00:00A man has been sentenced for causing religiously aggravated damage in a Leeds hospital's multi-faith
00:06room. Abraham Iqbal, of No Fixed Abode, received 40 weeks imprisonment at Leeds Magistrates Court
00:13after being found guilty of two counts of religiously aggravated criminal damage
00:17and one count of criminal damage. Officers said Iqbal caused damage to framed Islamic scripture
00:24and multiple Qurans at the Bexley wing of St. James's Hospital on the 29th of November last year,
00:32later blocking sinks and toilets. A further incident occurred on the 9th of December.
00:37He was detained after attempting to enter the room again and committed additional
00:42anti-Semitic graffiti while in custody.
