00:00There are so many books to be written about Virgil. This is a book that focuses on the fashion part of Virgil, but there could also be a book about the DJ Virgil, about the Virgil who loved to do collaborations.
00:13And so the first thing, of course, is you want to be fair and you want to be able to speak to both the people who adored him and you want to speak to the people who were conflicted in their feelings about him and his creativity and how it worked.
00:32But the other reason is because there have been so many really influential, specifically black designers who laid the groundwork for Virgil and parts of their small, small parts of their story are told in this book.
00:53And I think, you know, we need to be able to capture those people who have impacted the industry.
