05:23to their new body type. But Mattel's global head of dolls, that's her real job title. She says the
05:29revamp is meant to celebrate the original historical characters. And the dolls change in size from 18

05:53You should all go back. This is my home. What can fans anticipate for this final season?
05:58I think a lot of reunions, new locations. Sort of stories or storylines that are perhaps revealed or
06:12tied up? Yes. Are you satisfied with this final season? I don't think you could ever be satisfied.
06:19I honestly think you couldn't because we haven't done all the books. We came back to do the season to
06:25give an ending that was satisfactory or tied up some things. It felt like at the end of season seven,
06:31I certainly felt I wasn't ready to walk away. And I felt it wasn't, I still had an itch to
06:39scratch.
06:40And I think the fans would have felt that as well. But it's hard. How do you tie up something
06:47like this?
06:48Thinking back to season one and the journey you both have been on since then, what has changed the most?
06:53I mean, it's over a decade. My life's completely changed. I'm a mom. I have to navigate working
07:03with also, you know, raising a child and, you know, the kind of difference that is.
07:11It's changed our lives completely, hasn't it? Yeah. I mean, from where we were in our careers to
07:16the opportunity it's given us to, I guess, even like the experience, you know, it's like going
07:21and doing other jobs now or, you know, doing press or anything. It's like, oh, we know we've done this
07:27before now. So it's given us a great deal. I feel very lucky. It's really changed my life, for sure.
07:33Has it sunken yet that you won't be reuniting with each other every day?
07:38I think we've actually sort of found a way of like seeing more of each other.
07:45Yeah, probably. Yeah. Yeah.
07:46I think our friendship is now kind of, I don't know, there's like maybe you take it for granted
07:50because you are seeing each other all the time. So then you don't make the effort to see each other
07:54outside of work as much. Now we have and we do. And I value this man.
08:00Exactly. Likewise. And it's actually for all the cast as well, it's been so nice. Like
08:04just seeing them more occasionally meet up or groups of us, but there's normally quite a few
08:09of us and it's so nice. And there's a great rapport and a great camaraderie there.
08:14Yeah. I mean, we're all still really close. And like, it's funny, we had this walk
08:19before we started filming in Hyde Park. Yeah. And we said at that time, look, we don't know what this
08:23is going to be, but like no one else is going to have the same experience as you and I
08:28are going to have.
08:28And I think that that bond will sustain us for the rest of our lives.
08:33And finally, now that it's really over, do you have closure?
08:37I think we all sort of went and did something right after, you know, I went off and did a
08:43retreat
08:44and you went and climbed the Himalaya. Sophie went to Africa, Richard learned how to fly.
08:50So I think we all sort of had that initial escape or, you know, I wouldn't say exorcist,
08:57but you know, like it's like that thing of like releasing it, but I wanted to process it and I
09:02wanted to honor the experience of the character by letting it go in sort of a healthy way.
09:08It's like, I don't know, like a, I don't know, a good memory or an old friend or something.
09:13It's like, I've definitely now separated myself from it, but it's lovely to be able to come back and,
09:19I don't know, like celebrate the show. And I think the finale is going to be,
09:24the final season coming out is going to be so fun to celebrate with fans.
