00:09Well, hello and welcome to BBC One Scotland viewers, this is Open All Mics and another jam-packed afternoon of
00:18Scottish football, some really terrific action right round the country and we're about to bring you right up to date
00:24with all that's been going on and we'll start with the league leaders' hearts, they're at home to Tynecastle.
00:30That one has been watched for us by Willie Miller.
00:33Yeah, as it stands just now, hearts are leading and dominating the game, it was a superb goal from Claudia
00:41Braga, well worked down the right-hand side by Kabori who took on Morrison, left him for dead and then
00:51cut it back to the striker who slotted it away expertly.
00:55They have totally dominated this game, have the home side, Aberdeen really struggling so much so that they had to
01:01change their shape at half-time and go to a five at the back and basically in the second half
01:07they've just defended, they've just defended their goal and it's just been a case of waves of attack from hearts
01:15time and time again.
01:16They've stood up quite strong, they look a lot better defensively and if you add Nielsen into the mix as
01:22well who come on as a substitute and is just sitting in front of the back three then you can
01:26understand why they're looking solid.
01:28But it's all about the home side, it's all about hearts so far anyway.
01:32The only threat for Aberdeen has been Ola Sanya with his pace and power up front but they've hardly, in
01:40fact, they don't think they have created an opportunity.
01:42Maybe the Nicky Devlin shot that was blocked in the second half.
01:46So at this moment in time, hearts are looking good for the full three points, they lead 1-0 here
01:52at Tynecastle.
01:53Thanks very much, Willie.
01:54So hearts topping the table and looking to extend their advantage at the top to seven points.
02:00Rangers and Celtic, of course, in action tomorrow in second and third.
02:05Fourth place, Motherwell at home to Dundee United this afternoon.
02:08That one's been watched for us by Stephen Cragan.
02:10I'm Dean Alistair with, what, 16 minutes to go plus out of time.
02:14It's Motherwell at home side that lead by two goals.
02:16It's been the man of the season for Motherwell, the top goal scorer, top goal scorer in the Scottish Premiership.
02:22Tawanda Maswanisi has got a double.
02:23The first one after 37 minutes, an off-the-ball incident involving himself and Cheve of Dundee United.
02:29Nick Walsh had a look at the screen, give a penalty to Motherwell.
02:32An upstep Maswanisi to send Ashley Maynard Brewer the wrong way for 1-0 at halftime.
02:37Within minutes of the second half, it was 2-0.
02:39It was an innocuous shot, I have to say, by Maswanisi at the edge of the box.
02:42Took a big deflection off Cheve and it ricocheted past Maynard Brewer, who had went the other way.
02:47It was completely wrong-footed.
02:49Since then, Motherwell have taken the foot off the gas a little bit.
02:51It's been quite routine.
02:52They've been a little bit sloppy.
02:53The closest Dundee United came was just a few moments ago.
02:56Direct from a corner kick, Trapanowski, one of four subs made by Jim Goodwin just after the hour mark.
03:01Here, an in-swing and corner kick crashed off the post.
03:04But apart from that, Dundee United have rarely threatened the Motherwell goal.
03:07It's all about Motherwell, can they add more goals or will they settle for what they've got?
03:11They're certainly pushing forward.
03:12Björg Olvesen had a shot a couple of minutes ago.
03:14It was well saved by Maynard Brewer.
03:16But with 15 minutes to go, it's Motherwell 2, Dundee United 0.
03:19Yeah, thanks, Stephen.
03:21A massive game at the foot of the table involving bottom side Livingston.
03:26And the third bottom, St Mirren, must win for either side.
03:29You would have to see who is in front.
03:31Alan Preston can tell us.
03:32Well, it's Livingston now, St Mirren, one Alistair at the moment.
03:34Yeah, massive game for both, but it certainly doesn't seem that for Livingston.
03:38They've been dreadful this afternoon.
03:40St Mirren deserve to be ahead.
03:41Richardson with a header that hits the bar and they took the lead in 44 minutes.
03:45Mandarum with a cross.
03:46Lindeloo with a looping header over the pre-order in the back of the net.
03:49It was 1-0 at half time.
03:51With this chance, Livingston not won a game, a league match in 203 days.
03:57This result tonight, if it stays the same as it is, there will be five clear of fall cuts at
04:02St Mirren
04:02and a really big afternoon for them because they've only taken two points out the last 30 on the road.
04:07So, a massive 15 minutes still to go here at Livingston.
04:10And it's still Livingston 0, St Mirren 1.
04:13Yeah, thanks, Alan.
04:14Yeah, two other big games going on.
04:17One of them is up at Daines Park between Dundee and Hibernia.
04:21And John Rankin is watching that one.
04:23Yes, it's 2-1 here at Daines to the home side, the second half.
04:28Luke Graham has actually just put in D in front.
04:31After 11 minutes, the game came alive.
04:34Owen Eldon came with a header at the front post where Nicky Caden crossed.
04:39He put Hibbs in front.
04:40That lead, however, only lasted for four minutes.
04:43And in the 15th minute, it was a long searching ball from Luke Graham.
04:46It was that man, Simon Murray, cutting inside.
04:48A deflected effort made it 1-1.
04:52The game became an even battle at that point.
04:55It was all over.
04:57Goal!
04:58Cobham-Golo!
05:00It's just a ball into the box.
05:01It's a high looping cross.
05:03And there's Cobham-Golo for the second goal in a week.
05:04A great header into the bottom corner.
05:07Have Livingston got hope with 15 minutes to go?
05:091-1.
05:11Well, that could be a really big goal in the context of the battle at the bottom.
05:17Cobham-Golo with that terrific opening goal at home to Rangers on Sunday.
05:22And now he's got what could be an equally precious one at home to St Mirren to give Livingston a
05:27chance of going on,
05:28potentially to take all three points there in that crucial game.
05:33I'm sorry to cut John Rankin off on his prime, but I think we've got the gist of it.
05:372-1.
05:38Dundee lead with Luke Graham having put his side ahead in the closing stages against the Burnie.
05:43And that leaves the game at the Falkirk Stadium.
05:45We've saved the best to last, arguably Falkirk against Hebs.
05:49And Rory Loy is there for us.
05:50Yes, indeed.
05:51There have been six goals in this game.
05:53Five of them from Falkirk as they look for another.
05:56Oh, here.
05:57Oh, Kelroos saves.
05:59The referee should have stopped the game, actually.
06:00There's a head knock.
06:01The game's still going on.
06:03Oh, how Falkirk haven't made it six.
06:05Sorry, I'll get to the goals in a second.
06:07The first goal came within 30 seconds of the match starting.
06:10Miller cut inside, went to cut it back, and it deflected off Ethan Brown for 1-0 to the home
06:16side.
06:16It was then a Barney Stewart header, which was palmed out pretty poorly by Roos, it has to be said,
06:21into the path of Tate for 2-0.
06:23Stewart headed again from a Donaldson volley, was glanced into the far corner.
06:27Really good finish, I have to say, on that one.
06:29And then Kilty pulled one back with a shot from 25 yards.
06:33It was 3-1 at halftime to Falkirk.
06:35And then on the second half, they started again like a train.
06:37Barney Stewart tapped home to make it 4-1, and Tate's strike from 20 yards made it 5-1.
06:44There's been a raft of changes since.
06:46Falkirk well worth their lead, and there's probably about 15 minutes to go in this one, Al.
06:53Thanks, Rory.
06:54Mark Stowe has made it 3-0 for the Spartans at home to Annen.
06:58That's his 14th league goal of the season.
07:03Actually, let's delve into the championship, though.
07:06Derek Ferguson is watching second place, Partick Thistle at home to third place.
07:10Arbroath, how's it going, Derek?
07:11Yes, still no scoring at the moment.
07:14Al, that first half, as I told you earlier, it was absolutely dreadful.
07:18So, the least said about it, the better.
07:20The second half certainly been better from an Avroath point of view.
07:24They've been the brightest side.
07:25A couple of efforts at goal through Marshall and Nisbet.
07:28Then it got even worse for Thistle, you know, who have been so poor this afternoon.
07:32And O'Reilly sent off, violent conduct, I'm told.
07:36I think it was no more than showing his studs from a Dow shot.
07:41They're down to 10 men, but they're showing a lot more ambition.
07:44Getting themselves forward, shots at goal now, balls into the block.
07:47So, at least we've got a lot of excitement.
07:49Have we got a winner?
07:50Well, we've got about, what, 15 minutes left at the moment.
07:53Partick Thistle 0, Abroath 0.
07:55Thanks, Derek.
07:57Thistle began the afternoon three points behind the league leader, St Johnston,
08:02who are at home to Air United.
08:03And watching that one is Chris Doolan.
08:05Yeah, and it's still St Johnston 2, Air United 1 here in Perth.
08:09And the second half's been just as entertaining as the first half so far,
08:12albeit we've not had any goals yet.
08:14But the scoring was opened after the 15th minute for St Johnston by Rhys McAleer.
08:21It was a fantastic ball-in by Jamie Gulland.
08:23It was well dealt with from the free kick,
08:24by Air United.
08:25And it landed at the feet of Rhys McAleer, 20 yards per go.
08:29And he hit a fantastic, low-driven ball into the bottom corner on the half volley.
08:33But the lead only lasted two minutes.
08:35Air hit back.
08:36Liam Dick with a header, a glancing header,
08:38coming in off that wing-back position to pull Air back into it.
08:41But that was their only real opportunity in the first half.
08:44Then the lead was extended on the 42nd minute by Cech Diabati.
08:50Again, another gulland cross came in from a corner.
08:52And he found himself unmarked inside the box.
08:54And he headed a fantastic ball into the top corner to make it 2-1 at halftime.
08:59And in the second half, the position's probably been balanced on both sides,
09:03albeit we've not had huge chances.
09:05Sam Stanton had a shot blocked.
09:07But apart from that, it's been 50-50 in terms of chances just now in the second half.
09:11But it's still St Johnstone 2, a United 1.
09:14Thanks, Chris.
09:15Curtis Mayne has just been sent off for Morton.
09:17That's them down to nine men after Cammie Ballantyne was sent off in the first half.
09:22So their early lead in that game has been cancelled out.
09:24And they now trail 2-1 away to Airdrie.
09:28Donfermline, one up on Queen's Park.
09:30And Ross County, 2-0 up on Wraith Rovers.
09:33That's the other scores in the championship.
09:35Michael Stewart alongside me here in the studio.
09:37It's been quite the afternoon once again.
09:40Yeah, absolutely.
09:41It's getting to the stage where things are a little bit tense.
09:47But as Tom was talking about before, you look at the game at Tynecastle
09:51and it's been a very strong performance from Harts.
09:55But they're only 1-0 up.
09:57And obviously, Motherwell getting their noses in front in the first half.
10:03Extend their lead in the second.
10:04Looking good for the three points.
10:07I mean, Falkirk, obviously, from...
10:10The game at Falkirk Stadium.
10:12That is a thoroughly impressive scoreline at the moment.
10:16It really is.
10:17Cementing their place in the top six.
10:20Dundee.
10:21You know, that could be a huge one for them just to solidify themselves in the league
10:27and really start to look up the table.
10:30And if it stays that way at the moment, it just sort of feeds into that sense of, from Hibb's
10:36perspective,
10:37a couple of good performances and results.
10:39And then they really need to back it up with another one.
10:42And at the moment, it looks like Dundee are the ones that are going to see it through.
10:46Yeah, they do.
10:48Spartans have gone four up on Annen at Smartman Nolte's hat trick seal with a penalty.
10:54Burnley have come from three goals down to lead Brentford by four goals to three.
10:58Fleming with the fourth goal in that one.
11:00And Ayrsie up against the nine men, as I mentioned, of Morton.
11:05Our three-one up.
11:05Yeah, who's that?
11:06John Rankin.
11:07Two-two here at Dens.
11:08Two-two at Dens.
11:09It's a ball over the top.
11:10It looks as if a Dundee defence stop expecting...
11:14They almost expect the linesman to put his flag up, but he doesn't put his flag up.
11:17And it's anti-Suto.
11:18Just pushes through John McCracken's legs.
11:21Two-two at Dens.
11:23That's a huge goal for Hibb's for Suto.
11:26Looks like he's onside, Mikey, would you say, on the first three runs?
11:29It does, but it's very difficult to tell on those big screens.
11:33It's definitely tight.
11:34Yeah, it is tight, but it's a big goal for Hibb's.
11:36I was just talking about it there.
11:37You know, they need to back that up.
11:41I'm just looking at Stramash at Tyne Castle.
11:45It is, it is.
11:46I don't know where it's going, Michael.
11:49There was a bit of contact inside the box as well.
11:52Was it frame that went down?
11:54I didn't think it was a penalty.
11:55But Aberdeen finding a little bit of life.
11:59A little, kind of a pocket.
12:01It's Stuart Armstrong, isn't it?
12:02Is it Armstrong that goes down in the second?
12:06It might have made more of it, I thought.
12:08It's not.
12:08It might have made more of it.
12:09I didn't think it was at the time.
12:11But you get it coming together, isn't it?
12:13You can understand from Aberdeen's perspective,
12:15and Stuart Armstrong, I don't know why he's thinking it,
12:16but it's not.
12:17Definitely claim for it.
12:18A hundred percent.
12:19But I mean, this is the classic situation of, you know,
12:23when it's 1-0, and you're dominating,
12:27how, you know, you just, you need to dominate the scoreline
12:31and get another goal to see it, oh, the opposition off.
12:35Otherwise, it gives them a little bit of hope.
12:37But what a chance that was for a growth.
12:40Guys, I'll tell you what, it's a brilliant save from the keeper,
12:43but brilliant work from Stuart.
12:45Just lays it back to Marshall,
12:46and it catches it ever so well,
12:48but it's a brilliant touch from the keeper,
12:50just over the bar.
12:51So, it's going from end to end.
12:53So, certainly getting a game now.
12:55Is it a winner?
12:56That still remains to be seen.
12:58Still nothing to each here at Firhill.
13:00That fourth Burnley goal has been chopped off, actually,
13:03by VAR.
13:06So, three apiece again in that one.
13:09So, we're coming towards the closing stages of all the games
13:12around the country.
13:14Two all at Denz Park between Dundee and Hibbs.
13:17Falkirk cantering to victory over Kilmarnock.
13:205-1, they lead Harps with a narrow advantage over Aberdeen.
13:241-0.
13:25One apiece at Ammon Vale between Livy and St Mirren.
13:28And Motherwell, two goals to the good against Dundee United.
13:31That's your Premiership up to date for you, Tom.
13:35That game at the bottom, Livingston and St Mirren.
13:37Livingston have given themselves a slight lifeline there
13:40with the equaliser, you would say.
13:42I still can't see it.
13:44I still can't see Livingston saving themselves.
13:47A bit of a lifeline today, but...
13:49It was up no good.
13:50It was up no good.
13:51It was up no good.
13:55Here's the roar of Time Castle.
13:58How's that not a free kick?
14:00How's that not a free kick?
14:03Kevin Nisbit's through, though.
14:05At the other end.
14:08It's set my end to end at the moment.
14:09You've got a lot of players appealing for a lot of things
14:12over the last five minutes.
14:13Did you not think that was a free kick, Willie?
14:16Oh, they've hit the post again.
14:17I didn't get it here, but Michael, that's my answer to it,
14:19to be perfectly honest.
14:21We have another red card, lads.
14:22You've probably got a better idea there.
14:23Hold on, let's go to Firhill, Derek Ferguson with the red cards.
14:26This time it's for the visitors, it's O'Brien.
14:28I think he's hauled down Samuel.
14:31The referee took his time.
14:33Fair play to him.
14:34Had a good think to himself.
14:36In that time, it was only two or three seconds,
14:38but it looked.
14:39Ascending off, denying a goal-scoring opportunity,
14:41so it's a free kick for Thistle on the edge of the box,
14:44but now we've got 10 v 10, as it says O'Reilly,
14:47sent off for Thistle in the second half in 58 minutes,
14:51and then we've only got what?
14:53We've got about three, four minutes left,
14:55and that's O'Brien taking an early shower,
14:58so 10 v 10.
15:00We may yet still have a goal here at Firthul.
15:04Nothing each at the moment.
15:05Back to Rory as a chance for a Falkirk six, was it, Rory?
15:08Yeah, well, it was a good turn by Finn Yates.
15:10Chance, probably half a chance on the edge of the box.
15:12He drilled a low shot,
15:13and it clipped the outside of the post.
15:15He was the latest player to have another goal.
15:17Philip Lissart, oh my goodness,
15:18he's been so good today.
15:20So, so good.
15:21He's been dragged down so many times
15:22because he's so powerful, so strong,
15:24but yeah, Falkirk have ran right.
15:26Varnis-Jewart will not get his hat-trick, incidentally.
15:28He's been replaced by Brian Green.
15:30Goal! Three, two, Hibbs!
15:32Wow!
15:33Ball comes, Jamie McGrath.
15:35Wow!
15:36The away end is going crazy.
15:39Great play from Hibbs.
15:40His ball gets shifted into Jamie McGrath,
15:41and he's in the inside of the box.
15:43He shifts it.
15:44The Dundee defender can't touch him,
15:45shifts it inside,
15:46and you think he's going to open his foot up
15:48and curl it into the far post.
15:50He drills it near side
15:51and beats John McGrath.
15:53Three, two, Hibbs.
15:54Great comeback.
15:54It's a good finish, isn't it, Varnis?
15:56It's a great finish.
15:57Another finish in Perth as well.
15:59Oh, it's now 3-1 for St Johnston.
16:02A breakaway from a corner kick for United.
16:06They break away and it's 4v2.
16:08And, you know, they try and slip Sam Stanton through.
16:10The ball rolls away from him.
16:12Max Thompson slides out.
16:14Doesn't get a hold of it.
16:15It ricochets off him.
16:16And he's just been rounded.
16:18I try to see who it is.
16:19It's celebrating.
16:19There was four of them that could tap it in.
16:21But right now, I'll come back to you who scored.
16:23But right now, it's St Johnston, three, United, one.
16:26That's a great ball.
16:27Keeper Thistle from that result.
16:29Free kick.
16:30Rattled the bar.
16:31It was Ocean Smith.
16:32A wonderful free kick.
16:3318 yards out.
16:34Keeper was nowhere to be seen.
16:37Unfortunate for Thistle.
16:38Just rattles off that draw.
16:40Still 0-0 here at Thistle.
16:42It was really Peyton.
16:43Peyton, OK.
16:44Thanks, Chris.
16:45You want to talk about the Jamie McGrath.
16:47It was a great finish.
16:49But that, you know, I was just talking a few minutes ago
16:52when it was 2-1 Dundee.
16:54And the disappointment for Hibs.
16:56That's flipped on its head big time.
16:58And that just feeds into the feeling that
17:00could be a bit of a tasty finish to the season for Hibs as well.
17:04Because they're still trying to chase those teams in front.
17:07And you would not bet against Hibs having a major say
17:11in the title race as well.
17:13Because they're capable, very much capable,
17:16of beating the teams above them.
17:17The Jamie McGrath have been outstanding today.
17:20He's been brilliant.
17:20He's been brilliant all season.
17:21I mean, 9 or 10 goals.
17:22He's been...
17:238 in the league, certainly, yeah.
17:24Yeah, I think 9 overall.
17:25He's been excellent.
17:27I mean, Hibs now are only, what are they,
17:29the 5 points behind Motherwell.
17:31I mean, it's so condensed.
17:34And Motherwell are shooting the lights out.
17:35Like Motherwell, I know we've all eulogised them all season.
17:38If this finishes 2-0 for them today,
17:41there'll be three goals conceded in their last 16 games.
17:4418 conceded in 28 in the league.
17:48Like, they're unprecedented numbers.
17:51Unprecedented numbers.
17:52Only six conceded at home in 15 games,
17:56if it stays the way it is.
17:57Is that the best defensive record in Europe?
17:59Is it?
18:01I don't know.
18:01People are having a bit of crack with that tune.
18:03It's better than PSG and Real Madrid.
18:05Well, I mean, Tom's not cracking serious.
18:08Come on.
18:10It's phenomenal.
18:11But those sorts of numbers are title-winning type numbers.
18:15Yeah, yeah.
18:16Particularly because they're so expansive
18:18and they play such open, attacking football.
18:22It's almost, you know,
18:23the contrast doesn't seem to kind of make sense,
18:26but actually...
18:27Because it's just control.
18:28They've got such control of the game.
18:30The game, they've got such control of the game.
18:33That's why, you know,
18:34that they're ending up with such great,
18:37you know, clean sheets.
18:38They do it with ease.
18:39The minute the game kicks off,
18:40they just absorb the ball
18:41and just knock on the...
18:42And then they control the game.
18:44Of course, the second half has been a little bit sloppy.
18:46They've been loose.
18:46They've made some subs
18:47and they've encouraged Dundee United.
18:48But you're right,
18:49they just control the game
18:50and they're so good with the ball
18:51that the opposition just don't make any real impact.
18:54Did they change anything at all, Craggs,
18:55when you said Dundee United went man for man?
18:57Did they adapt to that?
18:58How did they get round that?
18:59I was just saying, they just went long.
19:01Callum Ward just knocked the ball over the top
19:02and they just chased one-on-one.
19:03Well, he's done a lot on a penalty
19:05but it's no chance.
19:06Mekiela goes down in the box.
19:08He's what an a penalty,
19:09not for me at the back post.
19:11Just a coming together with Richardson
19:13as he goes for an overhead kick.
19:15Mekiela now got to still add him
19:16and it's a penalty.
19:17He's in the referee's face.
19:19He's what an a penalty kick.
19:20Thinks he's held.
19:22Mark Durnan's third goal of the season
19:24has given Dumbartan a late equaliser
19:26away to Stirling Albion in League Two.
19:30Six minutes for anyone to get a winner
19:31here at Livingston.
19:32One-one.
19:33Five minutes for us
19:34and this is the best spell Aberdeen have had.
19:37Certainly in the second half,
19:38they've got a little bit of control of the ball.
19:40They're not doing too much with it
19:42but it's getting a little bit nervous
19:43in the stadium itself from the fans.
19:47I don't know if Aberdeen have got the quality.
19:50They've got the players out there
19:51that can actually take something out of this game.
19:54Certainly on the evidence of the player,
19:56they don't deserve that.
19:57But Hearts are having to defend
19:59and they are defending in numbers
20:00for probably the first time in the game.
20:03Hearts have now had 20 shots.
20:06Seven on target.
20:08Aberdeen zero on target.
20:10It's ridiculous that this is just 1-0.
20:13I mean, if Hearts let this slip,
20:16and I don't think they will
20:17because you can't see Aberdeen scoring,
20:20they'll never forgive themselves.
20:22But there's so much in control of this game.
20:24It's incredible.
20:28Yeah, Aberdeen's goal-scoring away from home,
20:30they've only scored seven away goals all season
20:33and none in the last,
20:34well, what is now almost seven games.
20:37It's a deplorable away record
20:40and that's why they're languishing in eighth place.
20:43Oh, who's got something...
20:46A new blue ahead of...
20:47It's decent enough.
20:49Just widen the target from a corner.
20:52Looks like another day,
20:53a victory for Livingston and St Mirren.
20:57Moes on the road continue.
20:59So Motherwell just a point behind Celtic now.
21:02Yeah, three points behind Rangers.
21:04Can I also say,
21:06I think there's over 7,500 Motherwell fans in here today
21:08which is almost every seat taken in the home end.
21:11To the final whistle goes
21:12and it just shows you the appetite from the fans
21:14when the team are playing well.
21:15Full-time here, Alistair.
21:162-0 Motherwell.
21:18Routine.
21:19Routine.
21:20I guess that way.
21:21Oh, he's done it again.
21:23Oh, it's Ocean Smith again.
21:25He's hit the bar with a free kick.
21:26This time, he's about 25 yards out.
21:29It's a wonderful strike.
21:30He's beat the keeper
21:31and again it just rattles the top of the bar
21:34and Thistle really going for it there
21:36with the 10 men.
21:3710 v 10 at the moment.
21:39Oh, so close for Thistle.
21:41It remains.
21:42Parthie Thistle, 0-0.
21:43A growth, 0.
21:44Thanks, Derek.
21:45That win for Motherwell
21:46makes it nine unbeaten in the league for them.
21:49Only just one home defeat all season.
21:51Only Hearts have got more home points.
21:54It's the first time they've won three in a row, actually,
21:57since September 23.
22:00But the form, generally speaking,
22:02has been outstanding, you would have to say.
22:04Who's got that?
22:05John Rankin.
22:063-3.
22:073-3 at 10.
22:09Congreve.
22:10Left foot.
22:11Just outside the box.
22:13On the ankle.
22:14Turtles it to the far post.
22:16Cubs have been defending for their lives
22:18and Dundee get a point in the 95th minute.
22:21That's incredible stuff.
22:24Yet again, the Premiership is delivering.
22:26It's Cam Congreve.
22:28It's just the second league goal of the season.
22:31It looked like a really nice finish from the edge of the box.
22:33Of course, all the action on sports scene tonight from quarter past seven
22:38on the BBC Scotland channel.
22:40And, well, the goals have been flying in around the country.
22:44Plenty of them to look forward to with Stephen.
22:49I think it's Richard Foster who's joining him this evening for sports scene.
22:55So the final whistle's beginning to go around the country.
22:58It's full-time, certainly at Motherwell, as Stephen told us.
23:02Falker still looking for another goal at home to Kilmarnock.
23:07That's been a real dream for Neil McCann.
23:09Turkish Thistle now.
23:10A growth now.
23:11OK, Derek.
23:12Disappointment for Mark Wilson.
23:14Caution to the wind here.
23:16Jack Meln's up as a striker.
23:18There's Sivert Nielsen's up beside them.
23:20They've got four strikers up there.
23:22Lazadich and Nisbet as well.
23:24I think they're going to run out of time right enough,
23:26but because it's such a fine line,
23:29you know, Peter Liebens just ordered them to go up top
23:32and try to salvage something out of this game
23:35that they don't really deserve to take anything from.
23:37Game over here.
23:383-3.
23:39That was the last kick of the ball with Congreve.
23:41What a game.
23:42What a game at Denz Park.
23:44We'll get a full account from John Rankin
23:46in just a few minutes
23:48once the full-time whistles sound at all the games.
23:53You can hear the Harps fans in the background.
23:55We shall not be moved
23:57as the rallying cry is there deep into stoppage time.
24:02And they've got a free kick
24:04as they try to see out yet another victory.
24:06The only unbeaten side at home in the league
24:11and that is going to continue beyond today for sure.
24:16And they look like they're heading seven points clear
24:19at the top of the table.
24:21It is a fabulous record that Harps have
24:24and it's just getting better
24:27and they've definitely got winnable games
24:29coming up before the split as well.
24:35So, where are we still playing?
24:36We're still playing at the Falkers Stadium.
24:38Full-time.
24:39Full-time at Tyne Castle and Harps do it.
24:421-0 victory.
24:43A dominant 1-0 victory here for the league leaders.
24:46Yeah, as you were saying here later on, Tom,
24:48they've got a few of those...
24:50There were a lot.
24:52They must have four of those now this year.
24:551-0 wins.
24:56But that was 1-0.
24:58That was a different type of 1-0
24:59to some of the others.
25:001-0 going on 3 and 4.
25:01I mean, you say that, Tom,
25:02but it's not any different
25:05when you get towards the last 15 minutes of the game
25:07and it's only 1-0.
25:09Oh, no, for sure.
25:10There's inevitably an element of anxiety that kicks in.
25:13But the more that they do it,
25:16the more comfortable the players themselves.
25:18They were on the front foot the whole day.
25:21But I tell you,
25:22Derek McInnes will be longing for the day
25:24that Lauren Shantley comes back in
25:25towards her second or third goal there.
25:27Big time.
25:27Full-time in Perth, Al.
25:29St Johnstone 3, United 1.
25:31I think you've got to look at it as well, Michael, Tom,
25:33that Hearts don't have to go to Aberdeen,
25:35which is historically a disaster for them,
25:37and St Mirren.
25:39Another tough place to go for them as well.
25:41They don't have to go there.
25:42They're just...
25:43Yeah, that's true, Aaron.
25:45They don't win at Aberdeen.
25:46Full-time in Falkirk.
25:48Falkirk 5.
25:48Come on, like one.
25:50Sensational stuff from John McGlynn's side,
25:52but a desperate result for Neil McCann
25:55and his side languishing in the relegation playoff spot.
26:01So, I think...
26:02See, I'll see that performance, though, at Tynecastle.
26:04I mean, that...
26:05You know, now,
26:06it's all the positives you take for it
26:07because it was a dominant performance.
26:09I mean, they thoroughly deserved that.
26:12They were good.
26:13And, you know, they battered Aberdeen there.
26:16They did.
26:17And, yes, it's only 1-0,
26:18but there's so many positives for Hearts to take out of that.
26:21So many positives.
26:23There's a bit of aggro there on the pitch afterwards.
26:27Like, if they did, they bossed them.
26:291-0, but they bossed it.
26:30They showed an awful lot of bottle.
26:31And people keep waiting for Hearts to slip.
26:35Maybe they're just not going to slip.
26:37Maybe they're not.
26:37Maybe they're going to see it through.
26:38This is a huge win for you.
26:40This is then 1-1 with Sipmarin.
26:42What has gone on on the pitch there?
26:45This is at Tynecastle.
26:46Willie, are you still watching what's going on there?
26:49Yeah, I'm still here.
26:49If you switch me up, yeah.
26:51I'm trying to talk to you.
26:52Can you hear me?
26:52I'm blaming the producer.
26:54Good stuff, good stuff.
26:56Go on, Willie.
26:56There's a bit of...
26:57I think it was Geiger that instigated it,
27:00but then all of a sudden...
27:01Peter Lieven's out there as well.
27:03He's unhappy with something.
27:05I'm not 100% sure.
27:06He was over it with the referee,
27:08giving the referee verbal,
27:09and then stayed on the pitch.
27:11So he was involved in it.
27:13But I think it was Geiger,
27:14who's been pretty prickly through this afternoon,
27:17you know, since he took that challenge,
27:19that knock in the leg.
27:20It's all settled down now,
27:22and the Hearts players are away
27:24to enjoy the moment with the fans.
27:27But there was certainly looked like a...
27:29And Derek McKinnis and Peter Lieven
27:31are having a bit of a conversation.
27:33I think they had a little nibble at each other,
27:36you know, about a couple of minutes ago
27:38and about 50 yards from where they are now,
27:40but they're having a heated discussion
27:43in the Hearts half, the second half.
27:46So Peter Lieven's obviously not happy with something.
27:49Not 100% sure.
27:50Derek McKinnis is savouring the moment,
27:52obviously.
27:53You have a right to do so.
27:55Who wouldn't?
27:56Loving it.
27:57That's what he is.
27:57He's had a little...
27:58He's had an exchange of views there
28:00with Peter Lieven.
28:01A wee bit of radiation there,
28:02the Geiger counter getting a wee bit excited.
28:04Oh, good, Mikey.
28:05He's turned around Derek McKinnis
28:07and walked away
28:07and just held his hands up in the air
28:09with a little bit of a smile.
28:10Celebratory.
28:12It started a bit earlier, though.
28:13That was the second nibble that they had
28:15at each other.
28:17They were at it in the halfway line
28:19and it kind of worked its way up
28:21towards nearer the goal.
28:23We need to find out,
28:25Willie, what's all this about?
28:26Yeah, I'm sure we'll...
28:27The bottom line is Hearts win again.
28:29Yeah, that is the bottom line.
28:31Well, it's full-time around the country,
28:33so it's time now for the full-time reports.
28:37Starting with that game at Time Castle
28:39where commentary was brought to you
28:41this afternoon by Ryan Stevenson
28:43and Kerdie Nidsson.
28:48Taking their way off the field,
28:50Derek McKinnis is still saluting the main stand.
28:53Why?
28:54Because it's victory number 19
28:58of Hearts' incredible season.
29:02A single goal victory.
29:04Claudio Braga was the only difference
29:07in terms of the scoreline between these two sides.
29:1028 minutes.
29:11Kabori's brilliant set-up.
29:13A lovely acute angled finish
29:15from Claudio Braga
29:16for his 15th goal of an impressive season.
29:19Kabori should have scored.
29:24I think we've lost Cairdian there, unfortunately.
29:26We've lost Tyne Castle altogether.
29:29And never mind, Hearts winning by a goal to nil.
29:33We'll get that line back up in time
29:34for the post-match interviews for sure.
29:37Let's get to Fir Park then.
29:40A full-time wrap-up from Stephen Craig
29:42and after Motherwell were victorious
29:43against Dundee United.
29:45Indeed they were, Alistair.
29:46In the end here at Fir Park,
29:47it was another routine win for the Steelmen.
29:50It was that star man,
29:51a key player this season,
29:53Tawanda Maswanese,
29:54who'd done the damage with a double.
29:56It's 20th and 21st goals
29:57off the season for the home side.
30:00He got the opener just before the 40-minute mark.
30:02He slotted home a penalty kick
30:04after an off-the-ball incident
30:05involving himself and Vigo Chavez.
30:07Nick Walsh was asked to go and have a look
30:09at the screen.
30:10He decided it was a penalty kick.
30:11There was a check for violent conduct.
30:13It ended up being a reckless challenge
30:15from Chavez and Maswanese made
30:18started home, sorry,
30:19from 12 yards.
30:20He didn't see the points
30:21just after half-time.
30:23Within a minute of the second half,
30:25restarting an ambitious shot,
30:26it has to be said,
30:27from the edge of the box.
30:27Took a wicked deflection
30:29off Chavez once again.
30:31Wrong footer,
30:31Ashley Maynard Brewer
30:32and Maswanese didn't care.
30:34The ball ended up
30:34in the back of the net.
30:35From that moment on,
30:36it was really comfortable
30:36for Motherwell.
30:37They had a couple of chances
30:38after that.
30:38Maswanese had two good opportunities
30:40to get his hat-trick,
30:41but unfortunately for him,
30:42he passed up both chances.
30:44The closest Dundee United
30:45came late in the game.
30:46It was a direct
30:47from a corner kick.
30:48Trapanovsky,
30:49in-swing and corner kick
30:49from the left-hand side,
30:50crashed off the post,
30:51but Jim Goodwin
30:52will be disappointed
30:53that his team didn't make
30:54any more of a match of it
30:55in the second half,
30:56didn't make any real inroads
30:57in the game.
30:58So another clean sheet
30:59for Motherwell,
31:00another three points
31:00for the home side.
31:01They now sit within
31:02one point of Celtic
31:03and I think three points
31:04of Rangers as they go
31:05head-to-head tomorrow.
31:06Full-time here at Fair Park,
31:08it's Motherwell 2,
31:08Dundee United 0.
31:09They've also got the best goal
31:10difference in the league now.
31:11Motherwell.
31:12Motherwell.
31:13Best goal difference
31:13in the league.
31:14Hugely impressive stuff
31:15from Iain Bertolasco's side
31:18once more.
31:19Let's head to the bottom
31:20end of the table.
31:22It was a game you felt
31:23Livingston probably had to win.
31:24Stephen Robinson said
31:25it was a must-not-lose
31:27for St Mirren.
31:27How did it finish up there?
31:28Alan Preston.
31:29Livingston won St Mirren
31:30with Alistair
31:31and St Mirren had the better
31:32of the first half.
31:33Tanzer crossed,
31:33Richardson had a three-on
31:35got a touch onto the bar
31:36and away for a corner,
31:37but the only goal
31:37in the opening period
31:38came in 44 minutes.
31:40It's Mandarum way across,
31:41Lundaloo with a header,
31:42looping header
31:42over Prior
31:43into the back of the net.
31:45Livingston rang the changes,
31:47all credit to Marvin Bartley,
31:48he changed his front three
31:49and he brought on
31:49Barry Mackay.
31:50His cross in 74 minutes
31:51found Cobham Golo
31:53who volleyed one
31:53in last week against Rangers.
31:54This one was a cute header
31:56into the bottom
31:56of the net
31:57to make that 1-1.
31:58So that makes Livingston
31:59seven behind Kilmarnock
32:00in 12,
32:01St Mirren
32:02three ahead of Kilmarnock
32:03in 10th,
32:04one win in 29
32:05for Livingston.
32:06Final score,
32:06Livingston one,
32:07St Mirren one.
32:08Yeah,
32:08not great for Livy,
32:10you would have to say.
32:11It's the avoided defeat again,
32:12but as Alan was saying
32:14earlier on,
32:15draw is just not good enough
32:16for them.
32:17In the predicament,
32:18they find themselves.
32:19Let's head to Dens,
32:21another,
32:22well,
32:23titanic battle up there
32:24that was watched
32:25by John Rankin.
32:26Dundee against the Bernian.
32:27Yeah,
32:28a great game here at Dens.
32:29It finishes 3-3.
32:31Dundee,
32:32the game burst into life
32:33after 11 minutes
32:34when Owen Eldon
32:35headed Hibbs in front
32:36with a Nicky Cadden cross.
32:38That lead only lasted
32:39for four minutes
32:39when a long ball
32:40from Luke Graham
32:41caught Hibbs out
32:41while Simon Murray
32:43burst in and going
32:43from the left-hand side,
32:44chopped inside Rocky Bashiri
32:46and hit a deflected effort
32:47off of him
32:48into the net.
32:49Hibbs dominated the bulk
32:50of the first half after that,
32:51but they couldn't find
32:52their way in front.
32:54Second half started
32:55with a Sam Conk,
32:56a Sam Congreve
32:57cutting inside
32:58on his left foot
32:59and putting the ball
32:59out for a throw-on
33:00in the far side,
33:01much to the frustration
33:02of the home support.
33:03After that,
33:05Dundee managed
33:06to get themselves in front
33:06from a Luke Graham
33:08header at the back post.
33:11To credit the Hibbs
33:12coaching staff,
33:13they made a change
33:14and went to a back four.
33:16That had a massive
33:17bearing in the game.
33:18Ante Souto come on
33:19and scored
33:2018 minutes after he came on
33:22in the 84th minute
33:23to make it 2-2.
33:25Soon after that,
33:26Jamie McGrath
33:27cut inside
33:28on the left-hand side
33:29into the box,
33:29cuts inside,
33:30chops,
33:31he opens up as if
33:32he's going to fire the ball
33:32into the far side
33:33where he's instep
33:34and cuts across the ball,
33:35catches John McCracken
33:36near post,
33:37he put the away side
33:393-2 up,
33:39going into the last wee bit.
33:41You could see
33:41Hibbs were getting
33:42back to the wall
33:43defending the box
33:44and it was that guy
33:46Congreve again,
33:46cuts inside
33:47on his left-hand side.
33:48This time the ball
33:49does not go out
33:49for a throw-on
33:50in the far sides
33:51but he's nestled
33:51right in the back
33:52of the net
33:52with inside
33:53his left foot.
33:54Great game here
33:55at Denz.
33:55I was fearful
33:56after the first
33:5710 minutes
33:57but wow,
33:583-3,
33:59great game.
34:00Six goals shared
34:02at Denz Park
34:04there between
34:04Dundee and Hibbs.
34:05Six goals
34:06as well
34:07at the Falkirk Stadium.
34:08Shared also
34:09but not shared
34:10equally.
34:10Rory Loy.
34:11No,
34:11most certainly not.
34:12Falkirk were
34:14fantastic on the day
34:15and they set the stall out,
34:16they set the bar high
34:17in terms of
34:18their offensive intent
34:19from minute one.
34:21The ball was played
34:22out wide
34:23to Calvin Miller
34:23from kick-off.
34:25It did make his way
34:26eventually into the box.
34:27He went to cut the ball back
34:29and Ethan Brown
34:30saw the shot
34:31deflect off his leg
34:32into the back of the net
34:33and that's pretty much
34:34summed up
34:35Kilmarnock's day
34:35out with one or two
34:37little glimpses
34:38at goal
34:38and one goal itself.
34:39On 28 minutes
34:41Stewart's header
34:42was palmed out
34:43by Roos.
34:43Really poor attempt
34:44to be fair
34:45and Dylan Tate
34:46managed to come
34:47and tap it
34:47into the back of the net.
34:49He wasn't going to miss
34:49from there.
34:50Stewart's head
34:51played a big part
34:52in this game
34:53and caused Kilmarnock
34:54all sorts of problems
34:55and it was a corner kick
34:56went all the way
34:57to the back
34:59edge of the box
35:00and it was Cole Donaldson
35:01who smashed a volley
35:02across goal.
35:03More than hope
35:04and expectation
35:04I would have suggested
35:05but there was his pal
35:07Barney Stewart
35:07to glance it
35:08into the far corner
35:09to make it 3-0.
35:11Watson did have a shot
35:12up the other end
35:12which was easily saved
35:13by Bain
35:14followed by a shot
35:15from Kilty
35:15from 25 yards
35:16which did fly past
35:17the Falkirk goalkeeper
35:18Scott Bain
35:19to give Kilmarnock
35:20a glimmer of hope
35:21going into the break
35:22as it was 3-1.
35:24There was a couple
35:24of opportunities
35:25actually for Falkirk
35:26towards the end
35:26of the first half
35:27and one for Kilmarnock
35:28but they didn't end up
35:29in any more goals.
35:30Falkirk could fly
35:31in out the traps
35:31in the second half
35:32and Barney Stewart
35:33tapped home
35:35from a Calvin
35:36Miller cross
35:37and it was 5-1
35:38not long after
35:39when Dylan Tate's
35:40strike from 25 yards
35:41flew past
35:42the goalkeeper
35:44Kellerus
35:44who I thought
35:45looked really short
35:46confidence on the day.
35:48Two for Tate
35:48two for Barney Stewart
35:49at this point
35:50and an own goal
35:51and there was other
35:52chances for Falkirk
35:53how they didn't make it 6
35:54when Brozio hit the post
35:55it went across the goal
35:55Miller and Stewart
35:56between them
35:57somehow managed
35:58to contrive
35:59not to put it
36:00in the back of the net
36:01following on from that
36:02Finn Yates hit the post
36:03Brian Graham
36:03had a chance
36:06from across
36:07on the left hand side
36:08Philip Lisa
36:10was a standout
36:10on the day
36:11Liam Henderson
36:12was a standout
36:12on the day
36:13Barney Stewart
36:14you could run through
36:14the full team
36:15Falkirk
36:16by far and away
36:17the best team
36:185-1 did not flatter them
36:19and it finishes here
36:20at the Falkirk Stadium
36:21Falkirk 5
36:21come on at one.
36:22Yeah
36:23incredible stuff
36:24from John McGlynn's
36:25side once again
36:25and consolidating
36:27to say the least
36:28their place
36:29in the top
36:306
36:31we'll bring you
36:32post-match reaction
36:33from around the grounds
36:34as soon as we
36:35have it
36:36but let's get back
36:37to Tyne Castle
36:37having cut
36:39Kerdi Nidsan
36:40off on his prime
36:41let's get back
36:41and give him
36:42centre stage
36:43once more
36:44sorry about that
36:45that was the
36:45award winning
36:46all time match
36:47summary between
36:48I think myself
36:48and Ryan Seams
36:49apparently you didn't
36:50hear any of it
36:51at all
36:51so sorry about that
36:52we'll go again
36:53Ryan shall we
36:54this time with feeling
36:54but we were saying
36:55that Hearts
36:56thoroughly
36:57thoroughly merited
36:58their 1-0 win
36:59Tyne Castle now
37:00is absolutely
37:01deserted
37:02but a few moments
37:03ago it was still
37:04jumping
37:05we still had
37:05Derek McInnes
37:06and some of the
37:07players out
37:08celebrating
37:08and why
37:09well because it
37:10was victory
37:11number 19
37:12of an incredible
37:13season so far
37:15to draw the gap
37:17over second place
37:18Rangers up to
37:18seven points
37:20and of course
37:20Rangers welcome
37:21Celtic to
37:22Ibrox
37:23tomorrow
37:23Hearts
37:24can only
37:24take care
37:25of their
37:25own business
37:26and they did
37:26that magnificently
37:27once again
37:28today
37:29the only goal
37:29of the game
37:29came from
37:30Claudio Braga
37:31his 12th
37:32in the league
37:33his 15th
37:34overall
37:35it was a thing
37:36of beauty
37:37a lovely cutback
37:38from Kabori
37:39an acute angled
37:40finish from
37:41Braga
37:41when he's around
37:42the 6 yard box
37:43you know
37:43he's rarely
37:45going to miss
37:46before that
37:47Kabori actually
37:48did miss
37:48an arguably
37:49better chance
37:51he was through
37:51one on one
37:52with Dimitar Mitov
37:53he lobbed the
37:53goalkeeper
37:53but he couldn't
37:54find the target
37:55it bounced
37:55agonisingly
37:56inches wide
37:57of the goalkeeper's
37:58right hand post
38:00Hearts were
38:01fully on top
38:02in the first half
38:02in the second half
38:03Aberdeen
38:05restructured
38:05they reorganised
38:06they brought on
38:07some substitutes
38:07at half time
38:08they went to a
38:09back three
38:09with wing backs
38:10and they pretty
38:11much matched
38:12Hearts for large
38:13periods in the
38:14second half
38:14that said
38:15Hearts still had
38:16the better of the
38:17chances
38:17Blair Spittel
38:18curled a shot
38:19just wide
38:19Claudio Braga
38:20drew a good
38:21save from
38:22Mitov
38:23Aberdeen
38:24the longer
38:25the game
38:25went on
38:26the more
38:26they may be
38:27sniffed an
38:27equalizer
38:27they had a
38:28couple of
38:28shouts from
38:29them for
38:30penalties
38:30Stuart Armstrong
38:31went down
38:32in the box
38:32Kevin Nisbet
38:33wanted a
38:33handball
38:34there was
38:34nothing doing
38:35it was
38:36competitive
38:37it was
38:37feisty
38:38especially
38:38after the
38:39final whistle
38:39when a couple
38:40of the
38:40players came
38:41together
38:41then we
38:42saw both
38:42managers
38:43Peter
38:43Levin
38:43and Derek
38:43McInnes
38:44having an
38:45animated
38:45chin
38:46wag between
38:46the pair
38:47of them
38:47we had
38:48just about
38:49everything
38:49here
38:50drama
38:50energy
38:51commitment
38:52a quality
38:52goal
38:53some good
38:53football
38:54at times
38:54from both
38:54sides
38:55but in
38:55particular
38:56Ryan
38:56Stevenson
38:57from
38:57Hearts
38:58who now
38:58go to
38:5963 points
39:00I don't
39:00know how
39:01many it's
39:01going to
39:01take to
39:02win this
39:03league
39:03maybe 80
39:04maybe 81
39:05well Hearts
39:0517-18
39:06with nine
39:07games to
39:08play
39:08yeah maybe
39:09just another
39:10three points
39:11and another
39:11game ticked
39:12off and now
39:12they're down
39:12to single
39:13figures
39:13so every
39:14week
39:15they kind
39:16of just
39:16answer the
39:17questions
39:18that are put
39:19in front of
39:20them
39:20and even
39:21when they
39:21do have
39:22a defeat
39:22or a bad
39:23result
39:24they bounce
39:24straight back
39:25and I mean
39:26they were
39:26where they
39:26were winners
39:28today
39:28they controlled
39:29the game
39:30in the main
39:30they had some
39:31really good
39:31chances
39:33Aberdeen
39:33tried to
39:33hit them
39:34in the
39:34break a
39:34couple of
39:34times
39:35but that
39:35final ball
39:36and that
39:36final bit
39:37of quality
39:37from Aberdeen
39:38was missing
39:39and Hearts
39:40just did
39:40what Hearts
39:41have done
39:42all season
39:43the fans
39:44backed them
39:44I mean
39:44there was a
39:45little bit
39:45of anxiety
39:45in the last
39:4615-20
39:48minutes
39:48and the
39:50Hearts
39:50players
39:50you could
39:51feel that
39:52but the
39:52fans sort
39:53of helped
39:53them through
39:53it as well
39:54and yeah
39:55it's just
39:55another three
39:56points
39:56on the board
39:57they can
39:58sit back
39:59tonight
40:00enjoy their
40:00night
40:01look forward
40:02to the
40:02game
40:02tomorrow
40:02and as
40:03I said
40:03to you
40:04when I
40:04was on
40:04my rant
40:04which
40:05obviously
40:05none of
40:05the boys
40:06heard
40:06or none
40:06of the
40:06listeners
40:07heard
40:08the pressure
40:09now that
40:09goes on
40:10to the
40:10old firm
40:11tomorrow
40:12I mean
40:12the old firm
40:13game just
40:13in general
40:13is a massive
40:14game
40:15but as Michael
40:16Stewart said
40:17before the
40:17game's kicked
40:18off
40:19both of these
40:19teams now
40:20are looking
40:20not just at
40:21catching hearts
40:22but the fact
40:22that Motherwell
40:23are right on
40:24their coattails
40:25as well
40:25so I mean
40:26the season
40:26and obviously
40:27the other
40:27results coming
40:27in as well
40:28I was sitting
40:28looking at
40:28your laptop
40:29as the
40:29game was
40:30going on
40:30and the
40:30results
40:30coming in
40:31this season
40:32has been
40:32absolutely
40:33bonkers
40:33and it's
40:33just another
40:34weekend
40:34of great
40:35football
40:35great results
40:36and we can
40:37all sit back
40:38and look
40:38forward to
40:39tomorrow's
40:39game now
40:40but yeah
40:40I have for
40:42a while
40:42I think
40:43hearts will
40:44win the
40:44league
40:44I genuinely
40:44do
40:45I cannot
40:46see hearts
40:46buckling
40:47I cannot
40:47see hearts
40:48losing three
40:48or four games
40:49even more so
40:51in the split
40:51I don't think
40:51they will
40:53I just can't
40:54see them
40:54losing the
40:54title now
40:55I genuinely
40:55can't
40:55what they
40:56now have
40:57as well
40:57which may be
40:58to their
40:58advantage
40:59as a late
41:00season break
41:00they are out
41:01of the Scottish
41:02Cup
41:02they now
41:03have a couple
41:03of weeks
41:04off
41:04we think
41:05potentially
41:05Cammy Devlin
41:06may be back
41:07from injury
41:08for their
41:08next match
41:09which is
41:09away to
41:10Kilmarnock
41:11in a fortnight
41:12they won't
41:12worry about
41:13that too much
41:14because right
41:14now after
41:1529 matches
41:16they have
41:1763 points
41:18they have
41:19a 7 point
41:20lead over
41:20Rangers
41:21who welcome
41:22Celtic to
41:22Ibrox tomorrow
41:23so I suspect
41:24they'll be going
41:24home to put
41:25their feet up
41:26open a box
41:27of popcorn
41:28kickback
41:29and relax
41:30final score
41:31here
41:31Hearts 1
41:32Aberdeen 0
41:33they'll be enjoying
41:34their trip away
41:34to Dubai
41:35that's for sure
41:35no
41:36I don't think
41:37they'll be going
41:38there
41:38I'm not sure
41:38that's going
41:39to go ahead
41:39that was the
41:40troubles
41:41oh jeez
41:42they'll be
41:43not be enjoying
41:44it then
41:46no
41:47need to go
41:48get a wee bit
41:49of warm weather
41:50somewhere else
41:50then won't they
41:51well we'll see
41:52in the championship
41:54then let's wrap up
41:55the games that we
41:56had reporters at
41:57today starting with
41:58Derek Ferguson at
41:59Farhill
41:59party thistle
42:00against Arbroath
42:01Derek
42:02scoring here
42:03at Farhill
42:05that first half
42:07Alistair
42:08enough says
42:09about it
42:09the better
42:10it was totally
42:10uneventful
42:11it was torrid
42:11to be truthful
42:14but going into
42:15the second half
42:15Arbroath
42:16were certainly
42:16the brighter
42:17had a couple
42:18of opportunities
42:19early on
42:20Marshall and
42:21Nisbet
42:21with efforts
42:22at goals
42:23but then the
42:23drama started
42:24into that second
42:26half
42:26thistle
42:26they were
42:27reduced to
42:27ten men
42:28O'Reilly
42:28sent off
42:29violent conduct
42:30I believe
42:31for a challenge
42:32on Dow
42:32that injected
42:34a little bit
42:34of life
42:34into the
42:35thistle side
42:36with Fitzpatrick
42:37blasting just
42:38wide of the
42:38target in 58
42:39minutes
42:39the visitors
42:40well they
42:40carved out
42:41it was a
42:42great chance
42:42in 84
42:43minutes
42:43it was
42:43Stuart
42:44laying in
42:44Marshall
42:45hit a shot
42:46pretty well

51:12behind us
51:13I think
51:13the players gave
51:14everything they had
51:15and we just won
51:16a wonderful run
51:18from Andre
51:19Caboury
51:20who just missed
51:21earlier on as well
51:22but a clinical finish
51:24how important do you
51:24think it was
51:25to go into
51:26half-time
51:26and maybe ease
51:27the tension a little
51:28bit with the
51:29stands
51:29yeah of course
51:30that was really
51:31important I feel
51:31like now we're
51:32getting to a point
51:33that we are
51:34maybe with a little
51:35bit more tension
51:36we feel it from
51:37the stands a little
51:37bit it's normal
51:39but at the same
51:40time we know
51:41we can do this
51:42and we know
51:43that that goal
51:44probably get
51:45the stands
51:46even more
51:47released of
51:48tension
51:48and behind us
51:49even more
51:49they were amazing
51:50today
51:50it was unbelievable
51:51so it was really
51:53important to score
51:54the goal
51:54and to go 1-0
51:56to the half-time
51:56just so we can
51:57talk in the locker
51:58room also
51:58to know what we
51:59can do
51:59also second half
52:00but yeah
52:01the most important
52:02was the victory
52:03that's Claudio Braga
52:05whose goal gave
52:06Hearts the victory
52:07over Aberdeen
52:08this afternoon
52:091-0
52:10they triumphed
52:11in that one
52:12we're just going
52:13to finish up
52:14just shortly
52:15on BBC
52:15TV
52:16BBC Scotland
52:17and just to get
52:19your final thoughts
52:20perhaps Ryan
52:21before the television
52:22audience leave us
52:23on Claudio Braga's
52:25overall input
52:26at Hearts
52:26since he joined
52:27in the summer
52:30We all know
52:30what he can do
52:32in possession
52:33of the ball
52:33the goals
52:34that he scored
52:34but honestly
52:35see the work rate
52:36and not just
52:37running about
52:38like a headless
52:38chicken
52:39I mean
52:40defensively
52:41he knows
52:41where to drop
52:41into areas
52:42he tackles well
52:43the amount of
52:44headers that he wins
52:45just his overall
52:46play
52:47he has been
52:47an unbelievable
52:48find for Hearts
52:49I mean 15 goals
52:50this season
52:51and just his
52:53enthusiasm
52:54it just breeds
52:55round about
52:56his fellow players
52:58into the stands
52:59he's been
53:00absolutely
53:01magnificent
53:01this full season
53:02Yeah
53:03very much so
53:04Claudio Braga
53:05almost Jamestown
53:07analytics
53:08paying for itself
53:09with the capture
53:11of Claudio Braga
53:12in that regard
