00:00Okay, so tonight in College Hoops, Mike will be locked into Michigan State and Purdue, two teams jockeying for position
00:08as we head toward the tournament.
00:10Purdue is going to be in the tournament, so will Michigan State.
00:13Boilermakers, seven and a half point favorites, total of 141 and a half.
00:18Do you have a position at all in the game this evening, Mike?
00:22That's a lot of points to be given, Tom Izzo, isn't it?
00:26I like the little head start if I'm a Spartan.
00:30That's surprising to me.
00:32Not that Purdue would be favored, but by that number, it is surprising.
00:37Purdue has been fantastic lately, and that may be what they're seeing.
00:41Braden Smith is all in on trying to get Purdue back to the Final Four for a second time in
00:48his career.
00:49Fantastic player.
00:51And I think that Purdue has solved a lot of problems with their offense.
00:54They've got two big guys, neither of whom is a face-up, stretch-you-away-from-the-basket-big, but
01:00they've come up with some concepts that have been able to get Trey Kaufman-Wren in better positions.
01:05He'll be guarded, whether it's Carson Cooper or Jackson Kohler, he's going to be defended by a significantly tall player,
01:15a taller player than he is.
01:16And Michigan State doesn't like to double, especially in the post.
01:21So I'll be very curious to see how they guard him.
01:25And if Trey has a big night, I think that Purdue will win.
01:29But gosh, seven and a half, that's a lot.
01:31So I'll be right back.
