00:10Hi there, Upton.
00:11Yes, I am at the ADECO Group stand.
00:15ADECO Group is one of the world leaders in HR solutions.
00:19And here in France, ADECO Group has 9,000 employees.
00:24They've got 1,400 offices and agencies, and they work with 47,000 different businesses.
00:31And they're looking at solutions for HR for the future, of course, so how to innovate.
00:36And a bit of a focus today for our Inside Viva Tech on inclusivity in recruitment.
00:42Now, you might think making a CV, we've all done that before, it's quite easy.
00:47But actually, for a lot of people, it's not so easy.
00:49There's a whole sort of language to making a CV, and the technical side can put people off.
00:54Or quite simply, you know, maybe you've broken your arm, you need to apply for a job quickly,
00:59and you can't type one out.
01:00So they've got this tool which is already being used, a new version coming out soon,
01:06the Inclusive CV Maker.
01:08Now, we've already set it up.
01:10I'm going to do a little test.
01:12Okay.
01:12And what it does is you simply speak into it, you tell it some of your professional experiences,
01:17and then it creates CVs for you.
01:18So Gutierre is going to help me out.
01:20Let's do a test, Gutierre.
01:23I was a French can-can dancer in Germany from 2003 to 2010.
01:31From 2010 to 2023, I was a pastry chef in Paris.
01:37Okay.
01:38So let's see what it does with those somewhat fictitious job experiences there.
01:43I wanted to keep it interesting.
01:44But you can see, so this tool, it's actually available for free via ADECO's website.
01:49People can go online, and they can do what I did just there,
01:52speak into whatever microphone they can have hooked up to their computer.
01:57It understands different languages.
01:58It can generate the CV in different languages as well.
02:02And so you're going to see in a second, it's all going to pop up.
02:06There we go.
02:06It's even translated into French for me.
02:09So Dorses can-can in Alemania, French can-can dancer in Germany.
02:13So it's, yeah, Gutierre, excellent work.
02:16It's understood what I was telling it.
02:18So, yeah, an idea there to bring more inclusivity into the hiring process.
02:23So if we take you a little bit further around the ADECO stand,
02:27we have something for recruiters, for the people in the HR departments who are doing the hiring.
02:34So this is the inclusive box.

02:38Hello there.
02:40So I'm going to be taking the place of a recruiter and testing my own prejudices
02:46and also whether I respond to people coming to me with their prejudices.
02:50It's a training tool to try and remove discrimination from the hiring process.
02:55So I would be in your place.
02:57I would be speaking to somebody, having a sort of an interview with somebody who might say to me,
03:04I need to hire a new assistant.
03:06I need it to be a young woman and I don't want any foreigners or something like this.
03:11And it films you.
03:13And then this image that we have on the computer here, this is what gets filmed.
03:18If we come outside, we can see how it gets analysed using artificial intelligence.
03:24So over here, you can see we get analysis of your face.
03:30How does your face look when somebody says something discriminatory to you?
03:33How does your voice sound?
03:35There's various elements here that go into this.
03:38And this is to help recruiters with their own way of behaving when they're undertaking the recruitment process.
03:47And using these technological innovations to get to the heart of something very, very human.
03:52So we can see it's a place where the human aspects and the technological aspects cross over.
03:58So, yeah, this is all down at the ADECO Group stand here in VivaTech.
04:03If I just take you and show you the stand a bit more, we've got all sorts going on here.
04:08They're doing talks as well for employers, for HR professionals.
04:13And as you can see, all these innovations to show you as well.
