00:48now and acknowledge our sinful condition I confess to Almighty God and to you my brothers and sisters
00:58that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words in what I have done and

01:40Oh God who to your word reconcile the human race to yourself in a wonderful way grant we pray that
01:47with prompt devotion and eager faith the Christian people may hasten towards the solemn celebration to come to our Lord
01:54Jesus Christ
01:54your son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
02:00Amen. A reading from the first book of Samuel. The Lord said to Samuel, fill your horn with oil
02:10and be on your way. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have chosen my king from
02:16among
02:17his sons. As Jesse and his sons came to the sacrifice, Samuel looked at Elabah and thought,
02:25surely the Lord's anointed is here before him. But the Lord said to Samuel, do not judge from his
02:33appearance or from his lofty statue, because I have rejected him. Not as man sees does God see,
02:41because man sees the appearance, but the Lord looks into the heart. In the same way,
02:47Jesse presented seven sons from Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse before Samuel, and Samuel said to
02:55Jesse, the Lord has not chosen any one of these. Then Samuel asked Jesse, are these all the sons you
03:03have? Jesse replied, there is still the youngest who is tending the sheep. Samuel said to Jesse,
03:11send for him. We will not begin the sacrificial banquet until he arrives here. Jesse sent and had
03:19the young man brought to them. He was a ruddy, a youth handsome to behold, and making a splendid
03:27appearance. The Lord said, there, anoint him, for this is the one. Then Samuel, with the horn of oil in
03:37hand, anointed David, anointed David in the presence of his brothers. And from that day on, the spirit of the
03:44Lord rushed upon David. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
03:54The Lord is my shepherd. There is nothing I shall want. The Lord is my shepherd. There is nothing I
04:18shall want.
04:22The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. In burdened pastures, he gives me repose.
04:40Beside restful waters, he leads me. He refreshes my soul. Beside restful waters, he leads me. He refreshes my soul.
04:53The Lord is my shepherd. There is nothing I shall want.
05:08He guides me in bright paths, for his name's sake. Even though I walk in the dark valley, I fear
05:25no evil.
05:28For you are at my side. With your rod and your staff. That give me courage.
05:44The Lord is my shepherd. There is nothing I shall want.
05:58You spread the table before me in the sight of my foes. You anoint my head with oil. My cup
06:13runneth over.
06:17The Lord is my shepherd. The Lord is my shepherd. There is nothing I shall want.
06:31Only goodness and kindness. Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life.
06:42And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come.
06:54The Lord is my shepherd. There is nothing I shall want.
07:10A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians.
07:15Brothers and sisters, you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
07:21Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth.
07:29Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
07:32Take no part in the fruitless works of darkness.
07:36Rather, expose them, for it is shameful even to mention the things done by them in secret.
07:42But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that becomes visible is light.
07:50Therefore, it says, awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.
07:58The word of the Lord.
07:59Thanks be to God.
08:04Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
08:18Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
08:50Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
08:59Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
09:06The Lord be with you.
09:08And with your spirit.
09:10A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
09:13Glory to you, Lord.
09:19As Jesus passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
09:23He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva and smeared the clay on his eyes and said
09:29to him,
09:30Go wash in the pool of Siloam, which means scent.
09:35So he went and washed and came back able to see his neighbors and those who had seen him earlier
09:43as a beggar said,
09:45Isn't this the one who used to sit and beg?
09:49Some said it is, but others said, No, he just looks like him.
09:54He said, I am.
09:57They brought the one who was once blind to the Pharisees.
10:02Now, Jesus had made clay and opened his eyes on a Sabbath.
10:06So then the Pharisees also asked him how he was able to see.
10:10He said to them, He put clay on my eyes and I washed and now I can see.
10:16So some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God because he does not keep the Sabbath.
10:23But others said, How can a sinful man do such signs?
10:29And there was a division among them.
10:31So they said to the blind man again, What do you have to say about him since he opened your
10:37eyes?
10:38He said, He is a prophet.
10:42They answered and said to him, You were born totally in sin.
10:46And are you trying to teach us?
10:49Then they threw him out.
10:51When Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, he found him and said,
10:56Do you believe in the Son of Man?
10:59He answered and said, Who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?
11:04Jesus said to him, You have seen him.
11:08The one speaking with you is he.
11:12He said, I do believe, Lord.
11:15And he worshiped him.
11:17The gospel of the Lord.
11:19Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
11:22I believe in one God.
11:41True God from true God, begotten, not made,
11:46consubstantial with the Father.
11:47Through him all things were made.
11:49For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven.
11:54Not the Holy Spirit was in the morning of the Lord to Mary in heaven.
12:00For our sake he was crucified on the Pontius Pilate.
12:03He suffered, died in the building, and rose again on the third day.
12:08In accordance with scriptures, he ascended into heaven
12:11and deceived at the right hand of the Father.
12:15He come again, glory to Jesus, the living and the dead,
12:18and his kingdom will have no end.
12:21I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
12:25who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
12:28who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
12:31who has spoken through the prophets.
12:34I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic church.
12:38I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
12:41and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
12:44and the life of the world to come.
12:47Amen.

13:39Let us pray to the Lord.
13:41Lord, hear our prayer.
13:43For our deceased relatives and friends,

14:03Let us pray to the Lord.
14:05Lord, hear our prayer.
14:08Almighty God, we thank you for the faith of the blind man.
14:12May we not be blind like the Pharisees,
14:15but have the eyes of faith in our heart
14:18and recognize Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
14:21May we follow him to heaven.
14:23He is Christ our Lord.
14:25Amen.
14:28Thank you for the good news, family.
