00:00immediately. It's a good bit
00:01where we've talked so much about ground ball rate
00:03and it's like this trendy thing
00:05when it comes to Justin Crawford. I'm guilty of it as well.
00:08People have never talked
00:09about percentage of balls hit on the ground
00:12I think with a Phillies player ever until Justin
00:14Crawford in the minor leagues were like, he can't get the ball in the air.
00:16All he decides is he's going to start
00:18his Phillies career, just
00:20hit one off the wall, big double for him,
00:22goes two for three his opening day.
00:23And that was encouraging to see in the sense that, yes,
00:26the pitch he hit, if he hit it on the ground, I'd be really
00:28concerned about his ability to hit anything in the air.
00:31But, that's what you look for
00:32in spring training. You look for these storylines. You look for, hey,
00:34is this guy hitting? Is this guy figuring it out?
00:36Crawford, that was an encouraging start for me.
00:38So, Justin Crawford, Hall of Famer, Sean Brace? Yes.
00:40Wall of Famer, at least. Lock it in.
00:42Yeah, at least a Wall of Famer. Probably
00:44a Hall of Famer after one weekend of spring training.
00:46Look, you tune in and his first at-bat
00:48he goes off the left center field
00:50wall with a double, 390
00:52feet to the gap. It's great.
00:54It's great to see. I love the levity of saying
00:56he has to hit the weight room. He knows. He knows what the
00:58conversation around him is. He's not going to hit a lot of
01:00home runs, but he's good at his job. Stay healthy.
01:02Tear it up. And, you know what?
01:04Like, I saw this on my timeline. I thought
01:06he was a pretty good outfielder
01:08in AAA. I never heard anything
01:10bad about his playing. Oh, he played left field.
01:12That's the thing. Okay. As a concern is him playing
01:14center field. Okay, gotcha. Because I
01:16saw a lot of conversation about that. I'm like, he looked
01:18really good out there in outfield. He made a nice
01:20grab coming up. Again,
01:22at least a Wall of Famer after one weekend.
01:24Potentially a Hall of Famer.
01:36a Hall of Famer.
