00:05runs in women's hockey history as they've just absolutely smashed uh the opposition
00:13getting to the gold medal game now this doesn't really come as a surprise for those of you that
00:18tuned in uh to the program and uh our previews of the women's hockey this is far from a surprise
00:25all right this is the um this is the eighth time that we've had women's hockey in the olympics
00:32and six of the seven times has been canada versus the usa all right so uh but the pendulum has
00:38swung
00:39right now the usa have the momentum and it's amazing that the usa were like minus 138 minus 140
00:46in that neighborhood to win a gold medal before the olympics started and we told you listen
00:52hammer it put it in parlays do what you want with it but the usa are going to win the
00:57the gold medal
00:58now it's minus 700 like literally and fairly minus 700 it was minus 400 immediately after canada's game

01:37very sharp with the woman's uh games and i was just surprised to see it go from minus 400 to

01:44in the span of a couple hours the puck line went from one and a half to two and a

01:48yet this this american team just has been absolutely dominant five nothing win against sweden which
01:55you know there were some moments where the swedes hung around the thing is the woman goalies are
02:01really good right so like on pretty much every country there they know we're not as good as the
02:07united states and canada is so we better have a really good goalie to make up for it so every
02:14team
02:14basically does have a very good goalie and it'll be the same situation it'll be the same situation with
02:22with canada and the u.s canada's goalie is really good the u.s will have a million shots and
02:27stuff but
02:27it'll be hard for them to score yet they're gonna help match canada canada also uh survived today but
02:34they only won 2-1 against team switzerland they were four and a half goal favorites to put it in
02:39context and this canadian women's team are they're still the second best but the gap is starting to
02:46close and after the game the swiss women uh said that that was the first time that we've ever played
02:52canada we thought we had a chance of winning like in the game which is like unheard of like that

02:58basically you know i mean like i said like they said yeah it's the first time ever that we thought

03:10right now is just uh next level they haven't given up a goal in 331 minutes the u.s they

03:26up one goal in the entire tournament it's just been an absolute dominant run uh for this usa woman's
03:33team but they have one more game left so for the record that game is going to be thursday
