A total of 18 Soca songs have been registered for this year's Road March competiton.

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians' Organisation made the announcement today.....as they reminded the public about the rules that determine which song would be the Road March for Carnival.

00:27national roadmatch competition for Carnival 2026.
00:31Bungee Garland's Still a Roadman is on the list for 2026 following his announcement that he registered the song on
00:38Carnival Friday for the roadmatch competition after previously and recently declared that he would not do so.
00:46Garland is a past roadmatch winner.
00:49Tuko's list of the 18 songs also includes Encore by Marshall Montano, who is seeking to win a record 12th
00:57roadmatch title which would break the late Lord Kitchener's record.
01:01Also on the list for 2026 is Care Behave by Voice, who is seeking his first roadmatch title.
01:09Other soccer songs registered for the 2026 roadmatch competition include Lego by J. Angel, Move Out the Way by Marshall
01:17Montano and Paris Coutain, Respectfully Yours by Full Blown, and Love on the Road by Brave Boy, as well as
01:24Euphoria by Second Star.
01:26Shutter Links registered two songs for the 2026 roadmatch competition, Beating Road and Drinker.
01:33As with any year, the debate among soccer lovers about the roadmatch starts before the competition and also among masqueraders
01:41after Carnival is over.
01:44However, Tuko is reminding the public that the roadmatch winner is determined by the song played the highest number of
01:51times at the designated judging points during the parade of the bands on Carnival Monday and Tuesday.
