00:00Today's figures show that the NHS is on the road to recovery.
00:04Waiting lists are falling for the first time in over 15 years and since Labour came to
00:08office they're down by almost a quarter of a million.
00:12Of course there's so much more to do, but whether it's falling waiting lists, whether
00:16it's ambulances arriving about 10 minutes faster to heart attack and stroke patients
00:21this year than they did this time last year, or indeed whether it's the fact that patient
00:25satisfaction with general practices rising where we've delivered over two and a half
00:30thousand more GPs since we came to office.
00:33There are lots of green shoots for recovery and there's lots of signs the NHS is moving
00:38forward but I'd be the first to say a lot done, a lot more to do.
