The current footbridge at Tenby Station will be dismantled week commencing March 16 as part of the work to provide step-free access to both platforms.
The bridge is being relocated to a heritage railway in Llanelli, according to Tenby Civic Society.
A temporary footbridge will be erected during the same week. The token hut, used by the drivers to change the points will be relocated and cabling work will also be undertaken.
The work will include 24-hour working from 11pm on March 15 until 5.45am on March 21.
There will be no train services (Monday-Friday) and the station will be closed to the public during these works.
A replacement bus service will operate from the bus stop near the multi storey car park.
