00:30The charge was framed under Section 323 of the Penal Code for Voluntarily Causing Hurt,
00:35read with Section 326A of the same code for causing hurt to a spouse.
00:40The offence is punishable by up to two years in prison, a maximum RM2,000 fine, or both, upon conviction.
00:47The prosecution requested that bail be set at RM5,000, but Fahmi's lawyer, Shamshir Singh Tin,
00:53sought a lower amount, saying his client had cooperated with the police.
00:58Chia granted bail of RM2,000 with one surety and fixed April 28th for case mention and document submission.
