00:00And what is usually the biggest talking point when it comes to college athletics nowadays?

00:05Money, cash, paying the kids, who's paying rent, who's getting what?

00:11Why don't we start with Deion?

00:12This is the clip that I guess has gotten the most gas out of Big 12 Media Week.

00:17And that is, of course, Deion being asked if he thinks that college football needs a salary cap.

00:23The top of the line player makes this.

00:25And if you're not that type of guy, you know you're not going to make that.

00:28That's what the NFL does.

00:30So the problem is you've got a guy that's not that darn good, but he could go to another school and give him a half a million dollars.

00:37You can't compete with that.

00:38It don't make sense.

00:39And you're talking about equality.

00:41Not equality.

00:42Like equal.

00:43I guess it was equality.

00:45And all you have to do is look at the playoffs and see what those teams spent.

00:49And you understand, darn, why they're in the playoffs.

00:51It's kind of hard to compete with somebody who's given $25, $30 million to a darn freshman class.

00:57Right.

00:57It's crazy.

01:01We're not complaining because all these coaches up here can coach their butts off and give them the right opportunity with the right players.

01:05And to play here and there, you'll be there.

01:07But it's what's going on right now don't make sense.

01:11And we want to say stuff, but we're trying to be professional.

01:15But you're going to see the same teams darn near the end with somebody who sneaks up in there.

01:20But the team that pays the most is going to be there in it.

01:24Well, that's the way it works.

01:26And, you know, what's funny is that he makes a boatload of money coaching at Colorado.

01:33I'm sure he's not crying about the money he's making per year.

01:36And then he was coaching a team with his sons on it, making all kinds of money.

01:43His quarterback son was making a fortune playing in Boulder.

01:46I don't want to hear it.

01:48Here's the deal.

01:50You know, spilled milk.

01:51Okay, we have been hearing people crying after the milk was spilled since they started paying NIO money to college athletes.

02:03And all we heard about was that before that was is that we need to pay these kids.

02:09We have to pay these kids.

02:11There's got to be a stipend.

02:12There's got to be they can't even order a pizza.

02:15This is what we've been hearing for 30 years.

02:19We've been hearing they got to change college sports.

02:23So then what do they do?

02:24They change it.

02:26And then ever since they've changed it, all we've heard is people complain.

02:30That's all they do is complain about it.

02:32The haves and have nots.

02:34How much can you believe how much they're, you know, Ohio State's paying their team to play football?

02:38No wonder they won the title.

02:39It's real simple.

02:40You cannot have it both ways.

02:43You cannot complain about these kids not having any money and being able to survive in college.

02:49on just a scholarship and an education.

02:51Now we're paying them all boatloads of money.

02:54So you can't cry about the money now.

02:57What they need to do, I agree with him that they need to have a salary cap.

03:01College sports is out of control.

03:03But you know what?

03:05You had it coming.

03:07You asked for this.

03:08You all wanted it.

03:09You were all crying for it.

03:11Well, now you got it.
