00:03listen i want to talk to you guys about something really really serious actually that happened over
00:07the weekend um if you have or maybe heard about it that ella langley had a show that was supposed
00:14to be happening in oklahoma and she canceled and um and there was a lot of buzz about this because
00:22here's what happened it's the day of the show in tulsa oklahoma and they get a threat that someone
00:28is going to do harm at the ella langley concert at this venue and um and they said that there
00:35would
00:35be explosives and gunshots oh my gosh so obviously all of you know the security is involved the police
00:45are involved everybody comes they and and the local police said that they did a full sweep they took it
00:50very seriously this threat they did a full sweep of the area they did a whole investigation they found
00:55that there was no real threat that this was maybe a false alarm or you know a fake call-in
01:00or whatever
01:01um and they still ended up canceling the show and ella's the one that pulled the trigger
01:08on this um and i say that you may have heard about it because not only was the show canceled
01:14but the
01:14next day the security people were like hey we said like we had it and it was fine and that
01:22we would be
01:22able to take care of it this wasn't us that canceled this was her that canceled so the next
01:27night ella is performing in texas and listen to what she said i was put in charge of a decision
01:33for 15 000 people and i decided to make the decision that i could live with the rest of my
01:41life
01:43yeah the decision she could live with for the rest of her life she said nothing is more important
01:47than one human life nothing and if she saved one person by not having that concert yeah that's the
01:55decision that she can live and those 15 000 people will live with that decision too yeah for the rest
02:00of their lives because even if there was something that went on i mean that would be with oh i
02:05mean
02:05yeah it's unimaginable yeah it's such a hard decision for an artist to make too poor ella i
02:12mean you just feel for her but here's what i love about it is that it seems like it wasn't
02:15a tough
02:16decision for her right like because when you put it that way it's like okay right and and i wonder
02:21who it was that said to her okay ella this is big you're gonna be letting a lot of people
02:25down
02:25but at the same time imagine if you go on with this and and something happens can you live with
02:31that
02:31and she was probably like no forget it we're done we're done we're done i don't blame her good for
02:36her
02:36good for her
