.
