00:38all right what's up we're weekend friends this is our van it has a few names I guess I think

00:52Carlton and then just big rusty because it's big and rusty but uh yeah we're out here touring in

01:01our big rusty van in Chicago we're sporting our new record feels like hell we're at beat kitchen

01:06here tonight and we're gonna take you on a little tour of this old thing all right so most of

01:12the

01:13driving despite me being in the driver's seat is done by one Ann Hoffman our lovely bass player and

01:17driver extraordinaire other than that we kind of just split it up a little bit you know you don't

01:22want anybody getting too tired on the road um yeah it's pretty great driver picks music

01:28um I've been on a big podcast pick gonna shout out handsome I love uh I love those gals um

01:38and I like a little bit of coast-to-coast action spooky stuff spooky stuff yeah last podcast on the

01:45left to be serious universe to be fair you'll be listening to stuff whoever's driving is listening

01:50stuff and I feel like we'll like listen to stuff together but if like I'm in the back seat or

01:55like

01:55someone else's drive we're like all in headphones kind of in our own little worlds I feel like being

01:59on tour it's like your only escape to have your like a little bit of alone time weirdly enough can

02:03be in the van and sometimes laying in a back bench with airpods on is is really it it's really

02:10that zen

02:11moment you get to just hang out I've never been in the back bench you've never never in the far

02:16never it's great back there you should try it I'm always up here it's my lounge we got some show

02:22we just played fest in Florida awesome festival um I mean we got some obviously tchotchkes hanging

02:29from the rear view we got the yankee candle pumpkin spice because this is the season sorry spice pumpkin

02:35uh we have the wwe world champion belt yeah um we have sorry the heavyweight champion oh you know

02:44what we have some art for my niece so you know this is a professional workplace yeah we're doing work

02:50this is our job so we're in the office we have the official potty watcher watcher cone that's a melting

02:58and uh yeah that's what's going on up around here right it's pretty it's pretty fun got a little

03:04skeleton that just fell off of our thing this door is a little wonky so you got to really give

03:08it a

03:08time all right so oh I do get to go in the back here it's your first time in the

03:16back bench how's it

03:17back there first and last time I've been missing out yeah this is the lap of luxury but um up

03:24we have what we call the museum uh where we just kind of shove various things from different different

03:31excursions and fun places we've been I'm trying to find something good people will give us notes

03:36this is the um that's the poem that was written about me fabulous as always you were the perfect

03:43amount of sharp best birthday for us ever have fun in europe beth and andrew we got beth and andrew

03:49we have someone who wrote a poem for adam it's angel wing arms radiant energy bursting forth in

03:57electric burned energy a wild sea fourth expectancy bright light I can't see what that word bingo with

04:05all this bingo that looks like it says bingo it does light bingo with all the spaces covered it is

04:15bingo bingo if you only let me finish what luck to look upon you um love note to annie another

04:23note to annie we got plenty of love notes fan i thought it was strip with me doing the same

04:27and yeah so where is the one i really wanted to talk about i can't know if i could find

04:32was like a we got a ticket once we're going too slow like uh we got a ticket once we're

04:38through um a popular drug smuggling route in where were we new mexico yeah uh and i literally

04:46we weren't going too slow we were speeding but we were only going 30 yeah we were going to i

04:51think

04:51we were going like it was 35 and a 25 and a 25 um anyway they didn't give us ticket

04:57they gave us

04:57warning it was really cold and when they asked if we had any drugs i was like we have like

05:01multi-vitamins we didn't have any drugs we just are very very simple people all right and that's

05:08yeah that's the museum we got some more stuff up there chopsticks if you need

05:11to return to return them uh some other lore about this van that i think is really important

05:16for everyone to know is this van well cheryl crow

05:24almost drove in this van it's uh it's biggest until her team saw a picture and was like absolutely

05:31not i guess i could explain we can't put i'm not even going to explain it's just the van that

05:36almost drove cheryl crow and cheryl you're still welcome the offer's on the table anytime you want

05:41to ride every day is a winding road so there's four of us usually that ride along uh each sometimes

05:47five but uh usually two up front and then we each get our back benches here you can lay down

05:54relax we got pillows blankets cozy little ride it's good for reading i read a lot in the van when

06:00i'm

06:00not driving um i got some collections over here not that we can listen to records in the van but

06:06this is where all the stored records of uh stuff we buy on tour let's see what we got let's

06:12see what

06:12i've been we've been buying we've been stopping at record stores every pretty much date on this tour

06:18and i've been picking up a different record to enjoy once we're home so some selects

06:23we got funkadelic uh we have the new lambrini girls who let the dogs out it's a great one we

06:32have some jaw box which is always great uh yesterday we went to a record store and i got the

06:39new

06:40i got the new hayley williams which is uh awesome in every capacity um but yeah that's where the records

06:46are stored safely and soundly hanging out in here is pretty fun snacks and stuff shoes under the

06:54benches yeah we really do optimize every inch of this van i try to keep it as organized as possible

07:00as uh they'll all let me but uh yeah we have uh we have stuff stored away everywhere yeah we

07:06got some

07:07seat covers up here it's real nice uh real high quality you know stuff uh that's just for aesthetic

07:13and vibes keeping it keeping it fresh in here um passenger seat is a closet yeah the passenger

07:20seat is also well i'll show you the actual closet but this can become a little bit of a coat

07:24situation uh we got the dad bod sticker that's my jacket uh it's my it's the jacket that's uh now

07:31defined this tour i buy you'll see more jackets i tend to collect jackets as we uh travel um throughout

07:38this country we were big fans of vintage clothing stores on tour uh the garfield what does it say

07:43i'm more fun in the dark it says i'm more fun in the dark relatable obviously the gear lives in

07:49the

07:49u-haul you know that's where all the musical equipment lives uh don't tell anybody it's not

07:57actually where there's nothing in there it's just nothing

08:06now we've reached the pantry um so yeah i'd rather be at ross to be honest just a less i've

08:14never

08:14actually been in ross so uh who knows but i'd actually rather be there all right but the sticker

08:20made us laugh so okay so because all the gear lives in the trailer back here we kind of have

08:26just

08:26personal storage um these are my many jackets uh all hanging on the side here some good ones

08:34i bought this one on this tour uh this is an old vintage uh ralph lauren from the 90s 80s

08:42maybe i

08:43think it's one of my favorite jackets uh a couple more black jean jacket back here but that's where

08:48those all get stored and by the end of this tour there are probably more jackets i bought this jacket

08:52on tour as well um annie do you want to explain all your food jeez okay so i am the

08:59king of dietary

08:59restriction what's up my crohn's disease homies um so i always go into any tour assuming i won't be

09:07able to eat anything that the venue provides so we travel with a pantry you can't even really see it

09:15but there's a fridge back there that plugs in we got like um more lentils but it's all annie

09:21friendly fair a lot of lentils what else yeah some like instant dinners some fruits and veggies that

09:27travel bananas we got bananas we got lemons we got apples we got uh dates we got cherry tomatoes we

09:37got

09:38pickles um unless anybody wants like dietary suggestions we got some millet cereal we got so

09:45much i got a fucking juicer oh i'm gonna swear okay got a fucking juicer we have like a hot

09:52in there and a pot to make little soups or tortilla wraps yeah yeah we got it all essentially like

10:01when

10:01the food is not good or you're just trying to save money which we always are you got to kind

10:05of just

10:05have all the quintessential things we got some safe catch uh shout out tuna we got ramen noodles in

10:15here yeah we got a whole smorgasbord essentially we just travel like it's the apocalypse because you

10:20know it's good to be ready and yeah i guess if the apocalypse happened it'd be a great time to

10:25be on

10:25tour because i feel like we'd have all the stuff we need on our person it's like the best time

10:30when

10:31you're at home you're caught off guard but if you're on tour you have all the food you can keep

10:34moving you have clothing you have cash often jackets you got many jackets yeah all the jackets

10:41you definitely need about like 10 jackets to survive the apocalypse so you know here we are weekend
