00:00A home care service in Chatham has been rated inadequate overall by the Care Quality Commission after seven breaches of
00:08regulations were found, many of which had been identified before and not fixed.
00:13The registration of Bright Brains Global Limited has been removed and the service will remain in special measures, which means
00:20the CQC will monitor it closely and expect significant improvements quickly.
00:25The CQC clarified in their report that they had looked for evidence that people were protected from abuse and avoidable
00:33harm.
00:33At this assessment, the rating has remained inadequate. Areas such as managing people's health needs were even deemed unsafe, with
00:41staff found as not being trained enough.
00:44Now, if improvements aren't made, Bright Brains Global Limited could face enforcement action.
