00:00Right, so there you saw President Trump giving his State of the Union address for 2026.
00:06Lots of highlights there, but top it all is the address and comments on Iran.
00:11And one thing is clear, President Trump says at no cost will he allow Tehran to develop nuclear weapons.
00:19And that is something that is drawing both the nations to eyeballs to eyeballs.
00:24We have seen how the talks haven't yielded much as far as the Oman leg was concerned.
00:30Now the focus is shifting to Geneva, where the talks between U.S. and Iran would take place on Thursday,
00:40which is tomorrow.
00:42And the all-important meeting, obviously, Witkoff and Jared Kushner are leading from the front.
00:49Trump appreciated them as well for their role.
00:52And amidst all this drama, the domestic politics saw the almost 90% of Trump's speech was focused on that.
01:02And as would be the custom and the scenario as well, because State of the Union address is something that
01:08the president is accorded.
01:12The option and the opportunity to put down the report card of the last year and also draw the roadmap
01:19for the year to come.
01:21And significantly, when it comes to America's domestic politics and domestic policies, tariff was one thing that Donald Trump did
01:30not miss to mention.
01:31And he slammed the Supreme Court for its decision on the rollback and reversal of the tariffs that Donald Trump
01:40had imposed on several nations across the globe after coming to power.
01:47War on fraud is another aspect where Donald Trump did not mince his words.
01:53J.D. Vance has been given the responsibility to lead the department.
01:58Yes. And that is something that the Americans have been eagerly wanting to because Donald Trump knows that if he
02:08has to go for a third term, if he has to go for a third term, then he will definitely
02:13need all the support of the people.
02:15We are joined by guests. Let's put them on the screen. We have Vlada Galan.
02:18Vlada, to begin with, how do you see this State of the Union address?
02:24First of all, domestic issues definitely weighed heavy.
02:28But do you see the all favorite Donald Trump or was he just giving, you know, the brief from the
02:35teleprompter?
02:36Yeah. What you saw tonight was Donald Trump's continued policy of America first.
02:44He focused on, you know, the accomplishments that he's had over the last year, which have been significant.
02:51You've had fentanyl down over 50 percent at the border.
02:54You've deported or removed by will many, many illegal aliens that either use the self-deport program or were deported
03:04and removed from the country.
03:06Making Americans safer. The list goes on, you know, of Trump's accomplishments.
03:11I don't need to repeat them. They were well stated in the State of the Union.
03:14But what you saw very much was America first and which is a platform that he has continued to tout
03:20and has pushed very heavily this year in protecting Americans.
03:24That's even what the tariffs were about originally as well.
03:29So you've seen that kind of continue when it comes to, you know, making a deal with Iran on not
03:36building nuclear weapons.
03:38Well, that's positive policy that makes the world a safer place and very curious to see what those negotiations yield.
