Haverfordwest - work starts on Public Transport Interchange

The temporary car park at Haverfordwest has closed to allow for works towards creating a Public Transport Interchange for the Pembrokeshire County Town, which are now underway.
At a community evening on November 21, Kier Construction Ltd had confirmed that the rebuild phase of the Public Transport Interchange development in Pembrokeshire’s county town was due to start imminently.
The scheme forms part of the South West Wales Metro project, which the Council states will provide a ‘modern and innovative transport hub’.
Designs include improvements to pedestrian and cycle facilities and electric vehicle charging points.
An integrated bus station will offer seven bays and upgraded passenger facilities, while a new 280-space multi-storey car park will be much easier to use for drivers.
