00:09As the latest results show, my focus is on doing the job the Prime Minister has set for me for
00:16the country,
00:16which is getting our NHS back on its feet and making sure it's fit for the future.
00:20We're making real progress. Waiting lists are down again, despite strikes in December,
00:26despite Christmas and the lower activity.
00:30And last year, we delivered 18.4 million operations and appointments.
00:35That is a record for the NHS. That's how we're getting waiting lists down.
00:39We're seeing ambulances arriving faster this winter than last winter,
00:43patient satisfaction with access to general practice rising.
00:46But I would be the first to say, for all that progress, there is more to do.
00:51The NHS is on the road to recovery, but I've got my foot down on the accelerator this year.
00:55We're going to continue to make progress in the NHS.
00:58We're going to go further and faster, and that is the only job I am focused on.
