00:00They believed that they could set a high price point for Trocek and they could possibly maybe overcompensate a little
00:08bit for what they didn't get in the Artemi Panarin trade, because obviously they were a little handcuffed in that
00:13situation.
00:14So they were probably, Drury was probably looking to overcompensate a little bit and get an even bigger haul than
00:21I think a lot of other teams were willing to give up.
00:28Welcome back to Up in the Blue Seats, everybody.
00:31As always, it's Molly Walker and former Ranger Brian Boyle, your hosts.
00:36It's trade deadline day.
00:39Brian is a little bit more well-dressed than I am.
00:42He's been on air actually talking about all the deals going on.
00:46No, not yet.
00:47Oh, not yet?
00:48No, not yet.
00:48Well, he's about to go on to talk about all the other deals that have been going on,
00:53but I've been in my pajamas all day and my phone has had negative messages.
00:59That kind of encompasses what this Rangers trade deadline has been.
01:04Not nearly as many moves as we all once thought just a few weeks ago, I think.
01:10We've all been waiting for the trade call on Vincent Trocek and that one never came.
01:17Brian, are you surprised?
01:20I'm not totally surprised when you saw Minnesota do a bunch of things because I really think they wanted Trocek
01:27and then they started pivoting and did a bunch of things.
01:30I did think, I mean, Detroit had to do something and it looks like they finally made a move and
01:38they got Justin Falk out of St. Louis, which is like, that's something.
01:44I thought they would do a little more and we'll see.
01:47They didn't do nothing though this year, which is something.
01:51With Trocek, I've said it, maybe not on here, maybe I have on here, but I don't know why moving
02:00him was an urgency.
02:02If you get your doors blown off with the deal, fine.
02:07Being that's where this team is right now and what they need to do to kind of recoup some assets
02:13and build.
02:13But he's a great player.
02:16I think he's a great teammate.
02:19Molly, you've been in the rooms all year, all the different, at the home rink, at practice rinks, at visiting
02:26rinks.
02:27And when his name comes up to teammates, you can just hear how genuinely they adore this guy.
02:34So, hanging on to that and not giving that away for cents on the dollar was the right move.
02:40And I think Chris Drury had a reason to value him as high as he did.
02:45He's a great player and a great teammate.
02:48Yeah, I think that the urgency that you referred to was probably more so about the center market right now.
02:56And we kind of saw that over the last couple days of what it kind of turned out to look
03:02like.
03:03I think that they believed that they could set a high price point for Trocek and they could possibly maybe
03:10overcompensate a little bit for what they didn't get in the Artemi Panarin trade.
03:15Because obviously they were a little handcuffed in that situation.
03:18So, they were probably, Drury was probably looking to overcompensate a little bit and get an even bigger haul than
03:26I think a lot of other teams were willing to give up.
03:30Obviously, Minnesota was a team that we had heard was in it kind of from the beginning.
03:35And it became pretty clear that they set, Drury set a high price point for Trocek and they weren't going
03:44to make the trade just to make the trade.
03:46And the price point that they set wasn't met.
03:50So, I think that this was a possibility that they always thought could happen.
03:56But that being said, I do think it could make for an interesting situation just because we've seen what happens
04:05in the past when a player who has been told that they want to move on from him.
04:11And, you know, then he's allowed to walk back into the locker room.
04:14We saw it with Jacob Truba.
04:16And it makes for an interesting dynamic and probably a difficult dynamic for players to fully commit to what's going
04:24on in the locker room.
04:26So, I think that Trocek has been a consummate professional the entire time.
04:31He has shown absolutely zero indication that he wouldn't, you know, be giving 100% to this team so long
04:38as he's here for the rest of the season.
04:42But I just think it's, you know, it's always a little bit of a risk to be sending that kind
04:46of dynamic back into the locker room.
04:48Do you not agree?
04:51Well, his name's out there and you're honest from the start.
04:54And I can only go back to what my own experience was with Ray Shero in New Jersey and with
04:59Steve Eisenman in Tampa.
05:02When your team's at a certain point and you are of value, you're going to hear your name, you know,
05:07out there.
05:09And when you're a player like Trocek, it's going to be out there more because more fan bases are going
05:16to want to hear about if he has a, you know, if there's a potential path for them to get
05:21that player.
05:23Certainly, I think, you know, I don't want to speak for you guys, but writers are probably going to be
05:26interested in other teams.
05:28If there's a connection, you know, if you're writing for Minnesota, you know, if you're Russo in Minnesota and you're
05:34writing for Minnesota, you're going to try and find every piece of information you can.
05:37And if that is a potential fit or it could potentially happen, right?
05:40Like that's.
05:41Of course.
05:42And so the buzz comes up and at no point does that mean you're a bad teammate or the team
05:46doesn't want you anymore.
05:47Of course not, yeah.
05:48If you lose games, it's like you have to make changes.
05:51And, you know, if you're losing games and you're not like a big piece of a team that's losing games,
05:59your value is not that high.
06:01I'm sorry.
06:01Like.
06:02Yeah.
06:02I mean, unless, unless you're Sam Carrick, who.
06:05Right.
06:05I mean, look at the list of guys he fought.
06:07Look at what he does on that team.
06:08Look at the minutes he plays.
06:09Like he never complains.
06:12He's going to have value.
06:13And he goes to Buffalo.
06:15Buffalo had a targeted approach to the trade deadline.
06:17It's like, we have all this skill.
06:19We always get all this skill.
06:21We've had all this skill for a long time.
06:22We've traded away a ton of skill that's gone on to win.
06:25Right.
06:26What was their environment like?
06:27Like, okay, well, the guys that we traded down into Florida are a big, tough, heavy team.
06:33They're mean.
06:33And they all sort of fell in line.
06:35Like the guy that we traded to Vegas went to a big, tough, heavy team that were really mean.
06:39And they want to cover.
06:41Okay.
06:41Let's make ourselves a big, tough, heavy team.
06:43We get Carrick.
06:43We get Shen.
06:44We get Stanley.
06:47Troach, it's like, he's a tough, heavy player who's got a lot of skill.
06:51And he's just won the gold medal.
06:52And he's had playoff success.
06:53So it's like.
06:54Right.
06:55We always loved you.
06:56We signed you to this deal because we love you.
06:58But that's where we were.
06:59But we weren't going to give you up for nothing.
07:02It would have had to be a ton of stuff coming back to us because we still value it that
07:07much.
07:07So like between, I guess I'm saying a long way of saying is between player management, it should be fine.
07:13Unless they're like dangling it in front of them in the off season now.
07:16And the next trade or whatever.
07:17Like that's not.
07:18That's, you don't want to jerk back and forth like that.
07:21Yeah.
07:21That's my only thing is, you know, now.
07:23So I think, you know, I'm always thinking about how I'm sure, especially you could speak to this as a
07:28player.
07:29You want to hear that you're, you know, you're valued and you want to, you know, you want to be
07:33kept here.
07:34And especially in this sort of situation where it's a, they keep calling it a retool and it's not like
07:38a total rethink.
07:39So like, wouldn't you want to tell him that, you know, he's a quintessential part of it moving forward.
07:46Obviously that's what he would want to hear, but obviously it doesn't always work out that way.
07:50But my other concern with the whole situation is, is Drury going to be able to get the same types
07:58of deals that were on the table this time around for Trocek in the off season?
08:02Or if he's able to get that extra piece or two that I'm assuming that he was looking for, you
08:10know, because then we risk dragging this out further into the off season.
08:16And, you know, if you're not able to get those deals, those offers back, you know, to begin with, then
08:23you're just kind of in a, even more of a sticky situation now.
08:27Well, yeah, but I mean, so, you know, Braden Shen goes to the Island, right?
08:34And I loved what the Islanders did, by the way, just a side note.
08:39I mean, they, they traded for him and then they extended Peugeot.
08:43So, so, I mean, I don't know.
08:46In a couple of years, you know.
08:48That's their guy.
08:48Peugeot was always their guy.
08:50No, and he's, look, that guy's skating maybe faster than he's ever skied.
08:53You haven't just watched him play.
08:55Like the guy's actually gained a step.
08:56So I'm not saying like he's older, but like they have older centers now.
09:00They have a window with their, you know, all world defensemen that, you know, they have to strike now because
09:07he's still entry level.
09:08In a few years, he's going to be making $15 million.
09:10So I get it.
09:11Correct.
09:11Yeah.
09:11But like say, say Chris Drury trades Vince Trocek and that trade call comes through and they got a decent
09:18package.
09:19And then you see that, you know, St. Louis just got a first round pick, a third round pick, Jonathan
09:26Drouin.
09:27So that's probably a money thing.
09:28And then a pretty highly touted goalie prospect.
09:31Like.
09:32Right.
09:32If anything, if it came anything less than that for Troch, who's a better player at this stage, I think.
09:38Yeah.
09:38It would have been, you know, the torches would have been out and it wouldn't have been a good look.
09:44It was, I think, I think they said it really high though.
09:46Like I think, yeah.
09:48Like I think it was, you know, the pieces that were out there were Minnesota's 2027 first, Charlie Strammel, another
09:56highly touted defensive prospect.
09:58And I'm sure they wanted like an NHL ready player, like a young guy.
10:02Yeah.
10:02Yeah.
10:03That's, you know, it's funny that you say him because when I initially wrote about the whole situation a couple
10:09of days ago, when I was looking at Minnesota's assets and what they had, I was going to write his
10:15name.
10:15But then I was really looking into it and I was like, they're not going to trade him, you know,
10:19like they're, you know, yeah.
10:20I was like, they're not going to trade him.
10:22So I, you know, I'm sure that that was a piece that they were reaching for 100%.
10:27So, yeah.
10:28I mean, like, yeah, you can't, you can't fault him for shooting for the stars in this situation, especially coming
10:35off of the Artemi situation too.
10:37But I just, I do have concerns with, with, you know, sending a player back into that room after making
10:44him go through all that.
10:45And I think that he'll handle it maybe better than Truba did.
10:50I mean, he can only hope, but I guess we'll see on that front.
10:55But I don't think there was a dangerous play.
10:58Yeah.
10:59But it's not, it is, but it is different because it's like, hey, wave your no move.
11:02He's like, no.
11:03Right.
11:04It's like wave your no move.
11:05No.
11:06Yeah.
11:07And they're like, wow, we might.
11:09Yeah.
11:10If we get a great deal, we might, because we might have to.
11:13Yeah.
11:13We don't want to, but we might have to.
11:15And he's like, okay.
11:16And even just, even just listening to Trocek when we talked to him the other day after his last practice.
11:23Well, I guess it wasn't his last practice, but, you know, him just flat out being like, yeah, I got
11:29West Coast teams on my no trade clause.
11:31Yeah.
11:31I want to go to a team.
11:32That's good.
11:33You know, like he's, he's been through this.
11:35He's, he's a pro at this, you know, so he was very unfazed by it, which I found very entertaining,
11:43honestly.
11:44I'm just, I'm happy for the wife and kids just because it's really difficult.
11:48Oh, yeah.
11:50It's part of the game.
11:51And I, I, I, I kind of want to tweet this right now.
11:54Nobody won trade done Monday more than Leo Trocek.
11:57That was good.
11:58Yeah.
12:00That was, that was, that was one of the most adorable, uh, quotes I think that came out of this
12:05was, was Trocek talking about how his son was like, well, I have a hockey team.
12:10Um, I didn't get traded, so I'll stay here and you can go.
12:14Well, yeah, but his, his season, if it's not over last weekend, it will be next weekend.
12:18I know how the whole hockey, I know the schedule.
12:20Brian's like, I know how it works.
12:22I know how it works.
12:24Oh, man.
12:25Yeah.
12:26So, uh, Vincent Trocek will be in the lineup.
12:30Well, wait, hold on a second.
12:31There was a big win last night.
12:33You can tinker with the lineup now.
12:35There was a big win last night.
12:36Oh.
12:36You can tinker with the lineup now.
12:37Stop.
12:38I actually get out of my face with that.
12:42Um, my boys were entertained.
12:44We were up on the 10th floor.
12:45They were jumping up, singing the goal song.
12:47It was great.
12:48Yeah.
12:48It was, it was a good night, but yeah, we'll get to, let's, let's, uh, talk about Carrick
12:51first.
12:52Uh, Sam Carrick going to Buffalo was also held out of the Leafs game.
12:58So that was a good indication that there was interest there.
13:01I mean, why wouldn't there be?
13:02I mean, I think, yeah, I think that looking at this Rangers roster, he, he's jumped out of
13:08the page off the page since he's been a Ranger, I think.
13:12Um, so the Rangers get a 20, 26 third round pick and a six round pick.
13:18Um, and Buffalo gets a whole maple syrup supplies and, and, uh, and, uh, and an enforcer
13:26and, and, and Sam Carrick.
13:28Um, I liked the move I did and Sam Carrick has, has been just a great Ranger since the
13:36very beginning.
13:37And you always knew what you were going to get from him every single night.
13:40Yeah.
13:41That's the, you know, a great way for a lot of, you know, kids and fans to realize like,
13:50this is a guy who embraced fully what he was asked to do and tried to do that.
13:55You know, it's everybody, when you're young, you try to be the best player on the team.
13:58You want to be the best player in the league, uh, when you're at a certain level and you
14:03get to a certain point in pro where you're like, I have to do my job as best I can
14:07do
14:07it.
14:07And it's like, you go into games.
14:11And I remember when we played the Islanders, like the Islanders weren't great, but they
14:16had a fourth line that was really good.
14:18And whether I was on the third line or the fourth line, like I play against them a little
14:22bit, especially when we're on the road.
14:25And I keep hearing about Heather, the best, this is the best grinder line in hockey.
14:28And we'd have like conversations like, that's who we're playing against.
14:31We got to be better than them.
14:31And this guy does that every, I mean, he had, he had a fight with Tom Wilson in, in
14:37Washington, DC this year, where it was like, nothing had to be said.
14:40Wilson had a big hit on Lava and the first chance that Sam Carrick had, he didn't give
14:44Wilson a choice.
14:45Now Wilson's a willing combatant.
14:48He would, he would blow anybody, but, you know, but Carrick did what he had to do.
14:52And he hung in there and, you know, he stayed on his feet a long time.
14:55And I just like, I got so much respect for the guy, seen him fight the flu one
15:01flight and he was just, did not look good.
15:04Played the next night.
15:05Right.
15:05Like he just doesn't.
15:06Yeah.
15:07He's a warrior.
15:08No excuses.
15:09Just going to go do his job as a chance.
15:11Now, like dude, this Buffalo team, they got heavier.
15:16He's got a chance.
15:17Like they got a chance to do something.
15:18I don't know how long it's going to be because they're in Tampa's division, but they
15:22might, they get in, they might win around.
15:24I'm not, it would not surprise me at all.
15:26Yeah.
15:26I liked it.
15:28Me too.
15:29I liked it too.
15:31And, and you can still go try and sign them in the off season.
15:35Yeah.
15:36That you can.
15:37You might want to raise.
15:38Yeah, you can.
15:39But.
15:40He's earned one, I think.
15:41Yeah.
15:41Yeah.
15:42Yeah.
15:43No, he's at a very affordable price point too.
15:45Um, yeah, no, he, he was, honestly, that Carrick Edstrom Rempe line was one of my favorite
15:52fourth lines that the Rangers have had.
15:54I always loved watching that line play together.
15:56It was electric and talking to him about skating between those two guys too.
16:01It was so funny.
16:03Yeah.
16:03He has seriously.
16:05The thing is he plays just as big as they do.
16:08That's like my favorite part about it is watching him, you know, compete next to guys of that
16:13size.
16:13And he takes up just as much room.
16:15He always does.
16:17Oh, he's in the way.
16:18He's one of those guys in the way.
16:20They flew too close to the sun.
16:22Their wings burned up, Molly.
16:24That line was too short-lived.
16:26Yeah, it was.
16:27I know.
16:28I know.
16:29Such a shame.
16:30Such a shame.
16:32Um, but yeah.
16:33So, so long, Sam Carrick.
16:36We, we shall miss.
16:39Um, six, two win.
16:41Oh yeah.
16:42Oh yeah.
16:42The minor league trade.
16:43Yeah.
16:44Right.
16:44Let's can't.
16:45Well, an older Pouliot goes away and I get it.
16:48It's 24 year old kid.
16:49He, he, you know, maybe he's a late bloomer cause he was in college.
16:52This is only his, this is his first full pro season.
16:56Uh, Pouliot.
16:57No.
16:58Or Thompson.
16:59Thompson.
16:59I think it's his first full pro season.
17:01It's his first.
17:02Yeah.
17:02He's played like four games at the end of last season.
17:06I think after his junior season.
17:08And then Denver ended.
17:09Yeah.
17:10It's not.
17:10Hey, who knows?
17:11Like sometimes these are the deals that are like, what?
17:13That's crazy.
17:15Um, it works out because some guys take a little longer.
17:18So he's 24 and it's like, he's not overly big.
17:21Yeah.
17:22Like, geez, he had a pretty good third season in college and, um, yeah.
17:26It's his first pro season.
17:27We'll see.
17:28Yeah.
17:28And, uh, yeah, they think that he have, has offensive upside.
17:33They think he has winning pedigree because he won a national championship at Denver.
17:37Um, so yeah, they like them small little age.
17:41I'll swap there, but I mean, things are not going, things are not going well in Hartford.
17:47So I don't really think anybody is exactly married to anything down there right now either.
17:52So, um, that one made sense as well.
17:55And yeah, that just about wraps up the Rangers trade deadline right there.
18:00A little prepared for a long show.
18:02Uh, I know.
18:03Show's over.
18:06And, and scene.
18:08Um, but we could talk about the game, but that was a really fun game.
18:13First one on home ice in regulation.
18:16Cause before Thanksgiving, last time we get to say that.
18:1920, 25 was the year.
18:21Yeah.
18:22And you had such a great start to the game.
18:24You had a nice little round of applause from the crowd when you got introduced to the centennial
18:29night.
18:30How was that?
18:31No, it was good seeing everybody.
18:32Wednesday night we had a dinner.
18:34A bunch of the guys were there.
18:35Marion Gabrick flew over.
18:37Uh, Michael Delzato was there.
18:38Brandon Pruss.
18:39Brandon Dubinsky.
18:41Carl Hagelin was there.
18:42Derek Dorsett.
18:43Kevin Kline.
18:45Um, you know, we just, we had a way.
18:47Obviously Hank's there.
18:48Uh,
18:49stealing all the applause and actually Sean Avery's there too.
18:52Uh, it was great to see.
18:53I haven't seen him in forever.
18:54He looks great.
18:55And everybody seems to be doing well, which is kind of what we look at now.
18:59It's tough retiring.
19:00It's not easy.
19:01Um, and then after like 10 minutes, you just, it's kind of back in that, you're back in the
19:06room and everybody's just ripping each other to shreds.
19:09It's the best.
19:10Oh, that's so cute.
19:11So we brought a bunch of kids down.
19:14Um, your kids.
19:16Yeah.
19:16And they were all up there, you know.
19:18Listen to the goal song.
19:20They got some autographs.
19:21They were saying, I, at one point, my son was like, uh, Hank and Carl.
19:26I want Hank and Carl's autograph.
19:28I'm like, there's a lot of really good players here.
19:29You should get everyone's autograph.
19:30I just want the, I'm like, what are you, Team Sweden now?
19:33Like, what are we doing here?
19:35You Team Sweden.
19:36Get over there and get Doobie's autograph.
19:38So, uh, they had a blast.
19:40That's so great.
19:41It was so cool to go down there and just, you know, I love that.
19:47I love that place.
19:48I love the garden.
19:49The garden ice.
19:49It's just, it's a thrill.
19:50They loved you too.
19:52He got, you beat that of everybody.
19:55Hank obviously got the loudest, but yours was pretty loud too from where I was sitting up
19:58there.
19:59Oh, Presti, Abes, these guys, it was just, and we got to play together.
20:02That was, we get to play together for the New York Rangers.
20:04It's the coolest thing.
20:06You know, it's the coolest thing professionally ever.
20:09Playing New York Rangers, playing for Stanley Cup for the New York Rangers.
20:13Man, it was so fun.
20:14And I was trying to just get my boys to have a memory and then they put up six.
20:21So I was just so happy that I'm sure some fans want them to get a better chance at
20:26Gavin McKenna, but like that night, I'll never forget that.
20:30The boys are just going nuts, eating M&Ms, going crazy.
20:32Oh, good.
20:33Eating M&Ms, left and right.
20:36No, I mean, I think the Rangers have done such a great job with the Centennial stuff.
20:41I wrote like a behind the scenes piece.
20:43I interviewed Lundquist and Graves and Richter.
20:47We're all very heavily involved in the whole process.
20:50And they even talked to Larry Brooks about it and Sam Rosen.
20:57So they really made sure to touch all their bases.
21:02And they did such a great job with every single theme night.
21:07Obviously, you wish it was a better season to celebrate it.
21:10But, you know, 100-year history was, I think, honored very well this season.
21:16So stick taps to the Rangers for that, for sure.
21:19And Jackie and Sarah and, you know, Adam Graves is a huge part of it, too.
21:23But, like, in the alumni group, they're so awesome getting us to come back,
21:29giving us opportunities to come back, to do things at the Garden.
21:31They reach out to us to keep us involved.
21:36And, you know what, you know, it's their job, but it's for us.
21:41And we're, you know, not every team has an alumni as strong.
21:45And it's because of those people that do that.
21:48So I want to thank them.
21:49They were just so awesome.
21:51They were also able to get, like, all the family members of all the late players.
21:57Like, that was – I thought that was so awesome that they were able to do that.
22:01It's a huge lift what they do.
22:03And they just – so didn't want to forget them.
22:06And Sam Rosen for coming out and doing all these, too, because he's just a man.
22:10Masterous ceremonies.
22:12Yeah.
22:12I love it.
22:13Best guy.
22:14Yeah.
22:15And, like you said, what a game.
22:17I mean, four answer goals in the third.
22:20That Hevelash goal was absolutely gorgeous.
22:25And I said to him after his interview, I said, I don't think you could have smiled any bigger than
22:32you did.
22:33And then he, again, smiled just as big as he did when he was on the ice.
22:38He was – and it's, like, in a season like this, it's just to be able to see that, see
22:43that elation and that pure emotion from just a young guy who's just starting.
22:48Everybody benefits from it.
22:49Like, everybody can feel a little good about that and seeing that kind of goal and seeing that emotion from
22:55him.
22:55So that was a nice lift to see, too, for sure.
22:58And Adam Edstrom comes back into the lineup for the first time in a very long time.
23:05So he – yeah, he was obviously saying that it's been a while.
23:10You can feel it.
23:11It's been a while since he's been in game action out there.
23:13And he's gone through it with injuries, two major long-term lower body injuries in the span of 10 months.
23:23The first one, he had to get surgery.
23:25He wouldn't say if there was surgery on this second one.
23:29He just said it was taken care of, had to be taken care of.
23:34And I asked if there was going to be any more surgery.
23:37He said it should be all good.
23:40But, yeah, good to get him back in the lineup, too, for sure.
23:43There's – with this young crowd that they've got going on the lineup.
23:47Yeah, get some reps.
23:48Get better.
23:50You know, you get – Lafreniere's got a little more runway.
23:54He seems to have a little bit more confidence.
23:57And so Temi was held out.
23:59He's been pretty good.
24:00Yeah, so that's – these are the things, unfortunately, that you're looking for.
24:05But they're not nothing.
24:06It's not that insignificant.
24:08For the time being, I get it.
24:09I get it.
24:10I get it.
24:12That's what you can look forward to.
24:14Yes.
24:15Yeah.
24:17JT is on IR.
24:19Ooh.
24:19He's an upper body injury.
24:21Yeah.
24:21A new upper body injury.
24:24That looked like a –
24:24Yeah.
24:25Yeah.
24:26He got, like, entangled in front of the net, fell,
24:29and then took a slap shot off the back of the head, neck area.
24:33That didn't look like it was a fun time.
24:35Then he got up and made the sickest play ever.
24:37He sold, like, this wrist shot and just throws this little baby sauce to the middle where it just comes.
24:44Baby sauce?
24:45Oh, yeah.
24:46It was a beauty.
24:47And then that's gorgeous.
24:47I don't think I've ever heard that term before.
24:49Baby sauce?
24:50It's a little baby sauce.
24:51A little baby sauce.
24:53Yeah.
24:53Like, a big Pomodoro is when you've got, like – it's like a 60-footer.
24:58That's so funny.
24:59Because when I first started writing at the Post, some of my first hockey articles,
25:06I used the word sauce, like, as a pass.
25:09And I had to get an email from my editors that was like, let's stop with the hockey slang.
25:15We can't use that.
25:17It's a saucer.
25:18It's a little slang-ish for our taste, apparently.
25:22It flies through the air like a saucer.
25:23I know.
25:24I know.
25:25I had to –
25:25Who's your editors?
25:26Who's your editors?
25:27Let me get them on the wall with me.
25:28You're going to write a letter?
25:29You're going to write a letter?
25:30Better when I'm face-to-face.
25:32It gets my point across.
25:33Yeah, I'm sure.
25:33More convincing, I'm sure.
25:36But, no, I had to, like, take that out of my vocabulary because I used it, like, a bunch of
25:42times.
25:42They were like, Molly, you've got to stop with the sauce.
25:45Stop with the sauce.
25:46I believe you caved.
25:48I did.
25:48I had to.
25:49It wasn't my choice.
25:50Above my pay grade.
25:51All right.
25:53Well, I'm disappointed.
25:54What are you going to do?
25:54It's all right.
25:55We can –
25:56Here, we can describe it as sauce.
25:58Oh.
25:59I'd like to see them write me a letter.
26:01Write me a letter about hockey slang.
26:04I'll teach you the game real quick.
26:06Oh, my goodness.
26:07All right.
26:08I think that is a good place to stop our trade deadline edition of Up in the Blue Seats.

26:26And we'll chat again next week.
26:30Bye.
26:32Bye.
26:33Bye.
26:37Bye.
26:38Bye.
26:38Bye.
