00:15You
00:15And it's yellow house to the west
00:30Said two. Yeah watch this left side
00:53How quickly are we going to see us
00:56I'm gonna shoot from here when we go up. We're gonna come around
01:00Put a couple levels in those windows so we get better air flow from the gas
01:04Yep, we're moving
01:09Oh boy
01:13Oh boy
01:14Careful
01:29Oh
01:36Coming out the window
01:37Hey, hey, where's Brandon at?
01:52You're on top.
01:56Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
01:57Where's Brandon at, dude?
01:59Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
02:06You're about to just get Brandon out.
02:07Can you hang up in the attic again?
02:09I have no good room.
02:15We're ready to fall.
02:16Thanks.
02:18We've got two minutes to come out,
02:19but we cannot lift the air in your safety.
02:22Oh, boy, him too.
02:23Movement in the garage.
02:25Hey, come this way.
02:27Hey, let me get in.
02:29Oh.
02:31Turn around.
02:32Turn around.
02:34Keep walking backwards.
02:36Yeah, actually, I am.
02:38What's your name?
02:39Brandon.
02:40Got any weapons on you?
02:41No, man.
02:42All right.
02:43Anybody else in the house?
02:46Just you and Jordan?
02:47Yeah.
02:48All right, have a seat.
02:50All right.
03:15I got to get you a medical clearance,
03:17so we got to pop to St. Mary's.
03:34There's people that are very frequent flyers that can
03:37constantly come in at least once a month.
03:39Good, man.
03:39I haven't seen you since last time you were in here.
03:42I've been here for some reason.
03:44It could be a minute this time, I guess.
03:46Those ones were just kind of used to seeing you.
03:49seeing them a little more often.
03:51Yeah.
03:52Oh, yeah, you really were.
03:54I haven't seen you one, two, six, four.
03:56Why did you have to go to the hospital?
03:58I was in the house for eight, nine hours.
04:02Didn't come out, so I was just gassed out of the house.
04:06Yeah, they hit you with some gas.
04:08That's why I'm wearing this nightgown.
04:10All right.
04:19The SWAT team responded on the calls for service
04:21at an address.
04:22We're continuously deploying drugs, guns,
04:25stolen vehicles from the address.
04:27Someone, will your hands up?
04:28This is the business.
04:29You're serious.
04:30We arrived there.
04:32We contacted a female in the front of the residence,
04:34and then we learned Brandon and Jordan were inside the residence
04:38that several outstanding warrants for their arrest.
04:40You're not leaving.
04:42You're out.
04:43Jordan had several drug-related warrants for his arrest
04:46and numerous pony warrants.
04:48We knocked on the door.
04:49We gave several commands.
04:51They needed to exit the residence.
04:53Still no compliance was gained,
04:54and we called out our SWAT resources,
04:57and they started introducing CS gas into the house
05:00to work on extracting Jordan and Brandon from the house.
05:03Let me tell you what!
05:04I want you to get on the ground!
05:06Do you want to eat drugs or drug cart tonight?
05:10Yeah, it's like not a good experience.
05:12It wasn't fun.
05:14It makes you feel like you can't breathe,
05:15like somebody just punches your chest hard.
05:18Well, we're going to go to number five, man.
05:20It's not good.
05:21He'll make you do what they tell you.
05:28Yeah, I see you right there.
05:29We go ask the nurse really quick to see if you've been medically cleared,
05:32and then I get my process started.
05:35Yeah.
05:35I'm here because I got some traffic warrants out of Delta County,
05:39and cops gassed the house.
05:42I didn't...
05:43I slanted a bottle of whiskey at like 6 this morning,
05:45so I was passed out.
05:46I thought the house was on fire.
05:47So I picked up some charges,
05:48since I didn't exit the building when they requested me to,
05:51which I think is because I'm sleeping.
06:01Do you have anything to poke me, stick me, harm me?
06:03Do you have any drugs or drug cart?
06:04No.
06:04Stand up this law for me.
06:06I've been to this rodeo a couple of times.
06:08Probably my fifth time here.
06:11I've lived all over the country.
06:11This is the only jail I've ever really been in.
06:15Go ahead, stand up.
06:17I had a bunch of weed in here,
06:18but pretty much I got a little out,
06:19but I still smell like you.
06:24Okay, apartment of the handcuffs.
06:28The way he describes to me is sleeping and woke up.
06:31Well, you can sleep through several police cars
06:34with lights and sirens,
06:36sledgehammer to the front door.
06:37It's pretty deep sleep.
06:42All right, brother, good luck to you, okay?
06:43You too, man.
06:44Let's call the SWAT team for some traffic tickets
06:46and some dumb .
06:48Seems like a lot of waste of money and time and effort
06:50for a couple of warrants for two dudes.
06:53But that's the Grand Junction for you.
07:20It's Sunday, and it is Mother's Day.
07:22You good, thank you.
07:23I'll put you up back in the cell.
07:26Some holidays are busier than others.
07:34Hey.
07:35How are you?
07:36Good.
07:36Happy Mother's Day.
07:39Sad to say we came to this encounter again.
07:42At some point, the cycle's gonna end.
07:45Oh, my goodness.
07:54I usually stay out of Virginia Beach, but, you know, it's Mother's Day.
07:58I had to go see the kids.
08:00So I got that teddy bear over there.
08:02I have a six and a four-year-old.
08:04My four-year-old be five in July.
08:06Father of my kids and I are working on co-parenting.
08:10We went to the beach.
08:12We got ice cream.
08:13You know, having fun.
08:15I was on the way back over here, and unfortunately, I got stopped.
08:19She was pulled over.
08:20Reckless driving at 83 miles an hour on a 55-mile-an-hour stretch.
08:24When they ran her in the system, they found out that she had a
08:27active warrant for violation of probation on a misdemeanor charge.
08:31Come on vacation, you leave on probation, and they bring you back with a violation.
08:36Stay out of Virginia Beach.
08:40Stay out of Virginia Beach.
08:42And you know what?
08:43You hit the whole rigmarole, didn't you?
08:45I did.
08:46I figured it out.
08:47I cracked the code.
08:49I can't stop in the ticket.
09:09I can't stop in the car, but I can't stop in the car, but I can't stop in the car.
09:12728 to 537, we have one intake.
09:17Flagler County is a smaller county, but we have all types of individuals in this county,
09:23all types of arrests.
09:26Anything from murder to driving without a license.
09:31All right, hand me your shoes and your socks.
09:33Drug offenders, drug traffickers, that we deal with on a day-to-day basis.
09:39I got pulled over because my license was suspended.
09:44I had no idea.
09:45I would assume it has to do with a toll, maybe.
09:48He searched my car.
09:49I had some marijuana on me.
09:50He found two ounces in some carts.
09:56They were legally acquired, but can't have it in the state of Florida.
09:59So, honest mistake.
10:08Fish and wildlife officer, which is rare for us, picked him up driving at high rate of speed.
10:14He was also cited for driving with his suspended license.
10:19But the major charge is for the marijuana.
10:22How did you get the beat?
10:24How did I get it?
10:25Uh, Las Vegas.
10:26I live here, but I do travel a lot.
10:29I do, like, crypto, stock trading, gambling.
10:34Las Vegas is fun.
10:35A couple of questions before you come in.
10:37Have you ever been in jail before?
10:38No, sir.
10:38Are you going to withdraw a detox off of anything?
10:41No, sir.
10:43Do you have support on the outside of your family and friends?
10:46My life is on the way.
10:47Okay.
10:47It should be here, actually.
10:48Okay.
10:49So, what are your expectations now?
10:51I like to believe in Jesus points.
10:53I'm a very good person, good karma.
10:55He's going to talk to my lawyer, and we'll get through this.
10:57Hands out of your pockets.
10:58Go straight ahead.
11:02Just face that, right?
11:03That's how you use your picture.
11:04Cool.
11:05Make sure my hair looks decent.
11:07Put your back on the wall there.
11:08Back on the wall.
11:09Yeah.
11:09In Florida, marijuana is not approved for recreational use.
11:14It is approved for medical purposes.
11:18I have Crohn's disease, so it helps me with a lot of my pain.
11:22I had my medical card, but it expired.
11:25We're so close to it being legal.
11:27I can't imagine it being too insane.
11:29It's just weed, so.
11:31Turn to the right.
11:32In the state of Florida, you cannot smoke with an expired medical marijuana card.
11:36In charges depend on the amount.
11:4020 grams is the marker, more or less.
11:43Over 20 grams is a third-degree felony.
11:48If bond is set really high, what are you going to be?
11:52I can make bond.
11:53Yeah, even if it was a million dollars, I can make bond.
11:55Yeah, easily, no problem.
11:57Is that from the crypto stuff?
11:58Yes, sir.
11:59Yes, sir.
12:00Yeah, we're good.
12:02We're good.
12:02I'm very blessed.
12:04It's just more just slapping the wrist.
12:06It's going to suck, but what can you do?
12:08You know, that's the law.
12:10You can relax.
12:13Listen, we don't lock up a lot of road scholars.
12:16We're going to get you dressed up.
12:17Thank you, sir.
12:18Some people will come in laughing and joking, and then they hit you with felony charges.
12:26If you get a felony, then you might be with us for a little bit.
12:29And once they realize, it's not that funny anymore.
12:55You're the best at it so far.
12:58Am I?
12:58You are.
12:59That's rare.
13:00I haven't seen you since last time you were in here.
13:02You haven't seen my brother lately, have you?
13:04Yeah, I haven't either.
13:05Me and my brother are 12 years different in age, but he's always been the more irresponsible type.
13:11So that inmate knows my brother, and he speaks with my brother more often than I speak with my brother,
13:16since we split ways.
13:18Is this the new machine?
13:20Yeah, new machine.
13:23What did you guys do to that guy?
13:25Uh, he doesn't like where he's at.
13:28Is it Jordan?
13:29No, I don't know.
13:31We got arrested together.
13:32Oh, together?
13:33Yeah.
13:34Oh, I didn't know that.
13:35I woke up, and there was smoke everywhere after the house was on fire.
13:37So I come running out the door, and then the SWAT team's right there, dude, with freaking ARs pointing
13:41at me, telling them to shoot me in the face, get them around.
13:44They pulled your doors off with the bearcat?
13:46The door was missing, so maybe.
13:47Yeah.
13:48Then they definitely pulled the door off.
13:50It was unlocked.
13:51It was unlocked.
13:52They didn't even...
13:52They could've just turned the knob, man.
13:55Jordan.
13:56I'm gonna go that way.
13:58You already did that.
13:59You look tired.
14:01Yeah?
14:03Let me see your left hand.
14:05I've been a heroin addict for a long time, dude, so I'm pretty sick right now.
14:10How long have you been doing that?
14:12Four to ten years.
14:13Heroin and fentanyl, once you get it inside of you, that's the only thing you want.
14:18It sucks.
14:20It's hell.
14:21It's like a devil.
14:23Can I stand up for this one night?
14:24Yeah.
14:25Yeah.
14:25Actually, Jordan saved my life four days ago.
14:28I had OD on fentanyl, and him and my roommate kicked out my door, and they resuscitated me.
14:33Look at the camera.
14:34I woke up, and Brandon was blue as hell.
14:36Since he wasn't breathing, finally we got a Narcan up his nose, and then he actually came to.
14:43It was like 10 minutes.
14:44I was dead dead, they said.
14:46So Jordan's been hanging around the last couple of days just, you know,
14:49making sure I don't relapse or anything like that.
14:52So I owe my life to Jordan.
14:55All right, I'm going to need you to stand up and stand in the red square.
14:58We're going to get a photo of you, man.
15:00All right, man, you look right directly into the camera.
15:03I hope they do keep me in here so I can get sober and everything.
15:07I've been here.
15:08I've been here before.
15:09I did two years in here.
15:10I can do it.
15:11That's it?
15:12Mm-hmm.
15:13Yep.
15:13All right, thank you, man.
15:24All good?
15:28I think I got it all.
15:29You got it all?
15:30I'm all dripped out now.
15:31We're all good.
15:32This is everything I came in.
15:33Everything?
15:33No underwear?
15:34No.
15:35You can keep this props.
15:36Okay, yeah.
15:38All right, let's do this thing.
15:39Can you come up here?
15:40Is this the lotion?
15:41That's it.
15:42Oh, yeah.
15:43Face snap.
15:44Let me see your right hand for it.
15:47That's pretty cool.
15:48What are your expectations for the next hour, four hours, eight hours?
15:52I'm expecting to get my pit and make a phone call to my wife.
15:55And hopefully, they said bond is just about to be set.
15:59So there's two felonies and a misdemeanor, which is crazy.
16:04It's honestly criminal that I'm here right now.
16:07I don't think anybody should ever be locked up for weed.
16:09That's just...
16:12Revis.
16:14Who pulling?
16:17That is the most comical key I've ever seen in my life.
16:21That is hilarious.
16:22You like that?
16:23Yeah, I do.
16:24It's pretty cool.
16:24Can I go here?
16:25Yeah.
16:29Good move.
16:30Should he be?
16:31I mean, I get paid a lot and I don't even want to be here half the time.
16:35Here he is.
16:36Having a good old time with him, which is good.
16:39If it's going to be your first experience, it might as well be a good one, right?
16:43All right.
17:01How did it go?
17:03Not good.
17:04I need $150.
17:05Come get me.
17:08You got it, Bob, but you got to post it for $150?
17:12Yeah.
17:12Yeah.
17:12Okay.
17:12Because, you know, it's $1,500, 60%.
17:14I need $150.
17:16Right.
17:16Can I get a phone call?
17:17Yeah, absolutely will.
17:23What size shoes?
17:25I got to take this shoes.
17:26Wait, wait.
17:27Come on now.
17:29I'm going to trade your Air Jordans for BBC's finest.
17:35All right.
17:36Do you have a belt or anything on?
17:37He's a size 18.
17:39They might fall off.
17:39I might have seen something.
17:40Uh-oh.
17:41Please don't do that.
17:42I'm not.
17:42It's not on purpose.
17:43That's why I had the belt for it.
17:45You know this guy?
17:47No.
17:47Thanks.
17:48Arden.
17:48Oh.
17:49How'd he come here yet?
17:50No, he's never come here.
17:51He's never come here.
17:51He's never come here.
17:52He's never come here.
17:53Oh, snap.
17:54I don't know, man.
17:55I'm never going to come here.
17:56You got to Google that.
17:58Do you have someone that can come and pick you up?
18:00What's your plan?
18:01Yeah, I'm definitely, I got to go home.
18:05We're going home tonight.
18:06You know, it's Mother's Day.
18:08All right.
18:10Just come right in here, put your hands up on the wall,
18:12and they'll be right over to pat you down.
18:13Why is it smiling like you remember me?
18:15What if you're passing the scene?
18:17You're happy to see me.
18:17No.
18:18You seem like it.
18:19You're going to be able to bond out?
18:20I'm going home.
18:21All right.
18:22All right.
18:22OK.
18:24Hands by your side.
18:25Don't go, OK?
18:26Do you recognize her?
18:27Yes.
18:28A little bit, yes.
18:29I couldn't remember her name, but I do recognize her.
18:32Hopefully she gets happy.
18:34What up?
18:38I'm going to do already, and they don't want to get no .
18:43They don't want to get no .
18:44It's time for the day here.
18:46Come on, I'm going to get no .
19:10Yes, I'm doing the same thing for the other people.
19:13The pen don't work.
19:14Like, no one can make phone calls.
19:25I was pacing in circles.
19:27That's the only thing you can do, really.
19:28It sucks when you're in there with no human interaction.
19:31All you hear is just a loud echo in that room,
19:33and it really destroys your mental psyche.
19:36Especially knowing that you're, for the most part,
19:38you're an innocent, good person.
19:39Like, why am I even in this cell right now
19:41being treated like an animal, you know?
19:42Can you imagine what it feels like
19:44to be here for a long time?
19:45Terrible.
19:45But those people are probably in here
19:47for things that they shouldn't have done
19:49and they had a choice, you know?
19:52On this arrest report against your charges,
19:55I post the bond amount.
19:57Well, so it's like 5,000.
19:58Okay? 5,150.
19:59It's your total bond.
20:00Yeah, 500.
20:02So this is a copy of charge.
20:03That's gonna be your PIN number right here
20:04in case you want to use the phone.
20:06Take that straight, yep.
20:08You know, like, $500 to me is, okay, you know?
20:11But maybe just someone else, possibly.
20:14I just, I don't know, I'm a little out of touch
20:15because, you know, I do a lot of day trading in crypto.
20:19So, like, money to me is more of just a concept, you know?
20:24This whole thing is really stupid.
20:26It's almost just like a carnival, you know?
20:28Like, and no disrespect to the officers here.
20:31I'm sure that even they feel the same way.
20:33Like, this is just dumb, you know?
20:34Felony is still just mind-blowing,
20:36but I know that that's gonna get dropped to a misdemeanor.
20:39You know, I know that for a fact.
20:41I'm obviously not a criminal.
20:42I'm not a bad person.
20:43You know, I shouldn't be here right now, so.
20:46Feel a little bit more lenient if it was, like,
20:49not more than 20 grams.
20:51They'll throw that case out, whatever.
20:53Then I'll get convicted for that.
20:54Something like this for more than 20 grams,
20:57I've seen convictions on those.
20:58I mean, your son.
21:02Even not found guilty or whatever,
21:04for the remainder of his life,
21:05he has to put down he was arrested for a felony.
21:09If he is found guilty,
21:11then your voting rights are compromised,
21:15ownership of firearms is compromised.
21:22Just trying to get out of here,
21:23you know what I mean?
21:24I can't be in a jail cell.
21:26They're not gonna give me my supplements
21:27that I need to break down food, you know?
21:29Like, I can't even eat the food
21:30that they're offering me.
21:31I have to sit here and starve.
21:33It would kill me.
21:33I would do that.
21:35I will bail out at whatever it takes, you know?
21:38I shouldn't be here right now.
21:46I was gonna get you to bring in the apartment.
21:49They don't want you to go up.
21:51I'm not perfect.
21:52All right.
21:53Thanks for this, too.
22:01We're coming.
22:01I'm just...
22:02You're coming to get me?
22:04Huh?
22:04You're coming to get me?
22:07Yeah, come...
22:08Come and get me.
22:10As soon as possible.
22:13ASAP.
22:15Yeah, you gotta get a Bondsman.
22:18You gotta, I...
22:19Look, this is new to me, too.
22:22Google Virginia Beach Bondsman.
22:24We didn't talk about this jacket though.
22:27I got stopped at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
22:29It was cold, the sun was going down,
22:32it was a little windy.
22:33I'm like, hey, I'm gonna get my jacket.
22:34I thought my jacket was in the trunk.
22:37Who jacket was?
22:40An ex.
22:42Why did you have an ex jacket in your trunk?
22:45No, the it won't in there when I cleaned up the seat.
22:49It's an ex jacket in the car.
22:52It's that jail right now.
22:54No, it was not.
22:56I know it wasn't, I cleaned the car.
22:59See, that's that where it hang up.
23:01That's that where it hang up.
23:04You didn't hang up?
23:05When I started asking questions
23:06and he started prolonging answering the question,
23:10the phone say you got one minute remaining.
23:13After it does that, I can't get a dial tone now.
23:17Why is the ex jacket in the car?
23:19Sir, you f***ed up.
23:23You definitely f***ed up.
23:38So what are you guys serving?
23:39Uh, tacos tonight.
23:41I really used to feed you anything.
23:42You're starving here all the time.
23:45So, got me stealing trays last time.
23:48I just f***ed up.
23:50Yeah.
23:53Come on.
23:54Come on.
23:54Come on.
23:55Come on.
23:56Come on.
23:58You're the fooling.
24:00You're the fooling man.
24:03It's only 20 days in the hall if you can pass.
24:05Water.
24:07I'm going to keep on doing it.
24:08You just wanted to second me.
24:09I saw it.
24:10Yeah, yeah, yeah.
24:11I saw it.
24:11You've seen today?
24:12I did.
24:13I did.
24:15You just sat down.
24:16You got in line.
24:18What?
24:18You got in line.
24:20Sure.
24:22Yeah.
24:23Nobody coming this time.
24:34I'm about to go to court.
24:35So, we have to see what happens, if I get out or not.
24:39In this case, they can restate my bonds.
24:41If they don't, I get to stay here.
24:43And that's probably what's going to happen, is I get to stay here.
24:46I have you in here on a couple of warrants.
24:48One out of Lakewood County, one out of Delft County, and then you have some new charges
24:52with us.
24:53Yeah.
24:53We're going to go to court for, I believe it's the Lakewood County case and our local
24:57cases, today at 1.30 in the afternoon.
25:00I'm about to go see the judge.
25:01Hopefully, he gives me some PR bonds, and I walk out of here around 5 o'clock.
25:11You know, I actually just went to court.
25:15I would have already been done.
25:16But me catching more charges on top of that, that's what's me.
25:20Some PR bonds, man.
25:22PR bonds for all.
25:24I'm going to go off.
25:54so you can just walk through the door to the hospital.
26:00They already have got me a deal.
26:02I should be out on the end a couple weeks.
26:07So I'm just going to be in here, I guess,
26:11until my cases are done.
26:17Still in jail.
26:19How many days?
26:2020, I think.
26:23So I'll be getting housed pretty soon, I think.
26:26I'm detoxing still, so I'll be here for another couple days,
26:28and then I'll send you into a housing.
26:31It's a real bummer of a situation to be coming back into Mesa County jail.
26:34This is the only jail I've ever been to, you know?
26:37I lived in California for 12 years, never got any trouble.
26:40It's just this town.
26:41There's too many cops, too few people.
26:44They're trying to make it a better town.
26:45They're trying to, like, gentrify the town.
26:47They're trying to, you know, make it more presentable
26:51to higher-end folk, you know?
26:53Trying to get a little riff-raff out of here.
27:00Everybody I know is in here.
27:02Yeah.
27:02Last time I came in here, there was 18 people inside the booking.
27:05I knew every single one of them.
27:26I'm not gonna find somebody else.
27:28You gotta have a backup.
27:30You gotta have a backup.
27:33Got me about to beat somebody up over a jacket, I might have to stay in here.
27:38I cleaned that car just last week.
27:41That jacket wasn't in there.
27:43That jacket wasn't in there a week ago.
27:46Hey, you know what bail wants me.
27:51Apparently, from what I was told, you have to call them to give them the 150 to bail me out.
27:58Say 1,500 bonds, if you're going to use a bondsman, you got to pay 10%.
28:03So that would be 150 to the bondsman, and then he'll bail for you to get you out.
28:07So you have to have a bail bondsman in order to get the 150 to get me out.
28:14Am I liking it in here, bitch? You real funny. Hell no, I ain't liking it in here.
28:18I'm shackled with one arm and talking to you on the night.
28:21Get down here. How long?
28:24Oh, that hung up.
28:25So you're worried about the jacket, but you had somebody else come and fail you.
28:29What if they both show up?
28:30Then that's fair game.
28:32That's fair game, because who the jacket is that?
28:36That jacket was not in that car.
28:38I know that jacket wasn't in that car.
28:56It's just the longest process for no reason.
28:59It's where everyone else has been able to call people.
29:01Like, within an hour of being here, and I've been here for about six hours on weed, and I can't
29:05call nobody.
29:07It's like I just, like, committed the worst crime ever.
29:11Were you able to get a hold of your wife?
29:13Not yet.
29:19No speaker.
29:25Hello?
29:26Hey, baby.
29:27It's me.
29:28You're coming?
29:28I'm hoping to get you.
29:29Okay, cool.
29:30Um, bond was set to, like, 5,000, so it's more like 500 bucks.
29:34How are you doing?
29:35Are you okay?
29:35Um, this sucks, but I'm ready to get out of here.
29:38We'll talk more later, but just get me out of here.
29:41I know.
29:42I'm crying.
29:44All right.
29:44Well, I'll see you soon, then.
29:46Okay.
29:47Yeah.
29:49All right.
29:49We're going down.
29:50We're going out of here.
29:51We're going down.
29:51Since it's fakes.
29:52Done, we will move him down to, um, the housing unit.
29:58All right.
29:58That's yours.
30:00This is yours.
30:01Thank you, sir.
30:02Now we go.
30:02Cool.
30:03Thank you, sir.
30:05Definitely really nerve-wracking.
30:07I'm supposed to be getting bonded out.
30:08I'm not sure why I have a bag and all this.
30:11She's trying to get me out of here as fast as possible.
30:13The bond's been just working as fast as he can.
30:15All right, gentlemen.
30:16We're going to go upstairs.
30:17It's going to be cell eight.
30:20Cell eight.
30:21I don't know why it takes so long.
30:23Um, I've never been incarcerated before.
30:26So...
30:30They're not trying to make me stay overnight.
30:33Yeah.
30:33I'll get it.
30:39It's been total.
30:43Yeah, we'll start.
30:44Yeah, we'll start to wait for you.
30:51And you can find a eye on a hitter.
30:54Yes, yes, yes.
30:55Until they get me.
30:57Yeah, it looks so nice.
30:58Pretty cool.
31:00This guy is cool with lace.
31:01I'm just here for trespassing.
31:05Just metal.
31:06Yeah, and that's concrete.
31:08Yeah.
31:09If I slip a , I'm good, though.
31:14All over a little bit of weed, too.
31:16That's insane.
31:17As soon as Booking gets your bond,
31:19they'll call down to us.
31:21We'll pull you out and bring you back down to Booking.
31:23But I don't know.
31:24I guess that's really the best it's going to get.
31:26You could do it a little bit quicker, though.
31:47What are you talking?
31:49Just let it rip.
31:50I'm not in Booking anymore, you know?
31:52Got out of the Booking cells,
31:54and now I'm in a general population,
31:56well, almost anyways,
31:57where it's called intake here.
31:58Are you planning to get to your cell?
32:00I was.
32:01I'm bored.
32:02I am sober now.
32:04That's a much better feeling than coming off of drugs.
32:06There was a wind.
32:07We should be going on our cells.
32:08I'm doing better.
32:10My brain is functioning much better.
32:11I'm reading books.
32:12I got good cellmates.
32:13That's the best you can ask for around here.
32:15That cell that'll wipe my whistling.
32:17Yeah.
32:18Tell me about why you're not outside the cell right now.
32:22Stolen tray.
32:25Water.
32:27I just got in line, got my tray,
32:29went back, sat down, took my shirt off,
32:30and walked back in line, got another tray.
32:33I, Deputy A, consulted my camera recordings
32:35and watched inmate Brandon take a tray from the car,
32:38return to his cell, and return for a second tray
32:40at approximately 11.53.
32:42For this, Brandon should be written up
32:43for the following rule of violation,
32:45theft of anything or possessing of anything stolen property,
32:48hence the stolen tray.
32:54So after hearing today, I turned the recording off,
32:57and I'm like, you know, you guys should probably give Dave a promotion,
33:00because I've been doing this the whole time,
33:02and he's the only one that happened.
33:03He's the only one doing his damn job.
33:05Oh, they started busting up laughing at you.
33:07So since I was so honest, they were very nice,
33:09and they only gave me half the time
33:11that suggested punishment should be.
33:12So instead of 14 days, I only got seven.
33:14Whoop-de-doo, I'm in jail.
33:16What a punishment, you know?
33:18Usually when they're on sanctions,
33:19they're in the stripes in here.
33:20Or any other pod too, so.
33:22So don't remind his mom.
33:24Well, now I'm going to order them for you,
33:26since you remind me, so.
33:27Oh, it's like that.
33:28I don't normally leave here anyways,
33:30so we're good.
33:31I sit in here and read books, you know?
33:33I got issues with other inmates,
33:36and I don't want to have to beat anybody up, you know?
33:41You move from booking, which is a, you know,
33:44pretty much the worst part of jail, you know?
33:46And then you get into here,
33:48and people are a little more tolerable
33:50because they've gone through the drug addiction
33:51and all that.
33:52Then you start seeing your homies.
33:55Look at this.
33:55What's up, homie?
33:59You guys are going to get together, you think?
34:01Oh, yeah.
34:01Always.
34:02Always.
34:03We'll always be friends.
34:04No matter what.
34:05Chewbacca and Han Solo, bro.
34:06Loan the life dead, dude.
34:09That's for real.
34:11I've been using drugs since I was 10 years old, man.
34:13I grew up in a trap house.
34:14For the first time in my life,
34:15I think I'm actually going to see
34:17what it's like to be sober.
34:18I've always been a pretty functional addict,
34:20construction company,
34:21and, you know, like, I'm a foreman,
34:22so if I can do it while high,
34:24I think much better I can do when I'm not high.
34:31Yeah.
34:42Hello?
34:43I hate that.
34:44Were they able to get a bondsman?
34:46Yeah.
34:49Here's my boss.
34:50Hold on to him.
34:53This way.
34:57I'm waiting.
34:58I'm ready to go.
35:01All right.
35:02I'm going to have to look at the gray camera.
35:05How's my hair?
35:06Looks good.
35:08All right?
35:09All right, you good.
35:10That is not cute, girl.
35:18That's not cute.
35:21At least I could update my profile picture.
35:28Sometimes you just got to make the light
35:30out of the dark, so.
35:33Way to go.
35:34Left hand first.
35:41Fire alarm went off.
35:43Fuck that one.
35:48This is happening off.
35:49It doesn't.
35:50We're going to have to get you out of this building.
36:06We're going to have to go.
36:11For a protocol, we have to get you out of the building so that we can account for your presence
36:16here.
36:23It could be an actual fire that's going on, or it could be one of the inmates pop the sprinkler
36:27head.
36:28Any word on what's going on?
36:31All right, so this is, we're going to step outside.
36:34We're going to have to do some damage.
36:36We're going to have to get out.
36:36To hide something like this, what kind of annat is that he completely lied.
36:42We're just like, no, I know we're EÄŸer.
36:52Sometimes, maybe we'll have to go on a mobile phone.
36:55The camera is going to be free and understood.
37:00With these people long after us want to have to be able to have to keep his sons
37:03at the end of the night it would have been great to see the outcome of her
37:06jacket story but that's something that we are we won't know
37:33let's hear it from the ship
37:39turn around i'm going to pass you down real quick we'll get you done booking

39:07What do you do here now?
39:09Picking up my husband from jail.
39:13Hey, just to let you know, we have Jacob being released.
39:17Looks like his significant other came through.
39:21So right now, we're just going to be processing his paperwork,
39:24and then we'll be getting him out shortly.
39:30How are you feeling?
39:31Much better.
39:32I was really feeling like throwing up in there.
39:34It's not cool.
39:36Some people are in there for much longer.
39:37I don't know how they do it.
39:38It's really not a good thing.
39:40Some dude just can't even sleep because the lights are on.
39:42Some dude's just screaming in there.
39:45Go around the left here.
39:48Are you in any way upset at your husband for this?
39:52He's going to hear it.
39:54He's going to hear it.
40:00He's going to hear it.
40:08Let's go.
40:09Yeah, straight up.
40:14Good.
40:14Today's fun.
40:15Yeah.
40:18I miss you.
40:19It was only, you know, a day.
40:22But, you know.
40:24Everything about it, like, not cool.
40:27Good luck to ya'll.
40:29I guess I ain't a lot of drive if I pick this up, thank you.
40:58Hey, can I get you guys to send Mr. back down here?
41:05What's going on today?
41:07Getting out.
41:09You got any plans today?
41:12All right, everything you were invested in them.
41:14He was housed and had a 30-day jail sentence,
41:16and then become an inmate worker,
41:18help earn a couple extra days of credit,
41:21so that way they can get out a little sooner.
41:23How's it feel?
41:25Good.
41:26I hate you, brother.
41:31Are you going to come back?
41:33No.
41:36I'm coming from a good family.
41:41Oh, damn.
41:42I still have this.
41:46It was kind of like, wake up, I'm getting too old for this,
41:48and realize where I need to go and what I need to do.
41:53Yeah, they did wash it.
41:54Yeah, that's crazy.
41:55Being an addict was really hard.
41:58You can either beat the disease or let it kill you one or the other.
42:02I've seen people come out of here, go and get high and die.
42:06First day.
42:07And that ain't going to be me.
42:09Today, I guess I reborn.
42:12Oh, here's my dad.
42:15For me.
42:18Yeah, I noticed that.
42:20At least it's your last time, right?
42:22Yeah.
42:23All right, man.
42:23Good luck, okay?
42:24All right.
42:25See you guys later.
