00:18this episode of Can Check. Oh, it's true. We actually technically did, but that's another
00:23episode that we'll talk about at another time. We are here enjoying ourselves in Western Maine as
00:28we do. Had a nice little fire with small fire going just to take the chill out as the sun

00:34down. And Nate, I wanted you and I to collaborate on a Can Check. First of all, that's a great

00:40Cave and the Bad Seeds. Oh, right on. Yeah, one of the best. That's fantastic. I'm rocking. You gave
00:44this to me. He looks silly because it's wrinkled, but that is my David Lynch t-shirt. We're both big
00:50David Lynch fans as well. Wow, Bob. Wow. But I wanted to have like a legit because the series of
00:57videos is called Can Check, but I've been drinking a lot of pints and bottles and such. So this
01:02is an actual Can Check. We're going to talk about cans of beer. And Nate, you were, even
01:09though you're younger than me, the first of the two of us to enjoy the Frosty Hops because
01:15I didn't start drinking until I was in my mid-20s. You started drinking at legal drinking
01:20age at the age of 21. So talk to me about one of your favorite cans from back when you
01:27were first introduced to the wonders of drinking beer. Right. Yeah. We were talking about this
01:32and I'm sure some beer drinkers are familiar with Newcastle Brown Ale, which came in a clear
01:39bottle. But it also, at one point they had it in cans. There was a black can with a gold
01:46logo. It's a really cool logo. Yeah. But it tasted really good too. It tasted a little
01:49different than when it came in a bottle. But yeah, me and my friend Joe, when we were
01:55in our partying days, we used to go to this liquor store in our town that had them and we
02:00would just buy the whole case because they had them in like four, six packs. Yeah, they
02:05did. Yeah, you did. And the guy caught on. So he started being like, hey, you guys, you
02:09like that, huh? We're like, yeah. So he's like, I'll keep ordering it if you'll buy it.
02:13So nice. No, we bought it. So yeah, it was one of my favorites. And then they changed
02:16it. It got like bought and sold or whatever. I think we talk about this. Yeah. Lagunitas
02:20is another one. Yeah. Another episode of Can't Check. Either I've talked about it or I'm going
02:24to talk about it. But the whole Newcastle Brown Ale, it was a time, man, like that early
02:302000s era. Like it was a really good go-to, the Nut Brown Ale. But we have a can today
02:35that
02:35you chose from the case at the store. And this is a favorite of yours as well. And
02:43it's local. It's a main beer. Yeah. Talk to us about Baxter's. Baxter's good, man.
02:47We, another friend of mine, Wes, he, at his wedding, he actually had this on tap. He had
02:52a keg of it. That was the, not the one we have. Yeah. Show them what we got. We have
02:57the Coastal Haze IPA. We got the Coastal Haze. You got to hold that up for everybody.

03:15Coastal Haze IPA. And this is one that you turned me on to. Yeah, it's good. And this
03:20is kind of a go-to for you. This is one of your faves when we're up here and we're

03:23up local beers. This is kind of your go-to. Very tasty. You got to watch out. Get that mic
03:28up in you. There you go. Sorry. You got to watch out. He'll put you down if you have too
