00:04I promised you a couple of minutes ago that we were going to see how luxury meets with the content
00:10industry.
00:11This is definitely what we're about to do with you, Tony Belloni.
00:14You're the managing director of LVMH Group, which of course stands short for Louis Vuitton Moet NC.

00:24So, I mean, you're here this year at Viva Tech with a major announcement.
00:28Major announcement because you're going to show us how to blend luxury with content and the gaming industry.
00:35You're teaming up with Epic Games.
00:38First of all, thanks for having me here.
00:41It's a pleasure.
00:42And yes, it's great news.
00:44I'm so excited to be able to share that with you here at Viva Tech.
00:49When you look at our roster of brands, we have 75 brands.
00:54Some of them decades or even centuries old.
00:57So, our obsession is that of keeping them young, fresh, exciting, relevant for the customer of today and tomorrow.
01:07And the best way to do that is through innovation and creativity.
01:12So, the partnership with Epic Games makes a lot of sense because they are the masters.
01:19They have a suite of creator tools in 3D, which obviously can combine with the legacy, the narrative, the incredible
01:30products of our brands to create unique experiences.
01:34Unique experiences that will speak the same language that they have proven so effective with the young audiences with their
01:42gaming and that will prove effective also with our customers of today and of tomorrow.
01:48And of course, Epic Games is the editor of Fortnite, which is a fabulous platform when it comes to blending
01:55music, luxury, and all of the other examples of content.
02:01What will we will be able to experience as LVMH consumers into this brand new world you guys are opening
02:09for us?
02:10So, it's a great question.
02:12We are obviously only at the beginning and with the partnership, we will give it much more relevance and experience.
02:20We did present last year an experience which was sort of a digital travel through ancient Rome, which was developed
02:30together with one of the key assets of Epic Games, which is the Unreal Engine.
02:35And that was incredibly captivating for customers and other viewers.
02:41We also have introduced, and the people here at VivaTech know her very well, a digital ambassador, a digital personality
02:50called Livy.
02:51And she has been the face of all our innovation and technology, even inside the group.
02:59She will be present again at VivaTech this year.
03:02And as you will see, with the improvement of the technology, with aging, she gets better.
03:08Okay?
03:08So, that is one.
03:09And then, I will say, this year, we are going to present something that will be presented by our most
03:16important brand, Louis Vuitton.
03:18We call it Digital Show Experience.
03:22It's, in fact, a six-minute digital travel, which will allow customers to live again through the Fall Winter 23
03:31Men Show,
03:32which was held physically at the Carré du Louvre at the beginning of the year.
03:38And that will offer new, immersive, different, unique ways of discovering the products, the looks, and the show itself.
03:47Very exciting, I think.
03:48Obviously, with the partnership, we expect many more brands to continue to work.
03:53And we'll probably be back with great, exciting things next year.

03:59Well, actually, I definitely remember Livy from last year's LVMH Awards with Bernard Arnault.
04:05She was literally taking the stage and co-presenting the entire show.
04:08So, I'm definitely looking forward to see what she's up to this very season.
04:13And I guess your awards are definitely on Thursday, right?
04:15They are tomorrow, and I will be present together with Livy.
04:18Wow.

04:19I mean, Improvement is definitely co-presenting with Tony.
04:22She's getting younger, me a little less, but it doesn't matter.
04:25Absolutely.
04:26So, actually, there's another partnerships in the pipe, if I can say so.
04:31And this time, it was Apple.
04:34What do you expect from teaming up with this huge name when it comes to big tech?
04:40So, it's a very relevant question.
04:42It's on a different dimension of the experience.
04:46If you look at our stand here, it's called the Dreambox.
04:49So, we are obviously in the business of making people dream with incredible products, experiences, emotions.
04:57But our customer is also very, very keen on using well their time and on a shopping experience that is
05:07efficient and fluid.
05:08We have to admit that in that area, some businesses other than luxury are at the forefront.
05:15So, we are catching up, but we picked a great partner, Apple Tap2Pay, to help us develop that.
05:24So, the idea is that it will be much easier, fluid, and secure.
05:29You don't need any hardware.
05:31You don't need to go to the cashier.
05:33It's enough that you tap with your phone to the client in Liltun, which is offered an iPhone on the
05:40side of our client advisor,
05:41to have the payment executed in a way that, I underline that, it's not only very rapid, but it's also
05:50very secure,
05:51because no data from the customer has stored either on the terminal or in our server.
05:57They continue to be protected and with the customer.

06:05We are starting with our bigger brands, but the idea is to take that across the world as rapidly as

06:22Because we offer those experiences through an army of people in our stores.
06:26They are very valued for their expertise, for their advice, for the human touch.
06:31But having a way of making things happen quickly, it's very appreciated by the customers.
