Liverpool memorial for James Bulger vandalised; £15,000 raised for repairs

Two cherub statues at the grave of murdered toddler James Bulger were smashed. Donations have flooded in to restore the headstone after the attack.

00:24described the damage as devastating. She has since launched a GoFundMe appeal in order to

00:29help restore the memorial. She was alerted by a dog walker and hurried to the cemetery.

00:35Merseyside Police called the attack abhorrent and truly shocking,

00:39adding they will investigate to identify those responsible.
