UK: Hundreds of mourners turn out for funeral of stabbed schoolboy

Thousands gathered at Sheffield Cathedral for the funeral of 15-year-old Harvey Willgoose, who was fatally stabbed at school on February 3.

His red and white coffin, honouring his beloved Sheffield United FC, was carried into the service, which was live-streamed outside.

Mourners wore team shirts, and the cathedral choir sang the club's chant, ‘Greasy Chip Butty.’

A private burial followed at City Road Cemetery. Harvey’s family described him as a “beautiful boy” and “best friend to all.”

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder, with a trial set for June 30.
