00:06They were like, you know, minus 500 favorites today in this game.
00:10So that's not a surprise that they won.
00:12But the success that they're having, you know, the women's win the gold medal.

00:20The women's curling team has qualified into the semifinals.
00:27Like, it's just been a red-hot week for Team USA in a winner game.
00:32So let's start off with the women's hockey game today.
00:35Listen, a hockey game that was a lot closer than anybody thought it was going to be,
00:39including, I think, the players on Team Canada who, you know,
00:45thought that, you know, they would have a chance of winning,
00:48but privately would say, yeah, listen, we're the big underdogs in this game.
00:53We talked about it last night.
00:54We set the table, you know, we've been talking about it for the last couple of weeks.
00:57But Team USA had beaten the Canadian women seven straight times.
01:04They just played four games in what they call the rivalry series leading up to the Olympics,
01:10where they take it for, it's not like exhibition.
01:12They take it seriously.
01:14And the USA outscored them 24-7 in the four games.
01:18Then they beat them.
01:19They beat them in the World Championships 4-3.
01:21They beat them 5-0 earlier in these Olympic games.
01:24So, you figure, all right, the USA are just going to roll them in a gold medal game.
01:29But Canada showed up today and threw the kitchen sink at the U.S.
01:34and had a 1-0 lead with, like, two minutes remaining in the game.
01:40It seemed as if though Canada was going to pull off the improbable.
01:43And it's crazy because Canada has never been an underdog before in one of these games.
01:47But the U.S. is now better than they are.
01:50Yeah, Canada nearly pulled off the upset.
01:52And there's a lesson to be learned here.
01:54Anybody who's paying attention to the hockey in the Olympics, men's and or women's,
01:58Switzerland won the bronze medal today.
