00:31How's everybody doing? We're in beautiful Philadelphia and we're gonna go today to Bam Margera's house.
00:39But before that, this is my first time in Philly so I want to check out Love Park and the
00:44surrounding area.
00:52So here we are at Love Park and as we all know it's $300 fine to skate here now.
00:58But it brought out the legendary Stevie Williams, Kalis, Ricky Oyola.

01:55Bam Margera is a skateboarding celebrity, a rock star even.

02:24So we visited him to discover how skateboarding has been a compass in his life.

06:44So, no more rock concerts, no more ticket sales, no more privately owned businesses, no more
06:50upside down cars in the driveway, no more zip lines to a wrestling match, no more treetop
06:56casinos, no more Civil War reenactments.

07:00And the best part was my neighbor was like filming me behind a tree trying to like catch

07:06I'm like, you're not catching me do anything, it's going to be on MTV in two weeks you moron.

07:15So today's plan is to go to Bam's old stomping grounds, FDR's skate park in Philly.
07:26Always wanted to go there.
07:37Here we are at FDR, Bam's local park.
07:40It's like a city built park, but the city only did like two small obstacles.
07:45And then the local skaters went and expanded, like did it their own style, you know.
07:52And this is what we got.

08:33I'm really lucky and I caught it really f***ing good.
08:36Even Jamie Thomas was like, that was like one of the best kickflips I've seen in skateboard.

13:48just simply skating too much.

13:52Right in the nick of time for the Red Bull guys to show up.
13:55For me to get no clips whatsoever except me talking right now.
14:00For the skaters in the greater Philadelphia area,
14:03Matters Apps from Element and the Red Bull team are gonna be shredding tomorrow

16:09He put up an Instagram post to invite everybody to come over,

16:43So what does skateboarding mean to you?
16:46Skateboarding is everything to me because it got me to where I am today.
16:50And when I stopped skateboarding, I pretty much became a raging alcoholic.

16:59When I started skating again, I was skating down at the beach,
17:02and some jock was like, skate or die, dude.
17:04And I just f***ing stopped.
17:05I was like, I'd rather skate because if I don't skate, I'll die.

17:19Celebrity lifestyle, mansions, fast cars, rehab, lost friends, false friends.
17:26Bam's life has been a story of light and shade, really.
17:29Thrown into the limelight, Bam found himself with an entourage, not all of them with his
17:34best interests at heart.
17:35Personally, I love Bam and everything he does.
17:38Skateboarding runs through his veins.
17:40I came away thinking that maybe what we consider success comes in different colors.
17:45And it's important that we count our own blessings every day.
