00:00So I had to sit face to face with the Lord and say, okay, no, I'm not there yet, but let's take a journey to get there.
00:07How do I need to discover you so that you become enough?
00:10So that whenever I got to give up something or when you walk me into something, I can say, I might lose this at any moment, but God is enough.
00:18And the years that I've had with my dad, if he goes on to glory, are enough because you saw fit to call him in that time.
00:25And so I started the book with that chapter because you can't talk about, I'm going to give God my yes when you don't talk about what you got to surrender and give up.
00:33And so that was the hardest chapter because I love God.
00:36So I thought I would be like, easy, yes, for sure, God, you're enough.
00:38And I'm like, hold on, hold on, roll that back.
00:41Is he really enough?
00:43And do I know him enough to be like, nah, he is.
00:46Whether I'm losing something or gaining something, it doesn't change the weight.
00:51And so I always say obedience is not about what you get on the other side of it.
00:55It's about the God you meet through it.
