The Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur has allowed an application by FashionValet Sdn Bhd founders Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband Datuk Fadzarudin Shah Anuar to obtain temporary access to their passports for Haj visa purposes.

00:01Fashion Valley founders Datin Vivi Yusof and her husband Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anwar
00:07have been granted temporary access to their passports to apply for visas for their Hajj pilgrimage.
00:14The Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur allowed the application on Friday,
00:18with Judge Rosli Ahmad ordering the passports to be released until Monday, 9 March,
00:24after which the couple must return them to the court.
00:27The couple's lawyer, Sharvin Raj, told the court they needed the documents to complete their visa applications
00:34before booking travel to Maka.
00:36The prosecution raised no objections to the request.
00:40Last December, Vivi and Fadzaruddin were jointly charged with fraudulently authorising a payment of 8 million ringgit
00:47from Fashion Valley to a company called 30 Maple Sendirian Berhad,
00:52without the approval of Fashion Valley's board of directors.
00:55The funds in question were investment monies from national investment bodies Kazana National and PNB.
01:03The alleged offence is said to have taken place at a public bank branch in Bukit Damansara back in August
01:092018.
01:11Both are charged under Section 409 of the Penal Code.
01:14If convicted, they face between 2 and 20 years in prison, whipping and a fine.
