00:00If we don't express how we feel over time, it'll pop up in our health, right?
00:05So in my lab, I have people with a red balloon trying to dunk it into water.
00:10And every time they try to dunk that red balloon in water, it pops up.
00:14So when you deflate that balloon and you express how you feel,
00:18then that relieves the tension and it won't pop up in ways like snapping at your kids,
00:23you know, having a breakdown at work, or it popping up in your health.
00:27So on the count of three, I want you to vent one emotion that you felt today, good or bad.

00:35Tired.
00:39And so when you do that over time, your body does relax.
00:44It's a natural coping mechanism.
00:46The fourth is values.
00:48What are the things in life that bring you meaning and purpose?
00:51Not the things with price tags, the things that are priceless.
00:54So things like family, your faith, causes that you believe in.
00:59When you tap into those and invest in those, you will become happier.
