00:00There's now a Little Caribbean. It's the first and only one in the world, which is in Brooklyn, in Flatbush,
00:05which is where I was born and raised, and I still reside.
00:08So I think before we get into the tourism piece, it was really about putting Flatbush and putting Little Caribbean on the map officially.
00:15So if you pull up Google Maps, for example, or Apple Maps, and you type in Little Caribbean,
00:20you'll see that there is an official designation, and we were able to work with the City of New York,
00:26as well as some other stakeholders to have that designated.
00:30But then once we launched Little Caribbean, I was kind of like, so we have a space for ourselves.
00:36So what, right? Like, what is next, right? So you have this neighborhood.
00:41And so the first thing that we did is we started to do these walking tours.
00:46And believe it or not, the first walking tour that we did, 80 people showed up, right?
00:51They were like, it was a really multicultural group.
00:53And one of the things that I learned on those early tours is that everyone wanted to know
00:58where the best jerk chicken is, where the best roti is, and also, like, how do you eat it?
01:04What do you think of it?
01:19And then lastly, let me talk about, like, how do you eat it?
