00:00We continue with information from the United States, where President Trump's State of Union address was full of controversy, self
00:06-praise and, above all, division.
00:08Our correspondent in the United States, Henry Camelo, has more.
00:14Before Democratic and Republican members of Congress, President Donald Trump delivered his first State of the Union address of his
00:23second term.
00:23A speech that, in addition to addressing economy, immigration and foreign policy issues, was remarked by racism and divisive insults,
00:34which, according to analysts, made it clear that President Trump cares least about unity for his country.
00:42Trump did exactly what we knew that he would do. He lied, as he always does.
00:47We live in an epic of post-truth and post-reality, and that's the ruling class that he represents and
00:55that he spoke for last night.
00:57No surprises whatsoever.
00:59On Economy Matters, President Trump has shared that the United States is on the right track.
01:05But in 12 months, my administration has driven core inflation down to the lowest level in more than five years.
01:12And in the last three months of 2025, it was down to 1.7%.
01:23However, data from Federal Reserve shows that currently, inflation stands at 2.7%,
01:31something that is hardly cost for celebration among Americans.
01:36Do you think, from your own experience, going to a supermarket or shopping, that prices are going down?
01:43I think anybody who's buying anything right now knows that prices aren't going down.
01:47No matter how many times Trump says that they are, it doesn't make it real.
01:51Nobody's feeling like things are doing better right now.
01:53And the immigration issue heated up the atmosphere in Congress.
01:57You should be ashamed of yourself.
02:00That is why I'm also asking you to end deadly sanctuary cities that protect the criminals
02:07and enact serious penalties for public officials who block the removal of criminal aliens.
02:14In many cases, drug lords, murderers all over our country,
02:18they're blocking the removal of these people out of our country.
02:23And you should be ashamed of yourself.
02:29I think that he's putting all immigrants in one box,
02:34and all immigrants are not the same person,
02:37just like everybody that lives and comes from here isn't the same person.
02:41I think that he is not treating immigrants well.
02:46And he threatened to attack Iran if it didn't abandon its nuclear program.
02:52My preference is to solve this problem through diplomacy.
02:57But one thing is certain, I will never allow the world's number one sponsor of terror,
03:02which they are by far, to have a nuclear weapon.
03:05Can't let that happen.
03:09For analyst Danny Shaw, Trump's speech was more of the same.
03:15We heard the arrogance and we heard the lies of another wannabe world's emperor.
03:22And, you know, who would have thought?
03:25Who would have thought in the form of this arrogant billionaire whose wealth continues to rise?
03:31He talked about his own economic interests in hotels and websites.
03:36It was beyond nauseating to see all of these Republicans enabling him,
03:40because we live in a society where it's save yourself.
03:44A crude reality for the most vulnerable ones, the immigrants.
