00:00About a month ago, I walked into a men's boutique.
00:03I was dropping off some merchandise,
00:06and I noticed a shirt that I really liked.
00:08And I said, wow, this is a dope shirt.
00:10He said, well, the designer comes in all the time.
00:12The designer walks into the store.
00:15I said, well, I love your stuff.
00:16He said, well, I love yours, too.
00:17You should do furniture.
00:18I said, yeah, I should do a lot of stuff.
00:20So I laughed it off.
00:21He said, well, actually, I'm the marketing manager
00:24for the largest beanbag company in the world,
00:26and it happens to be headquartered in Atlanta.
00:30Wow.
00:31So I had curtains in my car from another event.
00:35He turned the curtains that were in my car into this furniture.
00:38So this is the original sample that he made out of curtains.
00:43And so he showed it to his boss.
00:45His boss said, I need her to come into my office immediately.
00:48So now I'm the first black woman to partner with Jax Bean Bags,
00:52a global furniture company.
00:54And it launched on Tuesday.
00:57And so I've been dragging these samples around the country.
00:59So when I have my interviews, I say,
01:01I don't want to sit in regular chairs.
01:03I need to sit on my own throne.
