00:06I commissioned my husband and cat to share their adorable daily routine which consists of making
00:11me the third wheel. Karen is snotty because she has a chronic respiratory condition so when they
00:17wake up the first thing my husband does is gently wipe away any eye or nose crusties. Karen then
00:23follows him around the entire morning. When he brushes his teeth she's right there.
00:30When he's eating his granola she's right there.
00:33Hey that's my cereal. That's my cereal.
00:38When he leaves for work she longingly stares out the window. To pass the time she curls up next to
00:44me while I work all day. The fun doesn't begin really until dad gets home from the office.
00:49Karen always greets him at the door.
00:50She's so excited that she immediately gets the zoomies. They'll chase each other around
01:03the house and then she'll decide it's time for cuddles.
01:12Karen mirrors basically everything he does. When he works out she works out.
01:21When he's busy around the house she's right there. His tiny little assistant.
01:25Stinker. Your dad's trying to fix something.
01:30Her routine truly is being Jackson's shadow and honestly watching their bond makes my heart so full.
01:40Finally when it's bedtime Karen curls up next to him and starts pawing at him to let him know she's
01:47ready for what we call her program. Eventually she tires out and immediately starts snoring on dad's pillow.
02:01And that is the day in the life of our very special Karen and her adorable little routine
02:06of being my husband's little sidekick.
