00:14mock drafts and whatever else we're tired of talking about since the end of
00:18the season legal tampering kicks off at noon today and it's going to tell us two
00:23things about your Jets and your Giants one Darren Muge and Aaron Glenn has
00:28learned their lesson about overpaying an average quarterback in free agency and
00:32two what some of the top free agents in this cycle think about the Giants what
00:37two months into the Harbaugh era both of these teams have to land some sort of
00:42big fish or fishes the Jets currently have the fifth most cap space at just under
00:4974 million and yes they do have a lot of holes to fill but there's not a big fish
00:54at quarterback in this free agent class that can get Darren Muge and Aaron Glenn
00:59off the hot seat you overpaid a mid-grade quarterback last offseason and Aaron
01:05Glenn quickly learned that the rah-rah speeches they only go so far in a
01:09rebuild your quarterback steers that ship I think that they should use the draft
01:14capital that they've accumulated from the Quentin Williams and sauce trades and go
01:18and trade for a guy that they know and they love that can help turn this
01:22franchise around and for the Giants anybody who knows football knows that
01:27they have a good enough core to win some games they got the pass rushers pretty
01:32solid offensive line and that young it guy quarterback on a rookie deal that's
01:38enough to build and a rebuild that is taking longer than a lot of people has
01:42expected but now it's time to throw that 20 million dollar a year bait and John
01:47Harbaugh into the free agency pool or ocean and see what big fish or fishes
01:53bite because you can't walk into the draft still needing an impact playmaker on
01:58offense and every down linebacker to fill Bobby O'Carrikay's void oh we're live
