00:00You know, this is always difficult for me to talk about Deion Sanders
00:02because I used to be friends with him.
00:06Unfortunately, since he's become the head football coach
00:08of the Colorado Buffaloes, he's become a little sensitive
00:11with some of the criticism that we have thrown at him.
00:15Again, this is nothing personal here in what we're saying to Deion.
00:19Dude, it's not working.
00:21You're 16 and 21 in Colorado.
00:25You're making north of $10 million.
00:28People are exiting your program.
00:30Both player and coaching-wise.
00:31Now Warren Sapp steps down as your defensive line coach.
00:35The wheels are coming off, dude.
00:37Hey, look, I'll tell you this about all the things that are going around the program.
00:42You see a guy like Warren Sapp here, he's going to look for new opportunities
00:45because you know why?
00:46He knows what's happening in Colorado right now is going the other way.
00:50And you know why he knows this?
00:53Because of the success of Kurt Signetti in Bloomington.
00:56Kurt Signetti has shown you, whether it be Elon, James Madison, and Indiana,
01:04three programs you never heard of.
01:07And what has Kurt Signetti done?
01:09All the things that the liberal media that cover that program thought that Deion Sanders was going to do in
01:19Colorado,
01:20he has failed.
01:21He's 9th and 18 in conference play between the Pac-12 and where he is now in the Big 12.
01:29I mean, it's not working.
01:32He has not had a top 25 win since he's been the head football coach of the Colorado Buffaloes.
01:40And he's making north of 11 million bucks.
01:44Explain to me the success.
01:46Now, albeit, I'll give you this, exposure to the program.
01:50All the bells and whistles around the program have been, without a doubt, successful.
01:56You've got contributions to the program.
01:58You've got advertising to the program.
02:01You've got visibility to the program.
02:03It's on TV all the time.
02:05At the end of the day, though, dude, you got to win.
02:09Google me.
02:10That's exactly what that coach in Bloomington has done.
02:14All the things that people said he couldn't do at Indiana.
02:20Signetti has now put pressure on programs like Colorado and Deion Sanders because if it can happen in Bloomington,
02:28it can happen anywhere if you put the proper resources and, most importantly, if you have the right coach.
02:36Deion Sanders is bells and whistles.
02:39Like Dan Lanning said back in the day when he was all of a sudden by the media called a
02:45racist because he said,
02:46it's clickbait.
02:48Colorado is clickbait.
02:50Nothing more, nothing less.
02:52Dude, you got to win.
02:54You know, people always tell me, Sills, you know, you're a little hard on the program here because it was
02:59irrelevant.
03:00Prior to that, no one had heard of it since Bill McCarthy back in the day when they were really
03:05winning a lot of games
03:06and they ended up winning a national championship.
03:09Well, fast forward now.
03:11You got a lot of pressure with Neil.
03:13You got a lot of pressure with the transfer portal.
03:15And at the end of the day, guess what, folks?
03:18Deion Sanders has got to leave Boulder.
03:20If you want to recruit, you got to get off your ass and you got to go to kids' homes
03:23and you got to knock on doors
03:25and you've got to bring kids into Colorado that will win for you.
03:29You're 16 and 21 and the program is regressing.
03:34Explain to me how you pay a guy 54 million bucks and you're not winning.
03:40Like I said, you don't have a top 25 win since you've been there.
03:45The TCU win when you first got there in your first year, dude, that's in the rearview mirror.
03:51You know, Deion and I were friends back in the day when we used to play against one another,
03:55when he was at Florida State and I was at the University of Miami.
03:59And we had a great relationship.
04:01Michael Irvin and I and him had a wonderful relationship.
04:04And since we've come out with this stance, Deion's blocked me on X.
04:10And he had his PR guy send me going, why are you being so critical of the program?
04:14Where was the program prior to that?
04:17Hey, dude, once again, this is not personal.
04:19This is a message to you.
04:22You got to win.
04:23Okay.
04:24In my business, it's ratings and revenue.
04:26Okay.
04:27In your business, it's wins.
04:30That's the only thing that matters.
04:32It's wins.
04:33You've got to win.
04:35You can't just have rappers and actors and everyone showing to your program and showing up at your games
04:42and not winning and getting destroyed in the big 12.
04:47You've got to win and you've got to win significant games.
04:51The guy in Bloomington is making that happen.
04:55And he has put pressure.
04:57You guys don't realize the Indiana football program was the worst program in college football history.
05:04Kurt Signetti just goes undefeated.
05:06And inside of two years has resurrected a program that was non-existent.
05:13You had to go back to 1948 when they won a Big Ten championship.
05:17This was after World War II.
05:20It's incredible.
05:22Hey, Dion, get off your ass and go recruit.
05:25Get players to want to go and play there.
05:28Recruiting players by Zoom?
05:30That ain't going to get it done, dude.
05:32You've got to start winning.
05:3416-21?
05:36That is absolutely not getting it done.
05:39So, again, Dion, let's go, man.
