00:12 In a notice of motion filed on Friday, Rosmah sought the release of her passport to make
00:17 three trips to Singapore between August 18 and October 31. Rosmah also stated in her
00:22 notice of motion that she would return to Malaysia to attend her trial dates as scheduled.
00:28 Rosmah intends to visit her daughter, Nuryana Najwa Mohamad Najib, who is currently pregnant
00:32 with her third child and scheduled to give birth on August 28, as well as her family
00:37 in Singapore. She also stated that she had made similar applications before and they
00:42 were allowed by the Court, with no objections by the prosecution. This is Rosmah's fourth
00:48 application for her passport. The Court of Appeal will hear Rosmah's application on Thursday.
00:54 On September 1 last year, the High Court convicted Rosmah on three counts of graft relating to
00:59 the RM1.25 billion solar hybrid project for 369 rural schools in Sarawak. She was sentenced
01:07 to 10 years in jail and fined RM970 million. She is currently out on bail pending her appeal
