00:00Those sort of feeder cattle made anywhere from $4.90 to $5.40 down to those 400 kilo cattle.
00:07Sort of seeing the last of those sort of autumn drop calves and sort of the tails coming through now
00:12and the start of the spring drops we just saw them come online today and they sell very well.
00:19Those sort of low 200 kilo, 220, 250 kilo calves, steer calves made from $6 to $6.50 in the
00:27steer portion
00:27and the heifer portion their sisters made took over $5.00.
00:32So those little calves, you know, cents per kilo rate, very good.
00:36There's a bit more water. It was becoming an issue in South Gippsland
00:39but I think we're back on track there now.
00:42But there certainly was a lot of southern support here today.
00:45We're at the tail end of the autumn drop as they're getting into them
00:48and, yeah, there was quite a few pens with, you know, just a handful in there
00:52but just a, as you say, a tidy up of the balance of those calves from last year
00:58and, yeah, hopefully, well, certainly we know in the April,
01:02second week in April being the next sale here due to the Good Friday.
01:07At the May sale, yeah, there should be more and more of these spring drop calves come forward.
01:11It's around 51 kilos into the M1750.
